Just called in for a few drinks with some local friends. Always a friendly service and well supported by the local community it seems. It seems to be a venue where local clubs meet as well, but plenty of room for all.

Went for a light lunch was good value and very nice.

Called in to the Miltary Arms for lunch it was lovely freshly made sandwiches salad and chips thank you Laura the coleslaw was amazing xx Please visit for lunch you won t be disappointed

Parked at the pub to reverse my car and got a £60 car fine disguting.

We pop in here for a quick drink after taking our dog for a walk in the evenings sometimes. There is a nice garden at the back or plenty of seating out the front. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the pub, too. Always a friendly atmosphere and the people serving are always nice too.

Ordered food 12.40 knew it would be 25 mins but didn't arrive until 13.20. Curry tasted great but very runny, fish piece of frozen fish and chips not cooked for long enough.

Lovely cold pint of Cruzcampo. Its nice that they serve nuts in a bowl. Beer Garden is a lovely place to sit. All in all a nice pub to enjoy a drink.

Usually call in a couple of times a month. Nice, homely pub with welcoming staff. A great range of cask ales on offer. Can get busy at times but there's plenty of seating outside and in the beer garden at the rear. Regulars seem a friendly bunch as does the dog!

Nipped in on the bank holiday weekend. What a gem! Cracking pint, Landlord on Draught, fair pricing, great atmosphere, lovely decor. Just a good ole pub. Oh and Lily the dog is top! New to the area and we felt right at home immediately, will absolutely be returning.

we were disappointed to receive a parking fine from the Military Arms even though we inputted our registration into the device and have a drink receipt,The pub was very unhelpful in trying to resolve ,please be aware ,the parking charge company are very rude and extremely unhelpful.

We were recommended to visit, and decided to visit for lunch. The decor of the pub, both inside and out, is contemporary but comfortable and welcoming. Good choice of drinks and friendly staff. The food is provided by a caterer called Morrey’s Medleys. At lunch, the menu is quite basic - sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes etc. Around once a month they also offer a Sunday lunch at a very reasonable £12 for two courses, £16 for three. We booked on the spot for the next date. (Booking is essential and a £5 deposit is taken). On that Sunday it was clear that the Sunday roast is very popular. It’s a basic menu with two choices on each course. Husband had home made soup and I had garlic mushrooms as starters. Both home made and delicious. The roast beef was served in a generous portion, with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and veg. A separate serving of gravy was added, which is a nice touch - not everyone wants lots of gravy. The roasties and beef were great. The veg not over cooked. If I had to find fault it was that the gravy was from a packet. When I saw the size of the kitchen, I was amazed that they were able to cater so well! Well done ladies. We will be back.

Went for a pre-organised group breakfast with about 40 people attending. Breakfast - Full English - small or large was excellent value. Lovely staff. Will definitely be returning.

Visited for the first time 22/10/22 superb pub, reasonably priced drinks , great band , excellent bar staff . Emma made us feel welcome and chatted to us....atmosphere was friendly and inviting... if you ever visit Sandbach...this is a must visit pub ...would have given it 6 stars if I could !!!!

Probably Sandbach’s finest pub. Exceptionally well run with friendly staff. Food is provided on site by a third party but is excellent and good value for money. This is a spacious pub with a hidden gem laying in wait… a well maintained garden space with ample seating. Plenty of beers to choose from including a variety of both keg and cask all of which are excellently maintained and served. If you are local and haven’t been, where have you been! If passing through pop in but do check food availability as Morrey’s Medleys are busy! Regular quiz nights, local darts and cribbage teams. A truly class act local pub that welcomes all.

You won't find a more welcoming pub in the town. The staff are accommodating, friendly and enjoy a chat. The beer selection is great and the cleanliness is on point.

The Military arms is a friendly helpful pub with excellent beers and gins and good services. Tina and her staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good visit. Always lots of things going on love the quizzes. They are always going that extra mile to ensure you have all your needs. The Military Arms is a rare gem in the pub world. Not only does it have great, friendly staff, a good selection of beers,wines, gins, food, is always spotlessly clean etc but it has really widespread appeal: younger/older/couples/families/dogs etc - add into the mix catering for all sorts of occasions, special events, quiz nights, music and food specials, loved equally by regulars, pop ins, tourists etc. Managed by a wonderful Mother and daughter team for whom nothing is too much trouble and who are always looking to improve - really proud to call it ‘my local’ - what’s not to love?

We held our 25th wedding anniversary buffet lunch here. As always, staff exceptionally efficient and friendly. Food was perfect and the entire afternoon was fabulous. We are locals and couldn’t recite this more highly. Look out for the regular events such as quiz nights etc.

Great family pub that doesn't change a fortune.

Lovely pub and lovely staff. They went out of their way moving tables and chairs and laying down mats just so we could play darts. Definitely recommend this pub, always friendly service and great atmosphere.

Visiting Sandbach for a week. Was in the Military a few times. Staff always friendly and good atmosphere. Have a son with learning difficulties and was very comfortable with him going in by himself.

Good pub opposite the bus station so able to watch for bus back to the train station. Had a couple of pints of Butty Bach on top form. Was quite busy Saturday teatime.

Fantastic pub. Very clean, Great well kept cask ales and a fantastic young lady behind the bar- Emma I believe is her name. Give this place a go - They even have Oakham Citra and I believe Rat Brewery White Rat when available.

This pub is, quite simply, one of the most hospitable in Sandbach and the choice of beers is amongst the best too. The hosts have done a great job creating a vibrant atmosphere and, justly, improved the number of people using it. Its mot often you can find a town cente pub with the genuine feel of a local pub.

This pub used to be a bit of a dive and not somewhere I’d have visited but it’s recently changed hands and was recommended to me. It was great. Lovely new decor, great selection of ales, gins and other spirits beautiful beer garden at the back, I felt like I was in someone’s personal garden, it was gorgeous. Will definitely be going back. Can’t wait to see what the offer as summer turns to winter. A great addition for Sandbach.

Lovely pub we go in on a Friday or saturday for last orders they have a lovely beer called Butty Batch and a Gin called The Spirit of George my hubby's name and that's nice lovely people who run it

The pub is absolutely brilliant. Great beer garden in the sun and lots of shade available too under the gazebo. All staff are friendly and attentive.

A night out with my son newly 18. Allowed to take food into the pub on this occassion with prior landlady approval. Good beer pleasant friendly atmosphere. I've always liked this pub and will be extremely happy when restrictions are lifted. Roll on vaccination

Smashing local pub, Friday night in the Military is one of life's great pleasures.

Went in for something to eat and they had only got sausage casserole, it came in a paper dish with 2 tiny pieces of stale bread and wooden knife and fork. Never again never tasted anything so bad.

Fabulous place. Had a lovely chilli tonight. Covid protocols all in place and adhered to. Support local. Tina, Emma and team are pulling out all the stops to get us back in please support them xx
