The White Horse in Cheshire East

Ok until the need of the night when the owners girlfriend went crazy and started making accusations because people had been sat with a girl the owner was talking to. Very strange place. Oh and as usual there was someone unconscious in the toilets.

Music and drinks were ok but it got unusual when what I assume was a former member of staff started shouting at customers 10 minutes before closing and then demanding the bouncers eject people. Drinking isn’t for everyone.

Sports friendly... sticky floor...nice people

Great on a Saturday night. Busy, good atmosphere and great music.

This place has televisions everywhere and plenty of seating so it's a great place to watch football in Nantwich.... They also do Coors on draft which is a bonus 👍

Just went there for afternoon drinks with girl friends, bar staff really friendly, good selection of drinks, dog friendly too. Fantastic outdoor seating area, but could do with cushion on benches (numb bum!)

Beer was dear, staff were unfriendly & music was to loud as I came in at 5pm white horse use to be very pub in nantwich.

Bitter,sweet for me to be honest. Decent vibe. But I'll tell you know, been a Nantwich lad since and can honestly say, the way me and my mate were treated in there was not far as a piss take! Kicked off on as soon as I walked through the door. Oh and chucked out for doinf nothing!!!

Horrendous place Turned up Three carers with badges, taking five disabled adults to the jazz and blues festival. We were told we couldn't come through with three wheel chairs we needed to go to the back of 200 people que? Avoid this anti disability pub at all costs

Fun pub, good drinks and has a dance floor which is handy. All in all a nice vibe.

We quite often call in at The White Horse in Nantwich around lunch time, due to being able to take our dog in with us. The staff are always helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Only popped in to catch the football. All good.

Disgusted at how I was treated I’m 32 got asked for my if and never been so insulted in my life. Was a joke there was no friendly welcome was rude and insulting

A Greene King pub with good deco and signage. It has an absolutely massive beer garden, partly covered, but you do feel like you're sat in the car-park it used to be. Was there early on a Wednesday so it was empty (both in and out) but I gather it gets busy (and there is often live music, too).

Visited this pub for the first time and I was made to feel uncomfortable. Sat at bar with a couple of friends just chatting. I was drinking soft drinks as driving therefore finished quicker then my friends drinking pints. It seemed the minute I finished a drink one of the bar tenders asked if I need another. The first time I did indeed want another but this was constant throughout the hour and half we were there. This wasnt just my opinion as my friends also had the same treatment. Felt like they didnt want you there unless you had a drink in your hand. I understand they need to make money but because of the pressure we felt to keep buying drinks we left and helped another pub with their profits

Great atmosphere great bar staff and fantastic large outdoor seating area. Prices were a little strange when I last went though was charged different prices for the same order a few times when I went up to pay for drinks

Always has been & still is a good pub. Could do with more cask but it's mainly a young ones pub now so they probably don't sell much of it!

Visited Saturday evening, me and my friend had a pint of bitter it smelt off, asked for a new one girl puffed and rolled her eyes, ended up having lager and cider instead, decided to have another took ages to get served because the staff were chatting in a group, useless, been shut because of covid for months, now can't be bothered to serve customers, come on!

Great tradinioal meeting pub Had many a great evening in there over the years. A great atmosphere whether you are young or old.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly, a good mix of age groups. Very busy but bar staff were most efficient.

Good music, good beer, punk on draft but why the TV's on virtually every wall that nobody was watching on my visit. They spoil the place.

Fun staff that gladly pranked my son! Also, they allowed us to bring in food. Nice!

Lovely service and atmosphere, good prices and great outside seating area. The one star is for, and don't ask why I was in the women's toilets, the complete lack of toilet roll in the middle cubicle was too much to bare. Please don't let it happen again guy's.

What an absolute dump! It's like being in a time warp, vinyl seats and a weird plaid carpet with even more bizarre decorative items on the walls, which are a complete Mish mash. The worst thing is the toilets.... haven't changed in 40 yrs and are absolutely filthy. If you're 18 you'll probably like this dump.

What an absolutely awful pub, me and my 4 bridesmaid just wanted to go and enjoy the football, we’re refused to come in because they were at ‘full capacity’ and then let the people behind us is. Awful attitude, awful management AVOID

Well where do I start I came out for a family do and I asked the barman to help wheel my grandad and somehow he flipped him out of his wheelchair but lucky for him a midget drinking monster guided him to up unfortunately he was quite a scary character he was wearing a faux leather trench coat and tried to smother hi lucky for my grandad he had a heart attack RIP BIG DOG

Good outdoor seating areas and quick service. Bit of a queue outside for later arrivals but we got in quick

Waitresses were rude and judgmental towards me and my friends and the food was average (£4 for chicken nuggets and chips). They tried everything for us to not get inside because they judged us as myself and my friends are teenage boys, even though we did nothing wrong. Never coming back to this dump.

Fantastic music venue with regular live acts. They have a really good selection of lager Here. Probably one of the best in town. The service here has always been very friendly when ever I have Been in. Keep up the good work your doing great.

Great pub with plenty of beers and ales available. The interior is quite dated but adds to the character. Outdoor area is decent with plenty of seating when the weather is good. They had live music on when we went and it was really good.

Had a nice meal yesterday. Had the gammon and scampi. Good value for the money.

Went for a drink with friends sat down and 10 minutes later got called a c*unt by a man in there for no reason he must of been drunk so I complained to staff and they spoke to the bouncers who told me to move or leave as the were ‘sound’ I then questioned and got no reason as to why I was the one asked to go horribly rude and patronising will never be returning horrible staff letting me and group of friends be spoke to with such abuse for no reason

Visited the white horse whilst attending Nantwich jazz festival, really fantastic atmosphere and wide selection of drinks available

Big marquee for the Jazz & Blues festival & great music but food did not seem to be available as indicated in the programme.

Dropped in on a Thursday evening, fair selection of the normal bar beers with a couple of guest ales. Big screen projector screen had Wakefield vs Warrington on and across all the TV's annoyingly though left the music playing so you couldn't here the comentary.

Not a bad place, much prefer going in the afternoon these days as it's less busy. Beer is good and they have decent offers on spirits and shots (if you like that sort of thing)

7 People for a Saturday afternoon meal. We had to wait 50 minutes for the 1st 4 meals to arrive then another 20 minutes for the other 3 meals to arrive. At no time did any one offer to come and say there were issues i had to go to the bar requesting the last 3 meals. What was also annoying was the last meal to arrive was a ciabatta sandwich which arrived cold. The other hot meals were all fine but the wait was ridiculous I had been there before and recommended the pub to family, very embarrassing.

Very friendly and cozy place, nice selection of drinks including some craft beers. I will definitely go there again!

What a farse went for a Saturday afternoon meal with family I had been before and recommended the pub.Big mistake 7 people in the party we waited 55 minutes for the 1st 4 meals after finishing my meal I asked at the bar were the other 3 meals were . I was told they had another big order to sort but I said you have served 4 out of 7 and one of the meals not delivered was a sandwich which when it arrived was a Cold ciabatta with cold halloumi which came 20minutes later how long did that take to cook Food on the whole was good but the wait was farsical the pub was not that busy. I won’t be using the pub again
