The best restaurants serving Default food in Pilkington Park Bury North West

Our usual Tuesday meet up. Great people, laughs all the way.

We booked a table for seven. Four of us arrived at 6pm and asked if we could wait for our guests in the bar. We gave our drinks order to the waiter upon which a waitress arrived and told us that we were late for our 6pm table. It was in fact booked for 6.30. From then on the waitress scowled at us continuously, stomping around us, and asking us to go to our table. Our drinks remained on the bar. The food was terrible, service worse and the atmosphere dire. We used to go here regularly and always had a great experience but we will not be returning.

Excellent service and food. Very professional and friendly staff. Would recommend highly I asked for a sqaure pizza and I got one!!! Absolutely fantastic place

Food was poor and not very warm rice was clumpy Meal tasted like congealed butter Poor service.. 8 of us and we were continually served from only one end of table and asked to pass down food / drinks etc Specifically requested a glass of Sauvignon blanc and was clearly served cheap house wine Such a shame as the restaurant has such a lovely setting

We rang to ask if we could bring our own wine to be told they have a fully stocked bar with that we took it as a no. When we arrived we ordered £23 wine while watching other tables bring their own wine in!! We had a table booked for 7.30pm and the restaurant was deserted…. We did question why! The chicken shawarma was tasteless and had plenty of grit in it. The kofta kebab was better but probably unseasoned. When we were asked how the meal was I did politely give the feedback and the waiter said thank you!!!!! Please save your money and go to Prestwich for a Lebanese cuisine done to much higher standard.

Visited here on a wet & windy December day, after our original choice turned out to be closed. A blessing in disguise, you could say. With no one else present, we did have initial reservations, but these soon disappeared with the friendly staff welcome. Food was fresh and tasty, even accommodating our off menu requests. Then there was the coffee, forget your “hearts” on the top, they do bunnies 🐰

I ordered a cannelloni which I normally enjoy but this time I didn't it was dry...the waiter was very friendly and when I told him he asked me if I would like a other. .I said no as it would have taken too long. I struggled to finish..when another waitress asked if all was OK I told her and she went to tell the manager and she refused to do anything as I had eaten half...I didnt want to course a commotion as they were very friendly except the manager...I have eaten there before nor sure I will again.

Food was nice, everyone was polite but they couldn't cope with a big group it got a bit heated with the bill. I've been twice now in a large group and it was the same both times. I'd go back but as a two.

Cheap and tasty and quality able meal.

So glad we popped in here. I needed to feed two children fairly quickly as we had an appointment but needed the children to have tea. Gave the pub a call just to check they had a children’s menu which they had. We walked in to a very nice bar man who was very helpful and got our order taken quickly. Was helped with high chair, getting extra cutlery and making sure we had everything we needed. The food came and the children were delighted with what they got. The lovely lady waiting on was also lovely and the children thought so even more when she came with the ice cream lollies. Lovely atmosphere and very lovely people. thank you so much

I watched the flies in the pastry/cookie/muffin Manchester Arndale display and decided against purchasing. I mentioned to a member of staff that there are flies in the display and he told me ‘too bad’ Unbelievable attitude.

Food is always delivered quickly, always nice and hot and absolutely delicious. We always order the kebabs and they are great value as you got such a lot.
