Excellent from start to finish, lovely staff, incredible spread for my nanas 80th birthday today! Couldn't have asked for any more, thankyou so much again!

Just been for festive afternoon tea with 3 friends & thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious & staff very helpful and welcoming. Excellent value for money - we highly recommend it.

We stopped in here instead of opting to eat on the Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry. Brilliant move as the fish and chips (cod) were outstanding. I'm a bit picky about fish and chips in general as we get very fresh fish over on the West Coast of Scotland. Longsands massively delivered as the fish was really fresh and the chips excellent. Food was on the table very promptly and the serving staff were super friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest perhaps but for such quality it is a no brainer. Also opted for the curry sauce which was also excellent. Would definitely do this again prior to paying £25 each on the ferry for very medicore food. The bill for 4 of us was only £65 at Longsands!!!

Pizzas were good but the chicken bordelaise, think the chef forgot the red wine and added gravy browning instead not a good eat at all

Love this place, I'm normally really picky but had the bubble and squeek vegan breakfast and was very impressed..gorgeous little cafe and friendly staff
