Brewers Fayre in Blackburn with Darwen

Thought I should write a review it’s not the first visit here with my grandchildren and won’t be the last, the food here is kind of what you’d expect and definitely value for money, the customer service is fantastic and the play area is perfect to entertain the nippers.

Met up here with friends for lunch and drinks. The staff are really friendly. Love the comfy chairs and relaxing atmosphere. Quick service . Nothing too much trouble.

Had a fantastic and relaxing Saturday night at the oahenhurst farm the food and service was spot on will definitely be coming back 👍

We visited for lunch around 1pm. The restaurant was clean but fairly busy. Our little one played in the play area and the staff were great with her as she is only 1. The manager, Adam, was very courteous and took the time to explain our menu option. We ordered from lunch deal menu. Adam served us our food within 10 minutes of ordering and he also checked how our food was and if he could get us anything else. Overall, we felt very welcomed and would recommend and would visit again.

Went today was here at 5.45 for carvery but it was finished all though there was food left had to go for something else but was a struggle due to poor menu must fool as cheese on which I can't eat so I had a choice of 3 options not good when it is expensive for a cheap pub won't be going for a very long time until something changes

The best thing about this place is FRED He is always happy and friendly, always gives great service. The food is decent as you’d expect, play area is great bonus 👍

This Brewers Fayre is fantastic. Always a great family atmosphere for food and drinks. All the staff are amazing and always go the extra mile to ensure your visit is pleasurable. Special mention for Jen who now feels like family.

Staff were really friendly and helpful (two of our party only wanted the veg on a roast dinner so they just charged for a kids roast - lad said he couldn’t justify charging £12 for just veg - great service!) Food was good value, nothing to write home about but it did the job nicely. It was all hot and fresh, just what you would expect from a Brewer’s Fayre. Play centre could do with a really good clean. The floor on the toddler area is really grey and there was debris and fluff all over.

Great place for the kids while the adults take an hour out. Thank you to the brilliant staff for making it a fun evening, big shout out to Fred!

Been using the place for a week whilst visiting a poorly family relative in BRI. On day 7 and the lovely Jen - kindly asked how we were and noted that we’d been “up north” for a while and said we could have breakfast on the house ! Had breakfast on Saturday 19th January at Oakenhurst Farm lower Darwen. It was a family reunion and the entire family mentioned the young lady who welcomed us. I went out of my way to find out her name because I just had to give a mention to the very engaging young lady called Lucy . To be so heartily welcomed and made to feel like we were regulars was so unexpected and really made our two young children’s day. The only reason we come here is for Fred and jen! Great customer service already. The restaurant is clean and cosy. The carlings are the best in Darwen as oakebhurst offer chilled glasses.
