The best restaurants serving Default food in Blackburn with Darwen North West

Reassuringly and consistently disappointing, so much so our most recent visit to the store will be the last. I understand M&S have had to undertake cost cutting measures, so the store and business stay alive, but it's really noticeable with every visit, less and less of the good M&S is visible. I know businesses do need to change, but the store is a mile away from the core values M&S had. Especially the cafe , the cost cutting is far too noticeable.... regardless if they are reducing the things they need to wash ( probably so they can do without an extra person employed) but impacting the environment using disposable products instead. Very short sighted

Fantastic family run pub. Great selection of real ales. Great atmosphere, a place where you can enjoy time with family or friends and socialise. Great outdoor beer garden area which is fantastic on a sunny warm day. Lovely staff, great beer!

Delicious takeaway. Massive portions, clean and quick, very impressed. Pizzas burgers kebabs and extras

A great place for quality food at a fair price. Cath keeps the place spotless and serves you with a friendly smile. Call in or have your order delivered , you won't be disappointed 10/10

Beautiful country pub - go for a walk on the West Pennine Moors then have some food and drink and a warm welcome

We fancied having a restaurant dinner and decided to stop in here. The staff greeted us as soon we came in. Great service and children friendly. Food was great and hot as it came. Will definitely come here again.

Would not recommend going here. Me my husband and my daughter went for some food. My husband's food came out and it was cold. I ordered a steak and asked for it rare. It came out and it wasn't cooked it was cold and still raw. Absolutely terrible!!

We visited for lunch around 1pm. The restaurant was clean but fairly busy. Our little one played in the play area and the staff were great with her as she is only 1. The manager, Adam, was very courteous and took the time to explain our menu option. We ordered from lunch deal menu. Adam served us our food within 10 minutes of ordering and he also checked how our food was and if he could get us anything else. Overall, we felt very welcomed and would recommend and would visit again.

Had lunch today at the Buttlers , the food was superb , hot and nicely presented . The place had a great atmosphere, comfortable seats and was warm and inviting . All meals came from the kitchen on hot plates by very good staff . Would highly recommend the Buttlers arms for service , quality and value . Well done In total 16 cousins reunion all gave it 5 star rating . .

Back off holiday, hungry! Tuesday around 6:45pm. Quite busy, different groups of people in. Good menus, different schemes of choice. We shared a fabulous bacon, black pudd starter & both had the £12 f, c & m peas! Brilliant! Neither of us could finish! Staff brilliant! About £55 with a couple of drinks!

Our first time visiting san carlo and it was absolutely delicious.The service was excellent- everyone was so lovely!! Gaz especially was so happy to help and make sure everything was perfect (even when I accidentally ordered a dish with meat as a vegetarian- he quickly fixed this for me.) Will definitely be back 😊

Absolutely terrible , booked 3 days in advance for lunch needed have bothered arrived on time no one else in the establishment! To us says a lot going with instinct we should have left , however we gave it the benefit of the doubt..2 minutes later 2 other people arrived . We sat nearby the window to savour the views bear in mind it’s still “winter” and unbelievably so inside as we sat in our overcoats as it was as much freezing inside as it was out ! The waitress came took our orders for drinks very pleasant girl , very efficient but from then on went further downhill after drinks were served she took our food orders my other half ordered the hake dish , myself just the fish & chip offer as no other meal appealed ..one hour later no sign of food ..no apologies for delay etc again we were contemplating asking for the bill for just the drinks ,by this time 3 other patrons had arrived ordered drinks & food which were delivered well before ours ! 1 hour & 5 minutes ours arrived ..the hake was served supposedly on “ crushed roast potatoes “ with buttered beans and creamy tomato sauce ..I wished at this point I had taken a photo all I can describe it it was a bowl of mush , I myself had the most greasy fish & chips I have ever encountered sadly we both left our meals I have to note not once did ant of the catering or bar staff asked if everything was ok , I think in my opinion they were too embarrassed to sum in all in a nut shell will not be returning .
