Lovely dog friendly pub,great beers ,worth a visit .

All ways a pleasure to call here, the food is very nice and there is a good selection of drinks on offer. The staff have always been helpful and friendly, it's well worth a visit.

I can't believe I have been coming to Nantwich for years visiting my mum and never been in here now righted that wrong and list if amazing pies to work through . excellent friendly staff 👍 already planned my next 🥧 after staff recommendations Moo & Blue 😍

All ways one of our favourite pubs in Nantwich, enjoy the drinks and the food on offer though limited choice. The staff are always friendly and helpful and allow dogs in, all ways seems to be a good atmosphere in the pub. Keep up the good work.

First time visiting this pub from stoke So friendly when we first entered and so accommodating with our new born cracking place for a beer. They also served food which we didn’t have but look mega what was coming from the kitchen

We needed a break from the Motorway Traffic and stumbled upon a lovely little Pub in the lovely little English town of Nantwich. A Pie and a Pint was the recommended speciality so we demolished a Steak & Kidney and Beef & Stilton Pie with ‘mushy peas’ between us with a Hydes Northern Ale. Nice northern nosh!

Brilliant place , great pie and mash

Great pub with good ales and prices compared to other pubs in Nantwich. However the traditional food menu is very much missed, they used to do a great home made steak pie amongst other food with real chips. Now it's ping pies and mash, presumably to keep kitchen costs down.

Old Google maps showed a better menu options, only pie and mash, owners need to visit London, where pie and mash is done propper. Ale not that special. For a tenner pies are not even homemade.

A great town local pub offering a great range of real ales and food with great service 100%

Pie and a pint with mash and gravy for £10.95 can't beat it. Add mushy peas, cheese or shallots for an extra £1 . We'll worth it.

Give this place a miss. The manager was so rude she deserves the sack. She needs to learn how to speak to customer's. Just started to go back in this pub after not going in for ages. Its OK there is always somewhere else to spend our money. Hope the bosses at Hyde brewery read this.

Fantastic! We stopped here as a group of Bradford City fans away to Crewe. A full selection of Hydes ales and they put us on chilli & chips at a good price. The pub has been kept in the old traditions of the town and we had a ball. thank you very much.

After booking a table for 6 people a month in advance for my dads birthday, I was disappointed to turn up on the busy saturday night (28th Jan) for our 6.30pm booking to be told they havnt got a booking and they only serve until 6pm. I was then informed of another Vine inn at Shavington. We then left with no where to eat and wondering if I had rang the wrong pub. After looking through my recent contacts list on my phone. I had rang the correct number(the one stated on their website) and it also says on their website that they serve foor until 8pm. We then had to walk around nantwich looking for elsewhere to eat on a very busy night.

It's a pub, a friendly town pub, there should more like The Vine.

I have used the Vine on and off for over 50 years and it never seems to change. That is a good thing in this age of continuing change. Obviously they have some digital updates, but the general surroundings are still friendly and compact. A recommended hostelry. Try their Pale Ale on draught. Normally I just choose the least alcoholic lager, but this ale was superb.

Just dropped by for a quick drink with my mum and my 7 year old, ordered drinks and was just in time to order a kid's meal, chicken nuggets and chips , All homemade And generous portion size...would highly recommend this place.. Hopefully in the future they will decide to run food at a later time cause it's very good.

Fantastic collection of Hydes cask ales, and very well kept - well done Dan👍My favourite at the moment is ' Ballad Monger' , a light hoppy and citrus ale at 3.8%. If you are in Nantwich and enjoy your cask ales this place is must.

What a gem this place really is. Fantastic both indoors and outside in the beer garden at the rear of the premises. Excellent choice of beers, lagers and anything else you fancy. Plenty of TV entertainment if you fancy watching the sport both inside and outside under cover. We always receive a warm welcome, dog friendly both inside and out. The staff are a credit to the hospitality industry. Plenty of characters if you fancy a chat. Do yourself a favour and visit. It's places like this that make Nantwich the great town it is.

I was staying at a local hotel and the pub next door to the hotel wasn't serving food, so I took a wander into town. This was my first visit to the town of Nantwich and what a charming place - full of lovely old buildings. I stumbled across The Vine and was delighted to see a range of real ales which were well kept and very drinkable. I got chatting to some locals whilst I was waiting for my food to arrive and was made to feel very welcome. When the food arrived (Steak Mushroom and local ale pie) it was pipng hot, with well cooked vegetables. None of your over microwaved stuff here and the pie was delicious. It's a lovely old building, with lots of space and character and if I return to Nantwich again, I will definitely visit The Vine again.

Decent pub tucked away in Nantwich. The bar staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks are a little expensive and being an old building it can get a bit cramped but they have made a good use of the space especially in the beer garden.

Always friendly warm welcome. Been coming here for a few years now when I have my daughters. Best all round pub in Nantwich in my view. Food is simple, honest good value pub food. Ales are exceptional (esp Lowry) ……don’t ever change anything!

Called in today with friends for a light lunch and wasn't disappointed, very friendly and nice food and drink will definitely call again, really enjoyed a nice afternoon.

Amazing pub and grub staff excellent

Helpful staff, with a good selection of real ales. I had chilli nachos and it was really good. It could be a bit tight as regards the covid problem but I luckily was in during a slightly quiet time.

Absolutely brilliant , are first time to visit this so welcoming bar , everyone was so friendly and made us feel really at home , not only letting us watch our home football town on the TV , but also making our dog really welcome . Will recommend to anyone , and a very big Thankyou xx
