Service is a little slow at times but food is lovely and a great price. Lack of parking is a drawback.

Chicken tikka wrap was rubbish! Went straight in bin. Wasn’t even proper chicken tikka some cheap rubbish which looked like been picked up from Asda or Morrisons. And to top it off don’t even have chilli or garlic sauce. Won’t be wasting money here again

It was just OK, not too good, not too bad.

Our experience at Chaii Wala was great. Customer service from Maryam Shakeel was excellent. The service was fast and food was tasty. The area was clean and i felt welcomed.

Chaiwala is the best place to go for kadak chai & kadak coffee & kashmiri pink chai is so good too. Lots of snacks available & the chocolate chai mousse is to die for. Lots of cold drinks & hot drinks available & the street food will take you back to your home country. Karachi bun kebab & Halwa puri from pakistan. Masala egg masala chips & pav bhaji & aloo paratha from india. & lots of other street foods to try. Falooda & mango falooda are awesome. The interior is very nicely decorated with lots of nice pics of india too. A great place to hang out with your family & friends for mouth watering chatpata snacks & drinks you will love & enjoy whatever the occasion

I regularly visit ChaiiWala and like the tea and snacks generally. However on this unfortunate day I visited Blackburn. Clear lack of customer service and no pre-warning of wait times. Kebab was overcooked and hard, paratha not toasted properly. If I was a mystery shopped via MarketForce they would scrape 60%. Franchisor should think about ensuring standards are met. I have yet to go to any store where I would give 100%.

The cheesecake was ok but too much rose flavouring in the cake. Coffee was nice though

I visited chai wala in Blackburn and the service was great and sat inside and enjoyed my Karak chai. The young lady that served me was very pleasant and just want to mention Mansurah you are a great asset to the company and keep up the great work.

First time visiting the Blackburn branch and was served by a very well mannered employee. He recommended a couple of things which I ended up purchasing and enjoyed quite a lot. Didn’t catch the employees name but I asked another person at the till and he said he was the assistant manager of this branch. 10/10 experience.

The best thing about this place was they offered to make a tea that wasn't on their menu. They also don't have music playing in the background which is a huge plus for us. Thanks and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless you with barakah, Ameen.

Salam ,,from morning I am looking for breakfast, the way he serve me is totally wrong ,,but acceptable…main point ,,I call the manager and the person who deal with me his name aaman ..direct I ask him I need to contact with your manager and he refuce to give me manager contact detail..that’s why I am writing I review on google ,,my complain is only that which paper you are using to serve customers ..if you put parata on it the ink on paper melt and it’s very dangerous for human being ..I am not posting video right now ..but if someone not contact me I will post after..

Decent food and tea. No professionalism from staff. The young staff having their own “private” conversations loudly using profanity in earshot of all customers and kids. So much second hand embarrassment 🤦🏽‍♂️

I have not tried many things on the menu. But I really like the mini doughnuts and karak chai. Tried rose chai as well which I loved very much. Rest of the things don't matter much to me as I prefer to make them at home. The chai however tastes very unique from what one can pull at home and that is always worth a dash down this place. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

This wasn't good. I ordered the mini donuts and I got stomach aches and vomiting. Also they had a weird taste maybe thay were expired? I dont really know. Overall dont recommend.

Honestly, I have never experienced such bad service from a food place. There was 4 of us who ordered, firstly the food came out extremely late, we waited for ages. When we went up to the counter lady to ask when it'll be ready, she only then proceeded to tell us that half the food we ordered was unavailable as they didn't have it in stock. This was beyond frustrating as we had already been waiting for ages and she didn't use her initiative to tell us? Next, after changing our order, the food came out one by one, over a long time period, and was really cold. To top it off, some of the components within our order were missing!!! We actually had to tell the counter lady to stop serving other people in the queue, when people like us who had already been waiting for ages hadn't even got our orders, so why take on more when you can't even complete orders of already waiting customers??? Makes no sense. The counter lady showed no initiative in general. She then even forgot our drinks and we had to remind her. Overall, the service was shocking, there was no organisation, no proper customer service or an apology and the food was very basic. I wish I had read reviews of this place before I came. Otherwise had I read the reviews, I wouldn't have had to experience this myself. Ridiculous. Never coming here again and also warning people of this place. Seriously, dont waste peoples money. Its unfair and upsetting. Ps, I initially thought why are little children serving and running the kitchen from what I saw. But then again, mylahores has many young workers, yet they seem organised and provide a good customer service.

