We have very bad experience .. we are the 5 6 delivery riders .. everytime we go they treat us not good.. we also paid for food but they treat us With bad attitude..

Rude staff. Refused to refund only after an argument he gave me a partial refund with no apology. Burnt pizza, the staff tried convincing me this is the art of pizza.

What pizza shop doesn't have deals for pizza they asking for 2 15inch for £25 that's an absolute joke no deals nothing they just want to suck all your money

they didnt deliver my food and stole my time and money i waited 2 hours for my food they didnt respond the first 4 tries if you want to order pizza late at night this is not the place to order because they take 2 hours to not send your order and cancel your order.

Don’t be fooled by the black gloves, they’ll take the rubbish out, smoke cigarettes and cook your food with the same black gloves on..

I bought pizza many times from Big Mama's but sometime it is burnt. Whenever, I try to complain, they never accept and rudely reply it is not burnt it is cooked. But today, when I ordered, I said please make sure it is not burnt. He replied rudely, “last time you complained but I didn’t accept now it will be the same if you don’t want it go somewhere else”. I used to go there because it is street shop and accessible in emergencies. But I think I’d never go there anymore.

Food was not fresh and it was smelling bad

Been going here for 2 years now since opening never let down ok sometimes they get the order late and have to wait for a few before they prepare my food but allways considerate and allways nice to have hot food

I placed an ordered and paid, only to be sat waiting for a long time before being told my order was taken by someone else. In other words, they had given it away to another customer. This was during a very quiet period and speaks to the lax nature of the staff.

got the doner absolutely horrible. Tastes like cardboard, never ever.

Ordered a doner from uber eats as it kept coming up worst doner I've had in my life took a bite and rest went into the bin it was like eating cardboard how do businesses get away with selling stuff like that wouldn't even feed that to a dog disgusting 🤢🤮

We went to buy 2 whole chickens, and we explained that we have stomach problems and we cant have spicy food, so we asked for something absolutely plain, no marinate, no spice. They gave us two marinated chickens that were quite *spicy* and when we asked for a refund, they said that they cant take back the chicken even though we had asked for completely plain chicken. Joke service!

We ordered a whole chicken and we say a few times to not be a spice because we can eat spicy and hot . They say it's not gonna be a spice will be herbs and lemon. We go at home at try it . It was a very spice. We try to return it , but they refuse and refuse to return the money so we must go back at home with a spice and hot food. And the chicken don't even was a whole chicken. The service its not good . The food is spice. I am not happy. I am not gonna visit again

Horrible place worst experience I ever had. Order whole chicken specially discribe to be not spicy, we get Horrible spicy taste, we ask for refund without even try it because the spicy smell was so strong they say no refund because was already cooked. I don't recommend this place to anybody.

Good basic fast food place. I believe big Mama has merged with another burger joint and become one. All types of fast food available and varied menu spread. Serves Halal. Good friendly staff. Good quiet location.

Food was poor, chips were rock solid, donar kebab tasted stale and had about 6 strands in a meal, wings were not fresh, rock solid on the outside a slimey on the inside, meals went to waste and ended up eating elsewhere avoid eating from here

The food is reasonably good. I would recommend their Chicken Morris Pizza - extremely hot and delicious. Prices are reasonable and customer service is on point.

I mention in all my review that I am not an avid reviewer unless I feel it needs addressing. I ordered two 9” pizza which turned out to be like the size of a pound pizza, chips were soggy and ruined by condensation. The cheesy chips were like having cardboard, it was disposed of in the trash after my second bite. The grilled wings were not fresh and definitely not marinated or seasoned well. With me included both my kids suffered upset stomach which I find disgraceful from a food shop in this day in age where restaurants and takeaway are competing for quality of taste. I will never order from this place again. I’d rather order a double pepperoni from Manjaros and happy pay extra because I know the quality, size, preparation is second best to no one. Lesson learned from me, be it a warning to all you customer ordering from this place.

ordered meat morris pizza and the meat was soo burnt and stale. it was obvious that they reheated old meat and put it in the pizza it was not fresh. not ordering from here again

