Great food , drinks and service . Really enjoyed the menu …and tried various tapas dishes as well as the steaks .The waiter was extremely helpful with explaining menu and ensuring we had a lovely experience .

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed spending two nights here...if only we had slept better would happily have given our stay five stars. A word of caution to anyone with mobility problems, the steps outside and the stairs inside are steep and challenging: indeed, the higher you climb the narrower and steeper the stairs. This is almost a great hotel: beautifully positioned halfway between the rivewr Dee and the Cathedral, on a busy road with pubs, cafes , bus stops and shops and good eateries very nearby. Recently refurbished,it is smart, attractive and it has friendly, helpful and efficient staff, comfortable lounges, an interesting bar and a pleasant outdoor terrace, Breakfasts were feasts and beautifully cooked and served. Our sole reservation was that we both slept fitfully. We could not fault the decor or the bed but I found the large pillows too hard and perhaps we found it a little too busy/noisy outside as we live in a quiet rural setting. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff for making us welcome and comfortable.

The food was delicious, service excellent (our waiter Josh was great) and plenty of choice. Would highly recommend. Was disappointing that it was a Sat night though and it was very quiet. We were recommended by a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to our friends and family.

Now called 9 mill Street we had a great meal here. Tapas style menu which had a great variety & what a great meal. It was all freshly cooked & its explained that the dishes all come at different times and in no particular order which is good. We had great service too. All 6 of our party are all definitely going back again .

Stunning restaurant and building, modern with Asian fusion delicious food small plates to share, had a lovely meal with family and shared the prawn doughnuts and dumplings are amazing! The staff are really friendly and professional.

TBH not even worth a star. Don’t bother going for a job here it’s a waste of time , it’s very poor management and they are unreliable, I went in for a interview, they had no idea who I was on the day, I had to show them a message to say I had been asked to come in for a interview that day. They kept me waiting 20 mins, and asked me to come back the next day for a trial shift. After the trial I had a interview. A couple of days later they offered me the job, they sent me a form to fill out on my particulars. They had me download a app for there pay system. And then said I would be notified with a email from there .HR was to let me know a start date, an to send the rota through for me. I messaged back after a couple of days later to let them know I’ve not received anything yet. They said you have not been set up on our rota system yet, we will follow it up immediately and get back to you and let you know when to start. So far heard nothing no reply. At least be honest if you have changed your mind about employing me? I’ve turned down other jobs because of this non existent offer. My advice to others is that, do not bother even filling out an application they will just mess you about from start to finish. Since this experience I have spoken to other people also with bad experiences and said to me avoid this place at all costs. Try and apply for a job with another company that’s truthful to you.

Tonight we met for a few drinks.we wanted to prep order for surprise and pay up front. We were told we couldn't do this 🙈 We were put in a dark corner. Out of the way No atmosphere so we went outside, there were no cushions on the chairs outside Disappointed with the whole experience.

Awful customer service, tried to speak to them in regards to an incident that occurred with their untrained, aggressive bouncers when they placed an attack on the person I attended with, when we were leaving to go home. I have requested CCTV but still nothing has been done. I will be going to the trading standards about this unresolved issue as it lead to him being injured:) would not recommend this place, even to my worse enemy :) staff are not helpful in the slightest!

There wasn’t an option for 0 stars unfortunately so 1 is the best they deserve! Wont be returning here.

We call in the town house sometimes on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon the drinks cost £9.50 ..so when we went in Saturday at 7 I was stunned when I was told it would be £22 .then when I refused to pay it it got re done and came to £14 .still £4.50 more then normal..shame as I like it but it's put us off .

Ouch. Horrifically expensive (£5 per measure for a short and £6 pint) and freezing cold inside.

Terrible service! Followed by an 11 minute stay £100 parking fine... As a group of ladies on a night out we planned to start at Townhouse for drinks so my friend Katie looked online and found that we could book a table for drinks (great for us as a party of 6/7). However, upon arrival we parked up and made ourselves known to the guy at the desk immediately and expected to be shown to a table. He very flippantly and rudely said 'that's just for Covid, you cant book tables for drinks anymore' - even though it is a feature on their website? Offered no apology and seemed put out by us. We all went to the bar and as the service was so slow and there wasn't enough bar staff we decided to leave feeling disappointed and annoyed. He clearly saw us leave and wasn't at all concerned. Today, I as the designated driver received a £100 parking fine which can be reduced to £60 for prompt payment for 11 minutes parking. The car park is very badly lit, no signs were visible to 6 of us and no one mentioned to us at all that we had to input any details inside the venue... Terrible customer service that's left a very bad taste and we wont be returning... We have contacted the venue about this the day after and as yet more than a week on they have not responded.

