They always give half portions every single time, they give half of what any other store would give. I would avoid if you want a decent portion

Very disappointed in this branch. If you have 50+ orders, you should not accept more than you can handle. We ordered around 5.25, the food was still not ready being prepared at 7pm. They did not pick up their phones after calling multiple times. It didn't allow you to cancel or contact Uber during this time either. Our delivery driver had to communicate with us, that they had too many orders backlogged. In the month of Ramadan, you need to realise people are relying on you for their iftar, especially if they ordered in advance. We were expecting the food to arrive late around 7pm, but the food wasn't even made yet. Absolutely disappointing.

Pepes is always banging - would have loved the food to be drenched tho. I think doing takeaway is the best. Having the juice in the foil bag makes it better

visited Pepe's last night around 23:00, and unfortunately, my experience was shocking. An elderly staff member, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, was present and behaving unprofessionally. He was swearing at both customers and fellow staff members, which created an uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere. Given that this is an HMC certified shop, I did not expect to encounter such behavior. It is incredibly concerning that a drunk individual was allowed to work, and it significantly impacted my experience. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise the management to reassess the environment and staffing, as this is not acceptable for any establishment. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements.

I am absolutely fuming due to the food served at this branch. I requested for extreme loaded fries, and they give me PLAIN chicken. PLAIN. I have personally been to MANY pepe’s branches, I have even gotten pepe’s 12 days in a row in the past, and I am very reasonable when it comes to food, but this was abysmal. Furthermore they put NO cheese???????? Shame on you. Extreme waste of money. I advise you to open the food AT the branch before leaving. I made the mistake of opening it the car, already far from the branch.

Just visited and ordered a gourmet burger for a little one. I noticed an unhygienic environment—no gloves, and the person was making the burger with bare hands, placing the cheese, and pressing the bun with his palm before wrapping it. Since it's all deliveries, they don’t seem to care about hygiene. I complained, and they offered to make another one, so I ended up waiting 30 minutes for a burger. Simply put, the hygiene standards, like many Indian and Pakistani places, are not recommended at all."

Staff was fighting with each other and the chef decided to not take any order very unprofessional i was waiting in the queue for 5 minutes but they decided to not take any order and saying sorry everything is run out when there was alot of chicken on the grill . Their closing time is 12 but they choose to not take any order anymore from 8:30 .. very bad.. i would recommend to not go in the environment like this.

Absolutely Appalling Experience! Placed an order with Pepe’s Piri Piri on Cranbrook Road at 18:32, and after an incredibly frustrating wait, it finally arrived at 20:15, almost two hours later! No updates, no option to cancel the order, just endless waiting. Uber Eats’ system is completely flawed for not allowing customers to cancel when orders are ridiculously delayed. By the time the food arrived, the experience was already ruined. This level of service is unacceptable. Uber Eats and the restaurant need to seriously improve their operations, this was disgusting customer service. Would not recommend!

Long waiting times around 35-40mins and poor food quality and rude staff. Avoid at all costs and staff seriously need good training as well as the chef for consistent food.

Wrongly accused. Staff was extremely rude and was accusing us of stealing and not paying for the food. They then decided to cause a big a argument causing delays and interrupting my meal. I was really heart broken at how i was being treated. They checked camera footage and saw that we all paid as normal and refused an apology and decided to blame it on there customers. GAVE US BAD STOMACH! We are regular customers at Pepe’s in wood green and palmers green. But Gants hill Pepe’s have disappointed us big time. Went in to order food and the shop was a bit busy as it was saturday. Waited for 20minutes and finally the food was handed over to us. The food was shockingly cold maybe because it had been ready ages ago and the staff was too busy to pack it. The rice looked undercooked. And the double xl chicken burger was stone cold. Their sweet chilli sauce was very very watery. My wife and i had stomach ache all night. We will not be coming back here. Hope the management does something about this.

I got the loaded fries with veggie burger. The loaded fries didn't contain chicken, but really made up in flavour with the stringy cheese and crispy onions. The veggie burger was quite average, not good or bad. Tables could have been maintained abit better.

I recently visited Pepe’s in Gants Hill, Ilford, and was really impressed. The chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and packed with flavor. Pepe’s is my go to meal wherever I go first I try to find pepe’s. I live in Gants Hill and feel previledge to have the best pepe’s branch here. Staff is so professional and experienced. If you are planning to visit Pepes I’d recommend Gants Hill branch and chicken rice or grill chicken.

Went to Pepes last week and had their grill chicken and loaded fries. What a food it was … amazing experience and superb taste. The staff was very cooperative. I had push chair with me and was struggling to open the door one guy rushed towards the door and opened it for me and even served the food on table because I was with my little kid.

They gave less rice and when we asked about it staff started to argue. They were very rude and service was pathetic. Staff no one was wearing gloves not even people who making food not wearing gloves. No hygiene

Such a poor experience!!! Me and my boyfriend placed an order and waiting more than 20min to collect it. The customers that came after us they've been served before and team looked so messy and disorganised. When we asked about our food they did not even apologise, we did not receive even a good farewell. This place should have people in places, especially when is busy. Not recommended.

I recently visited Pepe's Peri Peri Gants hill and had a fantastic experience! The service was top-notch, and I'd especially like to thank Amit, Zohaib, and Waqas Bhai for their excellent service. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place for great food and amazing service!
