The best restaurants serving Default food in Riverside North Tyneside North East

I have visited Darcies a number of times now with my Nanna who might I add swears by this place. They always treat her and her friend like royalty and always go the extra mile to make sure they are both happy! All of the food there is home cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. I’ve had the Yorkshire pudding wrap multiple times and it never disappoints potions are huge and good value for money. Lisa and the rest of the staff are lovely! There’s no doubt that she knows exactly what she is doing. I will happily be returning to Darcies and can’t wait to try the chicken nuggets my nanna raves about!

We love Hotel Chocolat and we’re excited that there was an outlet that served drinks and Ice Creams. We were not disappointed, from the service to the drinks and ice creams it was very very delicious. I had the billionaire sundae which was to die for.

Can’t fault Joes for value for quality of food, service and value for money. £10 2 course meal on a Saturday night and £2.20 for a large glass of wine - can not complain. Decor needs a revamp and restaurant itself was a bit cold, the staff were serving in coats and body warmers! But other than that, well worth a visit.

We stay here on a regular basis. It’s always lovely and clean and the staff are always very helpful and polite. Just booked another stay.

I’ve ordered from here quite a lot and everything I’ve had has always been fine. Never any complaints. Order online then go and collect at a time that suits me.

STAY AWAY Wouldn't eat here if my life depended on it , live nearby and regularly see 10+ rats a day because of the illegal waste dumping , have turned the rats into a photography project , owner shouted at me for confroning him about the rats then made threats to call the police on me as if I had done something wrong , behind the takeaway Is a very problematic area for people injecting and smoking drugs and you can't even walk back there without worrying about getting pricked by a sharp , STAY AWAY

Had lovely food again. Service was much better this time (no plate clearing before everyone was done)

Lovely warm atmosphere and the food options for vegetarian is great! The vegetable frittata is delicious!! I’d have taken a photo but I ate it too quickly 😁

Its not changed at all apart from the lush jukebox has gone. If you went 20 years ago its untouched brilliant blast from the past. Remember to switch your phone off!

If this is only going to be a sports bar and only over 18s allowed it'll end up shutting because everyone goes there for breakfasts meals and Sunday dinners.. pretty devastating