Delicious seafood, and lots of non seafood choice, probably the best food in Nantwich. Friendly helpful service. Ideal for a special meal out. They made my Birthday meal extra special.

Genuinely very disappointed and quite dissatisfied with the manners and etiquette of the staff over the phone regarding a booking here! Will certainly not be dining here in the future, just goes to show the looks of this place can be deceiving but sadly has been let down massively due to the disrespectful staff ! Shameful !

On site parking was available as got there for 6.45. Staff and service all night was superb, very quick, polite knowledgeable and engaging. Food was excellent and also the cocktails, great atmosphere and lovely decor with the new xmas decorations. The surprise of a decorated dessert congratulations on our wedding anniversary which had not been requested was a very nice touch.Will be going back soon.

Fantastic Sunday lunch with superb service

An excellent buffet lunch in beautiful and stylish surroundings. Service could not be faulted. All attending (children to elderly) agreed commented on how pleasant, relaxed and well organised the event was. Will return for further events and to dine.

We were a party of 8 and just happened to find this lovely restaurant. The Sunday lunch was delicious. Beef was lovely and pink. The pork was lovely but stated as roast pork but it was actually belly pork which would not suit everyone. The staff were friendly and very attentive. An excellent find !

Restaurant - We ate here one Friday evening. We had very good service from the Waitress and both the Restaurant and Venue Managers were very attentive. We had a nice chat with them and they told us of their aspirations for the Dining Experience. The Restaurant Manager is certainly someone with lots of valuable experience so hopefully he will make a good impact. We were served lovely fresh bread rolls (just need to remember the butter) at the start of the meal. All of our dishes were good and we had starters, mains and puds between us. The dishes were carefully presented. My only comment would be that my meal could have been hotter - I like my food to be very hot. Overall Venue - On arrival there was a guy playing a keyboard in the bar area - he played mainly middle of the road, easy listening music but it was more reminiscent of something one might hear on a saga coach trip week away. Thankfully he stopped playing at about 9.45pm. Later on there were some roudy people in the bar which I have experienced before here and detracts from the ambience of the lovely restaurant, especially as you have to walk through the bar to get to the restaurant/toilets/entrance/exit. What goes on in the bar definitely impacts the Restaurant. Also, a number of the ladies toilets were out of order. Overall though we had a lovely evening and will definitely visit again.

Where do I start! I’ve eaten at the Townhouse on a few occasions and really enjoyed it so thought we’d try it again when my 90 year old Mum’s sister and family came to stay. I should have been alerted when I tried to book..the phone just went to answerphone so after a week of trying I had to go in in person to reserve a table. Online wouldn’t allow me to book either! So our evening started ok we ordered drinks, bottle of wine plonked on the table. We planned to have mains and desserts. Only 1 other table at this time so all should have been perfect. After some time the main courses came, most were bearly hot but we soldiered on. I was unaware that the Townhouse were also holding an Ibiza Classics bottomless brunch at the same time until the music was cranked up so high no one couldn’t hear the person sitting next to you speak. We then tried to order sweets only to be told after we ordered half the choices were not available. So half of us reordered. Only 2 sweets came…but no spoons so my partner had to get up to get them as there was no one around to ask. We then got 1 more sweet. 3 others never arrived despite us asking numerous times. We spoke to a very young server who told us that there was no management that night and she had been left to cope on her own with a boy who had only started that week! He clearly hadn’t had enough training. The poor girl was close to tears. They knocked the sweets and 20% off the bill which was small compensation for our ruined night. As we left a table asked us if our experience had been as awful as theirs who had been waiting for their food for over an hour! Apparently all tables complained that night from what the server told us. I did give my review directly to the Townhouse and was told that it would be investigated... I wanted to give them a chance to respond but have heard nothing since. So all in all the Townhouse need to either cater for fine dining OR loud bottomless brunch evenings..brunch that ends at 9pm? The 2 do not mix! My advice would be don’t go there for a nice quiet meal at the weekend! Update I contacted the Townhouse as they requested but guess what….they didn’t respond! No surprise!

It was extremely quiet for a Friday evening and we looked to be the only ones booked in for brunch as we were the only ones in the room with the DJ. The service was extremely slow, we had to get up numerous times to find our waitress who seemed to have hid herself round the corner. Bottles of Prosecco were left empty for quite a while and the wait on the cocktails was horrific. The attitude by staff was not anywhere near acceptable either, if you really dislike your job that much & cannot manage to put a front on for paying customers then you really should look into another profession. When we received our bill we then asked for our service charge to be removed as we felt it wasn’t fully deserved, we were then asked to explain why we wanted to remove it from the bill. Won’t be returning for brunch.