I was served by Mansura, it was my first time visiting the Blackburn branch and she was so friendly, polite and professional! I will definitely be returning to Chai wala after the excellent service received from her ☺️

AMAZING!!! tried the desi breakfast and was flat out the best ive had in ages. Very affordable £8.50 which includes a karak chaii, 2 shana parathas a delicious omelette with choice of onions, cheese, tomatoes 🍅 an chillis 🌶 Also get a portion of daal, beans or channay I went for the channay and was simply devine. The place is booming in the morning alot of custom an the service is decent. Parking can be around the back on the streets and in'sha'allah will definately be back if ever in the blackburn area.

Nice place, nice feel, I pre-ordered the Desi Breakfast which was nice. I thought it might have been to spicy but it wasn't. I had the Dahl with the omelette. Parking was a bit of an issue. I would go again and try more of the menu. The menu image online shows the breakfast as £4.50, that's from 5 years ago. It's now £7.50. Nice food would go again.

I have had to change my rating as the past few orders have not been satisfactory. I ordered Desi breakfast and paid an extra £2 for lamb bacon you can see In picture what I received .can’t believe they actually put that in the tray and thought it’s acceptable.. KQF next door sell the whole pack of lamb bacon strips for £3😂.

I ordered food today. The paratha was like 4 bites, their large size drink looks small, this puri I ordered with halwa is rock hard. Overly priced. Horrible.

My recent visit to Chaiiwala left me quite disappointed. The service, particularly from the manager Faiza, was far from what I expected. Faiza's attitude was less than welcoming, and her approach to customer service was lacking. It's unfortunate to say that I wasn't happy with the overall experience. Based on this visit, I wouldn't be quick to recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

Went here today after the place being recommended by my aunty. I seriously do not rate this place. The pink tea was soo watered down and the karak chai was sour. Staff were not aware of what they were doing. Half of us had got our food and had finished it before the rest of the party and the tea arrived after we had all ate. Worse thing is it wasn’t like it was busy they had 3 tables

Lovely place for Karak Chai. Very nicely decorated with good seating and the chai is equivalent to what you'll get in the Middle East.

Ordered Breakfast the Pratha was not what I expected it was hard and breaking off easily. Not smooth as I usually have it. The Chana were very oily and I was overcharged slightly but I didnt complain as expected breakfast to be nice. I wont be coming here anytime soon to eat.

Nice tea, good options for cakes & sandwiches, no parking, loud (not good if you're looking for a quite cup of tea, forget it!). Still the same we asked for ice tea and came hot tea! Response was ive never made it.

Tea is the only best thing, food wise chai wala products are average no wow factor, very commercialised food items, if u after main meal or snacks then there are better alternatives, tea is the best got to and service for tea is fast allover

They need to arrange heating system in there its freezing cold also their furniture is uncomfortable and they staff is not properly dealing with customers as well

Hit and miss. Sometimes its great, other times its atrocious. Depends on who is working I guess.

The Masala chips were above average, crispy yet tender nevertheless more than enjoyable to eat however the sauce could have been more spicy and less like tomato soup. The Aloo paratha surpassed all expectations. It was well filled with soft and smooth potato garnished with an array of spice, leaving an after taste of the motherland ‘Pakistān’. However a very cold day it was, and I just wish the heating was at a comfortable temperature.

An absolutely fantastic experience had by staff and pupils from the TIBHS Enrichment department. Staff at Chaiiwala went above and beyond to make the pupils feel welcome and provide a life experience that they can learn from whilst making it fun. An extra shout out to ADAM for catering to all our needs - you went above and beyond. Jzk

We were served by the most charming lady, Zaynab, the food was all amazing and all on her recommendation. Then when the bill came it was truly brilliant value for money. Can't recommend it enough.

Nice place. Desi breakfast is always s crowd pleaser with a choice of extras. I would have given 5 stars, however their pakoras weren't great. Pretty tasteless and very greasy so I'd stay away from that. However, majority of the other items were decent 👍

Chaiwalla blackburn. Worst service ever. Never answer the phone. Go in and just watch them pissing about ignoring calls. If it wernt for my wife wanting their cheese roti and butter chicken roll i wouldnt even look in this direction. Prefer cha cha chai and cafe chaii over this S#!t

Worst experience ever. A mental guy came in and harassed every customer for 20 mins and the staff didn't move an inch. It wasn't a nice first experience at all for my family. I hope this doesn't happen in the future!

