Food arrived cold despite not being located far, had no flavour and dry, vegetables of low quality tasting bland, the sauce dips where watery and the humus tasted off so unfortunately I have chucked this in the bin. How does one mess up a chicken wrap, it's so simple to make. Never again

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Never Ordering Again! ⭐☆☆☆☆ I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and it was a complete disaster. The quality has declined significantly, and to make matters worse, several items were missing from my order. Chicken Shish Kebab was missing from my platter. Lamb chops were missing from another platter. I paid extra for hummus, which was not delivered. When I called the restaurant, they refused to take full responsibility but admitted the hummus was missing. They promised to send it—but never did! This level of service is completely unacceptable. If I’m paying for something, I expect to receive it. The restaurant's lack of accountability and poor customer service only made things worse. Very disappointing experience. I will not be ordering from here again! 🚫

We ordered for delivery, the order arrived on time; rarely do we have any complaints about the food. The buy one get one free offer was a tad dubious though, as it looked like a normal portion just split into two; we ordered the platter and expected more quantity.

one day sauce free with £9 meal with few uncooked chips and tasteless meat, and another day sauce is chargable staff said its how owner has decided, He said if you spent £50 still sauce is chargable. So dnt be surprise which mood owner will be when you do ylur next visit.

I'm sorry guys this order was bad and wrong I ordered 2 wraps 1 chicken donna and 1 Hollumi, what arrived was a chicken donna with so much oil dripping out of it it was eneadable and a box of hollumi with no wrap or salad. utter rubbish guys do better

I can not believe how much the quality had declined in a relatively short period of time. I just paid 30 something pounds for 2 soggy fatty kebabs with a little side salad. It used to come with nice shavings of chicken with rice and big cuts of fresh vegetables. Now it's no rice, I've had a single piece of tomato, oily fatty, but somehow dry chicken leftover, probably what's fallen off during the day. I am disgusted and will no longer order or visit this place. I am actually fuming just thinking about how much they have charged me for what they thought it's an acceptable meal. They no longer have pride in their quality or they restaurant.

the worst food i ever had in my life. i ordered mix grill with chips...i waited 15 minutes and they brought me rise wich was disgusting...no taste at all, the meat was uncooked and the taste really bad....25 pounds for this kind of low quality is a robbery. let's don't talk about the Toilets....really dirty... i would never go back there and i advice every one to avoid that place....RUBBISH!!!!!!!

This shop scams people on Uber eats. They charged £17 for lamb doner buy one get one free. I forgot to take a picture, but my order looks identical to Steven Lawrence’s review below. The portion was so small, they served it in a 7 inch pizza box (they usually serve in a doner in a doner box) The box was half filled, with no salad. I chose the pick up option on Uber eats, when I asked them for salad, they said they don’t include it. At this point is it buy one get one free? I can see they trick customers to think they’re getting a normal doner meal, then sell a lamb doner box on Uber eats for £17 then do buy one get one free offers. Edit: I’ve seen a lot of customers ALOT of people complain about this in your reviews. This might be the reason why you have such a low rating on Google and on Uber (you have only 42% on this meal on Uber). May be might be worth trying to address the common complaints that many other customers have tried to make, instead of trying to have an argument with them. 3.3* rating is very low.

Last night I ordered 2 chicken doner boxes, costs me around more than 18 pounds including fees through Uber. Now order I received only fries and dried chicken. That how u making people fool??? That how name it Donner??? When you call it Donner it means it comes with onion,tomato, cucumber, jalapenos,lettuce etc on top then it becomes doner, even if u have a look into Ur menu pic, there was a green chilli and tomato . But u sent me only dried chicken and soggy fries. That was my first time. I will recommend other people not to order again from this shop. Because u guys don't deserve that we buy food. Highly disappointment.

It was the worst Turkish food I have ever had. It was to the point that we had to throw away the food. It was dry, cold, salt less and tasteless. It is a waste of food, money and time. Ruined the whole evening.

I recently had a disappointing experience with my customer service. Upon receiving it, I noticed there was hair mixed in with the meat. This was not only unappetizing but also raised concerns about hygiene and food safety. I expect a certain standard when ordering food, and finding hair in my meal is unacceptable. When confronting the guy, he denied it and continuously accused me of placing it in there. The guy continued by laughing at me saying ‘it’s good for you’ and refused to take this complaint seriously. I will NOT be coming back considering i was a loyal customer !!

i’ve been a customer for many years: In my opinion the best value and quality in Gants Hill. I especially enjoy the lamb ribs which are to die for and the lamb donar which is always crispy and yet juicy. Service is also always fast and well mannered. Take away service is always prompt, and eating in is good cafe style. i also noticed that they now serve food on smart plates and with excellent sharp knives to cut meat. Highly recommend

So the guys at salamis are very friendly however they kept asking me if i was to eat in or takeaway. As there was table and chairs I assumed seating would be better. The food which i ordered was doner lamb in outta with Salad. Presentation was as to be expected however the doner was very dry almost inedible. Salad was nice as nice as a salad should be.The doner was left half eaten as i couldn't stomach anymore, when paying the bill they charged me £14.99 when totting up the display menu prices it came to £10.00 When i asked in detail why the extra amount he simply said you ate inn. inwas taken a back and asked him to explain this.... There was no signage stating eating in would cost more. This is really a rip off especially for the food which was served. Feel completely ripped off wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. I should of read the reviews before visiting... 1st and last time!!!

I been told to the restaurant and I order Greek salad what was say it’s £5 and I order apple juice £2.50 When i pay it was £9.50 for all that small salad I got shocked for that and I asked the wearer how come I paid 9.50 he said because I’m eating in that why! If I know that , I’m going to take away my small salad.! And I told him why you guys not making people to see how much the price of your are in or take away this is really really bed ! Just for this small salad I paid this much this is funny never going back again. I’m really upset now .

It takes 45 mins for this restaurant to deliver within a 3-mile radius. By the time, the food reaches its soggy and cold. The lamb feels like a piece of fat

I have come here since salamis was a smaller resturaunt. So nice to see its expanded and its definate always on my list for fine resturaunt and take away. My son is a very picky eater but he loves everything at salamis restaurant. His favourite is the lamb doner wrap with salad and chilli sauce ! something he never used to have in his life and now always wants ! The staff are brilliant the food is amazing price is reasonable! The man with the grey hair is our favourite !!!! Always happy and smiling 😃 thankyou

First they didn’t get the order right I put a comment for no onions and it was filled with onions then the wrap had no sauce condiment totally dry and chicken tasted like a cardboard one of the worst shawarma I ever had. Even though the owner said he will give me free food next time, i am not going to order again here.

Best local takeaway, you can’t beat them! Lamb doner is amazing and the best cheesy chips, absolutely worth the price and the staff are always kind and approachable! Great atmosphere, would 10/10 recommend! Ps. if you’re a student they’re a go to after a night out!