I placed an order on the 1st of Jan 2023, but my order never arrived despite the fact that when i called the employee told me the rider is on the way and gave me his number. When i called the driver he said hes delivering other orders and my order wasnt one of them. I called the restaurant again and they told me exactly this “ there are 2 more drivers we dont know which one has your order “ and hung up. After 2 hours I called again and they said that they are cancelling my order and i will be able to receive a refund. I contacted deliveroo to inform them about the matter. They said when the restaurant emails them about the refund, they’ll give me my money back. My order status was set in delivered despite the fact that it wasnt. Today, the 3rd of Jan, I received an email from deliveroo saying you “decline my refund”. I called the restaurant to check on happened and why did they decline. The person I spoke to was very rude and he said that he couldnt speak english and hung up the phone after I told him about the issue. I called a few minutes later and asked to speak to someone else and he told me “ to stop calling “ and hung up the phone again. At this point im really disappointed and mad of how unprofessional and rude the employees are towards customers. I am also disappointed of how my issue was held and managed. I ask again to receive my money back. I paid for something that i never received.

I ordered a chicken fillet Burger in Big Mama's and it tasted terrible. The chicken fillet was very salty, hard and rubbery and not tender at all. It was a waste of money and time. I told the guy and he didn't say anything nor did he apologise. Won't go there again.

Must go if your looking for one of the best burger places in the area! The pizza is equally amazing. Ultimately if your looking for really great grilled food or delicious spicy hot flavours, this is it and look no further. I highly doubt you will be disappointed. My top picks: Morris Burger (Hot!) Morris Pizza (Hot!) Morris chips and cheese (Hot!) During Ramadan they also usually give a few extra items for free thats typical with a Asian Iftaar. Parking is never usually a problem here.

THE worst service ever!, totally dishonest and absolutely disgusting customer service. Pizza and chips delivered late, hence cold, ordered with chicken but not a single piece of chicken in the pizza, absolutely zero. Doubly disappointed as the pizza was for guests. My guests told me that they too were treated disingenuously on several occasions, when they had ordered for delivery. I phoned to complain but was gobsmacked at-the lack of empathy and interest in customer satisfaction, notwithstanding my protestations in regards to the pizza being devoid of any chicken. I wonder how an mendacious, unprincipled and disreputable establishment such as this remains open as a business, with such unethical, atrocious customer negligence and belated delivery. I have had pizza delivered from this place on a number occasions before, so I know how they can be unscrupulous and miserly with their toppings/servings but this time around they have stooped to such sub standards, that I am absolutely lost for words. I have lost trust and confidence on this restaurant and simply been defrauded with impunity and I know for certain that other people have had similar experiences. I have made it my resolution to never, ever engage in any transaction with such a deceitful enterprise as Big Mamas.

If you crave spice, this is the place to go to! Recently I’ve been let down to a great extent when it comes to spicy food. The Bangladeshi Naga is the world most spiciest natural grown (non modified) spice in the world. A lot of places in east London sell Naga wings... well they claim to anyway. But it seems as though all the places have reduced their spice levels together like it’s been regulated by the government! I’ve never had a spicy pizza and decided to come here as my mates were talking about it, and boy was I satisfied! Their muddy fries was amazing too! Place was clean and customer service was on point too. Just typing this reviews is making my mouth water, which means I will be visiting real soon again!

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet - these guys have never let me down, the menu and food is great and the staff are really friendly and polite. One of my top takeaway places in the area. My daughter loves going along in the car and the staff are great with her, really makes the experience. Thanks for the hard work all at Big Mammas : )

