Dixy Fried Chicken in Redbridge

Always running out of specific chicken pieces, never able to make a fresh batch and tries to force customers to take pieces they don't want. Happened twice and it's very unfortunate as the food itself has been good in the past.

The food all arrived freezing cold

Second time worst experience. Ordered burger meal, the fillet was so awful and hard on edges we had to leave the burger half way. Fries have been cooked and cooked. Oil doesn't feel fresh. Only thing we liked was can of drink (coke, 7Up). I am done with Dixy now

original time it says it'll come after I placed order was between 30-45 min. Delivery ETA was 9.25pm then I received a text to say sorry order is delayed. I called restaurant several times but no one picked it up. The food order came just before 10pm. I placed original order approx 8.30pm. it was easier to pick it up but we couldn't call restaurant to see if it had left! The was no live tracker service available either. It was so late by the time we got our food.

They missed a portion of chips and instead strawbery cheescake i get chocolate cake

I ordered this at 12.20am! and I fell asleep waiting for this order, in the end th driver called me the next day with my order 🫤 terrible!

It’s so sad to see this shop end up like this, I came here since I was a child and always loved the food until recently, the fries are standard but the burger buns were cold and hard and honestly the whole chicken fillet burger itself was the same.I already had to walk back to get items which weren’t put in my bag

oily chicken and cold chips do better

The hot wings had a foul smell and the chicken was still pink. I usually order from this place with no problems. Hopefully this is a one off but the food this time could have had serious consequences.

The location offers tasty chicken wings and fries.

1 pizza arrived squashed, with cheese stuck on the box. the other arrived cold. driver was late, and not bothered about the state of the food. Driver was smoking whilst we showed him the food, with ash falling all over the food. very rude driver. they offered to replace the pizza, which arrived squashed again and box was open on arrival. very poor service.

Missing items from my order and replaced with mushrooms which i am allergic to.. food was also cold when it arrived

Order took almost 2 hours to arrive! Delivery time kept changing and getting longer! Food was cold upon arrival and garlic bread was badly burnt! 3 items were missing! Restaurant number does not work so could not call for order update or for missing items! Very disappointing service and food!

Took 1.5 hour to get delivery. Food cold and double fried. Chips burnt threw all in bin. Wings double fried and hard. Burgers cold and too much chilli sauce. Plus they didn't give us any dips with the meals. Waste of money. This has happened before too. Won't order again

chicken was so oily the skin fell off the meat because it was heavily soaked. Same with the wings, soggy with oil and chips were not tasty. Maybe a bad batch as dixy chicken and chips normally very good, crispy and dry flavoursome.

Order was 30 plus minutes late. After placing the order I called the shop to ask why the order is late? They told me 5 minutes and 30 minutes later the food arrived. I advised to call me on arrival. All the food was cold. Beans in same bag as ice cream. When asked why I was told to put my food in the microwave or oven. What’s going on with the chips? Stop using Chucky ones randomly and stop re-frying old stale chips!

Didn't deliver drink with one meal. Quarter pounder and half pounder meals both were unbeatable due to the hardness of the meat, maybe not cooked properly.

Always order my pizza, cheesy garlic bread and breaded garlic mushrooms from here. They never disappoint and good value for money. All my requests are accommodated. Highly recommended

The quality of the food was poor the chips were soggy and I ordered 4 pieces of chicken i was given three pieces of dry side breast. Why was I given the of the same pieces In should of had a drumstick and side thigh too. Extremely dissapointed

We ordered on phone for collection 2 days ago,the order was of £53 and we were not sure will it b good or not,but i am so grateful to them they did superb job,food was fresh,they put extra stuff,extra sauces which not everyone does,thanks to Nadeem bahi as well for managing well and listen carefully on phone while writing our order.Thankyou dixy staff for doing ur best,highly recommended,well done

I was waiting for my meal and a customer complained about a hair in her burger so we left the shop and got our money back I do not advise coming here there’s better chicken shops where yu can eat e.g spice hut

Food was horrible quality, chicken was dry and tasteless, double cheese burger had nothing but just a slab of mayo in it, chips were rock hard. Compared to many other high-street chicken and chip shops this place is one of the worst. Charging a minimum of £15 is ridiculous for the quality of food being served from this branch of Dixy. Second time ordering from here and instantly regretted it. Never again.

After I put order in I got a message to say order would be delayed for upto 45 mins to hour. By time I realised it was too late to cancel. Disappointed with burgers, no option to choose can of drink. A shame but I won't be ordering again. Chicken wings and wedges were ok.

The pizza was the worst ive ever had. The dough was a total turn off, not even half way cooked, i tried to have 3 slices and i couldn’t go on, i threw the whole thing away. Tital waste of my money. Delivery guy was great, he arrived early.

I ordered a large fries and I got a very little fries, why will I order a large fries and I was giving a little fries, not nice at all, it is so annoying.

Buy 4 meals and get 1 free is one hell of a deal, especially after you and your mates are done with football. The wings are ok ish, the burgers are questionable. All in all, not amazing but could be so much worse.

