The best restaurants serving Default food in Cranbrook Redbridge London

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. We ate at Herman Turkish yesterday — the chicken and lamb shish tasted off and clearly wasn’t fresh. By this morning, we were suffering from diarrhoea due to food poisoning. We called the restaurant to inform them, but they got extremely defensive and offered no apology or compensation. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with health and safety authorities. Think twice before risking your health here.

Manager is terrible , however workers were exceptional . Would not recommend not organised no control over situations that could occur

I sometimes get my late night takeaway here. After pub, or drive to. Lovely hot wings, chicken burgers. Clean place, friendly staff.

I was in the Pret in South Mimms service centre and asked for a tea with hot milk. Not only did the Indian girl Aishwarya provide me with a lovely cuppa but also brought me extra milk in the side to my table after asking if I wanted any. Small things over and above the jobs worth that make us come back. Give her a raise.

We booked Wah Bey for iftaar and were told when pre-booking that we could place our food order in advance so it would be ready on time. Since we were running a bit late, this seemed perfect. But when I called to give our order, I was told that wasn’t possible and was reassured that they’d have dates, water, and pakoras ready for us to open our fast. There were nine of us fasting, and when we arrived, the staff were friendly (though it was just one person was serving everyone). But we never got the pakoras or dates, and the water they gave us was charged at £2-£3 a bottle. The samosa chaat was really good but the main platter itself wasn’t great. Some of it was undercooked, and unfortunately all of us ended up with bad stomachs afterward. We ordered Gaajar Halwa for my friend’s birthday because they ran out of cake. The Halwa was oily and only 2 spoons were taken from it. Wouldn’t come back unfortunately. Food was on point when I came 2/3 years ago :(

The food is really nice and lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the service are not welcoming when you enter/ leave not a single bye. The staff should at least asked if you need anything but instead we had ask for extra chutney, extra tissues on table, get up and ask for the bill and get up again ask for a doggy box. They have no eye contact / no communication so we were getting up and walking to kitchen area to speak to them. There staff definitely need to be more welcoming and friendly and they should provide additional training to their staff serving the food.

Good Turkish food - good for grills It gets busy at dinner times with families and friend groups which probably is the best way to enjoy this place. The bread is delicious. Quite a few vegetarian dishes but suggest you ask for the Tomato gravy on the side and add to your taste. Good Job

Zeeshan was the delivery driver and he came on time and was really nice

Food arrived cold despite not being located far, had no flavour and dry, vegetables of low quality tasting bland, the sauce dips where watery and the humus tasted off so unfortunately I have chucked this in the bin. How does one mess up a chicken wrap, it's so simple to make. Never again