I work for NHS and sadly when I was about to finish work around 6.50pm on a Friday near where I work I went to Mamas pizza and Grill on Belgrave road Ilford and I collected my Uber eats order 2 of 15” pizza one very hot and 1 less hot for kids. I came home by 8pm after work I didn’t think that the pizza would be burned when I was about to serve my children, but when I opened both pizzas top looked ok like perfect but when I turned the base over it was all burnt on both pizzas. Pictures are attached as my evidence. This was my first visit and I must say I am not impressed with the shop owner. I called them straight after seeing the burnt pizza took pictures so I have evidence. I said I like to speak to owner but he was so rude no customer service, he calls his self Mr Ferdouz he tells me they haven’t burnt anything and I advised him I have pictures to show it it’s burnt, I requested that he takes the burnt ones and replaces with good cooked ones, I said my little kids not able to eat it, he replied by saying he can’t do anything about it. I feel that you shouldn’t run a business if you have no experience in customer service. He was not professional and seemed like he was not willing to help me at any point, his point was why did I call back after 2 hours. I explained I work for NHS and only came to pick up my order at 6.50pm and I didn’t finish work till 7pm when I went home and got kids ready to eat that was when I noticed the burnt. Either they don’t know what temp to bake their pizza at otherwise why is both my pizza Burnt! I have already put my complaint to food standard agency within the local council.

I ordered 2 adult meals and 1 kids meal. The kids meal burger was burnt. Did these guys not think that it is a kids meal and child was going to eat it before sending it out burnt. Have some shame guys, I paid money for the meal, don't rip me off. Feel free to contact me and I will send you the picture.

That place is really good. Burgers are tasty, chips aren't as hard as Palace restaurant, milkshakes are nice and even the manager is a nice person. Really great selection of drinks also. Wish to come back again.

Great service and quality of food. Restaurant may not be spacious but rest assured provides great options and reasonably priced. Free parking available. Food was prepared with care and fast. Well done and keep up the good work.

Pizza is good. Communication is NOT. My issue is the men mannin the phones. They dont understand orders as well as they could. I often repeat my orders. And they get the wrong ingredients and they ALSO forget to make my pizza until i come to collect it. Losing easy points here.

The food is made fresh to order, and was quite tasty and reasonably priced. When I went there was a staff member cleaning the entire place which is reassuring!

Service and food quality has definitely gone down, ordered lamb chops meal, but dont recall ordering BURNT chops swallowed by the sauce, we had to serve ourselves. Service was totally lacking. Haven't seen the manager/owner probs explains a lot.

Good food, the best thing to buy is the big mama morris fries, decent price for food however, the shop stinks like a toilet that hasn’t been cleaned... i think they forget to close the staff toilet door, but either way, whatever it is needs to get checked out...

Good place and nice food. But disappointed they aren't HMC certified anymore since my visit in Nov'18 and therefore may be serving chicken and meat that has been stunned before slaughter. We prefer non stunned and Belgrave Road is majority HMC suppliers. . Also on a professional level have researched Halal certifications and you'll be shocked with what's out there labelled as Halal. COME BIG MAMA'S THINK ABOUT YOUR DECISION.

Hope the owner reads this. I work near Cranbrook Lane on weekends and used to go regularly for lunch and used to come with my mates. Recently they've let standards drop. Went to eat in, the tables were sticky and sauce was old. You can tell they just refill the same plastic bottles without cleaning them. And I doubt they have ever replaced them. Please just replace the bottles regularly they're not expensive and throw away the old chilli sauce because that stuff goes bad. The burgers are my favourite. Had chilled chicken wasn't that great not if it was reheated.

It's a nice take away and restaurant for fast food. They do burgers meals and doner. Their doner is very special. They 're cook on grill with added tomatoes onions and spices. You can get special doner with mild medium and hot chillies. Good stuff in reasonable prices. They are Halal.

One of the best kebabs I've eaten. Comparable to some of the best kebab shops in East London. Very spicy and tasty. Pizza is also surprisingly good. Only downside is they don't do proper hot wings, only grilled. Also the chips are steak cut and taste wise they're pretty average.

Love the burgers here... And the Bengali spiced donner... I got here for a quick bite to eat most lunch times.

First time around I ordered the juicy lucy burgers and it was extremely busy in there so it took what seemed like an enternity but thankfully the burgers were great. 2nd time around I ordered the Morris special pizza with chicken and it was sensational. Loved it. They don't hold back on the toppings. Loads of chillis which gave it a lovely kick. Great flavour and apparently the bread doe is made fresh in kitchen and not pre-bought and I think the proof is in the eating. Lovely texture. My brother recommended the Morris (chilli) Pizza and I am now hooked.