The chicken wings had a very weird taste, the burgers that I ordered were EXTREMELY small,and the big pieces of chicken that I bought were barely fried,they were mostly just boiled on the inside and had some fried egg on the outside. Don’t recommend and also never buying from there again!!

Really disappointed with my order. First off all I didn’t order mozzarella sticks I wanted breaded garlic and cheese lol food was decent but I didn’t read the reviews beforehand otherwise I will not have ordered.

Got a chicken wrap meal it tasted awful it was as chicken was there since ages wasn't fresh at all had a rotten smell ended up throwing the whole meal in bin I hope hygiene organisation would follow it up and check on them as I do not believe they are meeting the right standards Since couple of years it's completely gone downhill. They do not care about customer's just money scammers and putting prices up I won't be going back that's 100 percent

As me and my friend came to this horrific horrid store, we were presented by a half eaten chicken on the floor. We chose to ignore this monstrosity and continued this perilous journey. After a few minutes the head chief had gotten someone's uneaten chips and put it on a heater and tried to serve it to me. Flabbergasted, I refused. I had ordered 6 wings chips and a drink, they gave me 5 wings chips and no drink. I would of thought it would of had some decency but as I was eating this horrible food, there was a hair and not just one but 3 strands. If you would like good chicken DONT COME HERE!

Combo bucket was nice. Usually forget to give salad and drink. This time we actually received both. Margarita pizza is very pricey considering the size and what you actually get.

This place is horrific. Chicken wings and burger meat was raw and absolutely nasty. Do not eat here I feel physically sick. They do not wear gloves and is just a dirty place overall.

WHAT A LET DOWN!!!!!! Use to come here all the time, use to be best kebab in town!!!!!! So disappointed my veg kebab with salad was congealed mix of veg with cheese and soggy pitta, portion of jalapeños was a total of 3 jalapeños, my husbands lamb Shish £14.60 for meat In a pitta no salad on top as stated in the order, see picture attached, all round awful and will not be ordering from here again

I have just been in as the guy opened. I use to own a chicken shop so I know it is hard work however the food I received was disgusting. One bite and I threw it in the bin. I only ordered 3 wings and chips. He put last nights chips in the box put it in the chicken warmer to warm up and then topped it up with a few fresh chips. Then he tried to use tape to seal the box to stop me realising even though I said I wanted it open. It would have been ok if the wings were half decent but they were the worst wings I’ve had in my life. When this place first opened it was ok now it’s disgusting. I’m guessing they are not that busy hence lack of funds to finance the shop. Very dirty, run down , dark shop and no hygiene at all for staff. Won’t ever be returning.

The restaurant updated delivery time ,it arrived after a hour ,wings were questionable,only the flat parts were added to the order.(rip off ) . rest of the fried chicken was alright .

Avoid at any cost, uncooked chicken, luckily my wife checked before giving to my children. Took al the picture will contact with trading standards.

Chicken fillet burgers were both super dry. Says large coleslaw, but wasn’t large at all. Came in a small little pot. Says large beans. But didn’t receive the beans. If the restaurant doesn’t have an item. At least substitute for something else. Rather than not give anything at all.

Good overall food was still warm temperature

After 3 years of not coming here due to the absolute terrible food, I thought maybe I should give it another try? And I can happily say it was as bad, if not even worse this time round, I ordered two 12 inch pizza's and the it was horrible, the pizza did not have enough toppings and the dough was raw. I truly wonder how the owner of this chicken shop looks at all these reviews and the 2.7 star rating on Google maps and says "yes im doing a good job" long stroy short do not come here if you love yourself and wish to live a long and healthy life 😀

Awful and unhygenic food..my husband was having stomach pain after eating their pizza and bbq wings..it was looked not cooked properly..bread was not fresh in pizza..i orderd wedged spicy one but they gave normal..not recommended at all..our weekend totally spoiled aftre eating food from this shop.please dont go for them.

Ordered 3 of the spicy chicken burgers through just eat. The food showed up late, barley warm and with cheese on it and not the spicy ones either. The only options are for salad and sauce which we said we didnt want so opted no. We called the shop to fix the problem which he lied and said they are all out of cheese so it’s not on it yet it is. He then claimed it all comes with cheese regardless which we said isn’t true as this isn’t how it’s come in the past two times when we have ordered from here and after being rude to my partner though all of this I made a point that I wouldn’t order it with cheese as it makes me really sick to the point even the smell of cheese makes me gag. He then made a comment rudely and a bit intimidatingly to come if it’s a problem and they will do it again. Which means he won’t send us the correct order through the delivery we paid for. Won’t be back again and hopefully there is a change in staff as he didn’t know how to talk to a customer or deal with problems. He really sounded like he wanted to have a fight by the way he was talking, tone and attitude.

Terrible and brought wrong items

The food was basic, customer service was appalling, the guy was very very rude and sneezed as he was serving the food. Overall, a really bad experience and the food was meaningless because of the service was awful.