AWFUL. Absolutely awful. I keep wondering why this business is running still and every time I go, I fail to see why. I gave benefit of the doubt today, went in for their "mango and passionfruit frappe" and I am severely disappointed, painfully even. It was literally greek yoghurt, ice and sugar? with one pump of whatever syrup they gave? and it was £4? not even a full cup was given? robbing people of their money for absolutely POOR quality items. stop going there fgs, you're wasting your time, energy and money.

Extremely slow service the server did not acknowledge customers or smile when serving. Food was below standard and not made fresh and overly priced. We waited for 45 mins for food to arrive. I do not recommend this place.

I am a blooger. I don't have any issue with food, or cleaning every thing is perfect. (But) yes there is a big but only i have issue with the services its take ages to get my breakfast on my table. My first visit to chaiwala & 100% will be my last .. the food tasted like it was made a week ago & just heated. The pav bhaji had absolutely no taste & the chicken tikka was hard, rubbery, and tasted like it had been cooked days ago.. the chips were cold & had a load of ketchup poured over the top. I was so disappointed after spending nearly £20 & did not touch any of it. Your standards are way below expected & you really do need to sort this out. The worst experience ever & I will not be returning. Was my first & last visit

I don't think anything is fresh. The paratas/roti they serve are frozen asian store paratas which i also have in my freezer for lazy days. I ordered a chicken naan, it was the same price as a chicken naan from any takeaway but the naan was Very Very Small in size compared to others and hard and wonky And i didn't like the taste of the chicken. I went with my 2 children and we waited 45 minutes to receive our food.

I ordered on Deliveroo at 11:30, it is now currently 1pm and it still isn’t here. I have tried calling them multiple times to see where the order is at however they didn’t pick up. This is unacceptable and i will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed!!

This is an incredible Chaiiwala Branch. The best I have ever been to. It is so popular, it often caused the blackade of Whalley Range as cars pile up outside to grab a quick cuppa. There is seating for 20 people, ample free parking nearby and fantastic food options. The staff here are switched on, they are on the pulse. They make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much effort for them. The omelette wrapped in a chapati was my favourite. The desi breakfast and desi tea was absolutely superb. The best indian breakfast I have had in Blackburn. Salim Patel

Every single time I try phone in a order the don’t pick up absolute wast of time do t bother to phone them just walk in and place a order food is brilliant can’t complain staff are friendly and counter service very good just the phone order service let’s them down

Appalling service provided waited 30 mins for my order only then to receive half of it. Had to tell her that i needed more of my order even though she had the receipt in front of her. Staff are not even bothered about customers have alot of attitude. Very slow service

Over a year ago I gave this place 4 stars. Today I'm taking that back and giving it a 1 star. So much issues with sending out wrong orders, then sending out part order and having to chase several times to try to get the order correct. At the end we gave up and left. Will not be returning to this place again!

Being a regular customer of the Blackburn shop I popped in tonight to get my usual purchase of a chai latte & some parathas. The parathas arrived within ten minutes so no issues there, however forty minutes later I find that I am still sat here waiting for my brew to arrive, & rather oddly, the shop is relatively quiet so there is absolutely no excuse for the staff to forget my brew. This isn’t the first time as an eat-in customer that the staff seem to forget to complete my order despite the fact that they have a fully electronic ordering system with printouts of their orders stuck to a wall.

Paid over 9 pounds for halwa Puri new with very small portions and took them nearly half hour to bring us the food which to be honest was not great. Puri was more like papadom. And the guy who was taking everyone's orders didn't seem helpful.

the pink tea is delicious but there kebab roll made me physically sick it was store bought frozen roti heated up took 25 minutes over priced for something that should have cost no more than a £1 i have extensive experience in takeaways and restaurant businesses.

Decent tea for the price. Wish they had sugar free kadak chai as well.

Updated: 14th July 20201 - Went at 10:30am for breakfast, didn't get served till 11:20am, they need more staff. People were walking away after waiting in queue, not even lunch time! Dropped down to 2 stars. Nicely styled small eatery in Blackburn alongside the hundreds of others. Clever name and the decor is modern, kept clean and tidy. Only had the chai, which was nice and traditional just the way I like it. Staff were great and great service reciev8ed. No issues at all.

Its such a busy place during morning times and they have only 2 staff on! Hence the delays!
