The best restaurants serving Default food in Snaresbrook Redbridge London

As ever, great value, good cafe food, huge selection with even bigger plates... Be hungry when you dine. Staff, as ever, bright and happy to help... Nothing seems too much trouble. Nice, covered outdoor area as well. The closest plate is a mixed grill, around £9 and Dad's was a small mixture.

There was a lovely range of food options, fresh eggs being brought out regularly and someone behind the deck offered to do me scrambled eggs fresh. I was really pleased with the staff and how helpful and attentive they were.

Terrible food, horrible dark atmosphere - there was 2 members of staff - the younger one was ok the older one had an attitude kept on staring and whispering, not friendly, or welcoming and created a bad atmosphere. ordered eggs on toast , ( not much on the menu to choose from) Couldn’t eat the snotty eggs or the thick stale tough dry bread. Others couldn’t eat what they ordered, food definitely not up to standard. Did initially order scrambled eggs. Staff came back saying they only do scrambled eggs on weekends? Really? Lol- ( chef couldn’t be bothered) How long does it take to scramble eggs? Didn’t bother to complain to staff, would have been a waste of time, ( hence the honest review )and didn’t want to sample any other stale badly cooked food, so just left the uneaten nasty food, that should have spoken volumes. Party of 4 said they definitely wouldn’t return. Very disappointing. I should have listened to my instinct's, and left immediately, but at least we can warn others now.

Great pub in Wanstead, currently leased as part of the whetherspoons group but being sold it owner. Hopefully it'll stay a great local pub.

Excellent food and great selection of beers . Located conveniently near Wanstead Station so perfect meeting point to catch up with friends.

Coffee was always a bit ‘hit and miss’, but hit an all time low last Monday. Scalding hot, so picking up the glass it was in, was dangerous. The replacement coffee I asked for, was like flavoured water and still very hot. Yet another coffee shop in Wanstead where it is safer to have the teabag.

My partner and I have visited The Lane several times for takeaways or a relaxed meal. This evening we shared a lovely lamb bhuna and a delicious chicken korma with spinach, potatoes and cauliflower. The food was simple but excellent quality and beautifully prepared. Prices are very reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is more spacious than it looks from outside. Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed most things we had and found the staff to be of an ok level people. Prices are not too bad and clean cutulry and table. Would recommend for a evening meal.... If helpful please tick the box below. Ta

Tuve supone una encantadora cena aquí la semana pasada. La comida era deliciosa, el cordero era el servicio tan tierna y muy amable. ayudó el hecho que fue una agradable velada y poder comer fuera. El gerente vino y habló con nosotros al final para comprobar que todo estaba correcto. Precios muy razonables y no me puedo quejar.

we visited this cafe for a week, we were visiting our son, but just having a new baby could not accommodate us, he told us of a few cafes on the high street, but as we walked past they did not advertise breakfast and looked very upmarket, we came across Chicchi near the end of the high street and decided to give it a go, staff very friendly, food cooked to order, nothing was too much trouble, we tried one of the other cafes for a light breakfast, we were not impressed, we have told our son about this cafe, he hadn’t realised it was there, we will be back on our next visit.

Vetrina con molti dolci dal bell'aspetto, anche la colazione all'inglese era molto buona. Apple crumble da provare. Anche il personale è stato molto gentile. Promosso!

The WORST possible service ever and to give it a 1/5 is not worth that. I ordered online for food to be delivered for 18:15 it came an hour late and the staff had the AUDACITY to argue with me. They even delivered an item wrong. Numerous time we had to call them. And all we got was a half hearted apology, and NO refund. They asked for a second chance and that they would give us 50% off our next order. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM HERE.

Last night friends and I attended G’s Halloween Pub Quiz and it was the best evening out! The staff always go above and beyond to make the experience worthwhile, while assisting those with additional needs, making sure the pub is accessible to all. I cannot thank them enough!
