American themed sports cafe with decent decor & service. Rack of ribs & chicken wings were yummy. Good place for a halal option.

We ordered their peri peri chicken roast and it was loved by the entire family. Their doner kebab was lovely and had chips with it... Recommended for fast food.

El servicio muy lento. Estado esperando aquí durante más de 30 minutos para tres cosas. Parecen ser prioridad los pedidos por teléfono en los clientes que están de pie allí en frente de ellos. No iremos de nuevo.

Sólo he pedido el doner kebab de estos chicos (tanto el cordero y el pollo) y me gusta el hecho de que prepararlo en el estilo teppenyaki, que básicamente es re-fritos el doner con cebollas, pimientos y salsa de chili en un calientaplatos. Sin duda da un poco la carne doner añadido de oomph en sabor. Usted tiene la opción de tener se sirve con patatas fritas o pan naan esponjosas. Ambos complementan el doner realmente bien. Cheap and cheerful but at the same time quality gourmet burgers! You can get a double 8oz gourmet beef burger, with chips and drink under £5. They accept cards payment too which is great or you can use one of the eating ups and order before you arrive. Not many seats inside the shop, so ideal more for takeway. However if u do choose to sit down inside, there is a screen to watch footie or cricket etc. Would highly recommend, i go quite often as they never fail to dissapoint.

This place does mice takeaway. Does doners, doner rolls, burgers, etc. I personally like the grilled wings meal. Really good value!

This is my local and that's the main reason I go back. The burgers are pretty bland. I tend to stick to lamb doner they mix it up with peppers and chilli sauce and that usually gives it good flavour. The reason I'm hesitant is because it's nothing special just your run of the mill kebab joint. The service behind the counter is hit and miss, all I can say is good luck if you get the bearded bloke serving you he's clueless will forget your order or mix you up with some other customer. Advice to management: stick him in the back office somewhere chopping onions and peeling potatoes!

Good local take away, but let down by inconsistent quality and poor service, too many people behind the counter falling over themselves and arguing in front of customers makes for good entertainment but inefficient and mistakes in orders happen too often

This place is a must visit. The food is cooked to order and the staff were friendly. Had chicken burger, but all other stuff, including chicken tikka and kebabs looked tasty. For what you pay, you can't moan. Well done fat joes!

I have eaten here twice and am quite angry. The first time they soaked my donner in sauce even though I told them no sauce. I rang them they said sorry and made a new one, but still a waste of time and annoying. The second time ordered a grilled burger and chicken wings and told them 3 times no sauce and no spices as I can not eat hot food.. get home to eat and it's very chilli and wings have sauce on them. Very disappointed as was so hungry . Would not recommend

Fat Joes is one of the few places in Ilford that serves HMC certified Lamb Donor, if not, the only place. I've never had any problems with the staff, always friendly and accommodating. The food tends to be good when they are busy! If you go there first thing you are likely to get over crisped oily chips or reheated donor meat whereas during the lunch and evening time rush, the oil vat is on full heat and some other poor customer has been given the day old donor meat. The lamb (more like mutton) chops are overpriced but generally the menu is good value flavourful food. The reason for the 3 stars is specifically down to the food being reheated on three separate occasions. We've got round this by only going there during busy periods but be warned expect a minimum of 30mins to prepare your order during busy periods.

Customer service is non existent, infact staff go out of there way to be rude to customers timing is horrendous, yes the place is filthy and has miceNever to return

The staff are friendly enough, but as the other reviewer said they do not seem to understand the concept of time. I have called and then still had to go to the shop and wait, no apologies are ever offered but it's not like they went on training to understand customer service. Menu is limited and there is seating if u wish to eat at the location with Sky sports

The food is great, but sadly put off by the way they speak to you. We called 30 minutes before collecting our food, and they said it would be ready. My brother went to collect it as scheduled, but it wasn't ready. When my brother asked how long it was going to be, the worker replied, 'what, you want us to serve you raw meat?' no apology, nothing. We're never returning.

This place offers lots variety, it reasonably priced and great tasting food.The burgers and grilled chicken are really delicious and service is good.Fat joes can get really busy on a friday afternoon..
