Jungle Grill Ilford in Redbridge

Wanted to give less thn 1 star but couldn’t, we took away 1 whole and 1 half grilled chicken with chicken rice, on 10june after 10pm, got the order after waiting but thought its fine since it was buzy. But when went home the rice were spoilt and smelled. I am amazed how were they buzy if serving spoilt food. Tried calling thm back but as usual thr num is not working. We have reported to the redbridge council as well. This is not acceptable. Worst first experience ever.

Food quality in comparison to the price is impressive. So many great deals at great prices. Of course you can get better food but at more than double the price but the quality here is still better than most around. Next Best thing was the service. Literally service with a smile unlike any other restaurant on ilford lane. 👍🏼

we had broke our fast last minute and we luckily found jungle grill which was absolutely mouthwatering. I advise anyone to eat their. Great aesthetics and vibes and genuinely good food. I recommend to all. -Mazin Sharif - Akhi Ash. -Twenty4s - RS.

Used to be good but under new management now? Quality is bad. Lost a good customer. Peri chips bland & chewy, everything came in polystyrene trays, even rice, so cold. Hot dog was bare, see pic.

The chicken was cold, not fresh, and most importantly, it was not cooked properly. The burgers were also tasteless and undercooked, a horrible waste of money. I attempted to contact the store to complain, but no one responded; the store workers are crooks.

I had a problem with Delivery and the manager was not helpful at all and hanged up on me. Very unprofessional Don't recommend

We tried first time eat in and we have decided not to go back as we go to a local shop in ilford high road. Second time we did take away full chicken with side 🤢 never ever again!! we will go back to the old place a bit further and expensive but great taste! The chicken from this place is dry and absolutely disgusting 😷🤢 shame as it was close to my home! I would give 0 star if I could !

Awful food. The worst place we’ve ever eaten at. Food had way too many random flavours, some were overpowering, others were bland. Chicken and chips were not cooked properly. Wings were changed to chicken bits without informing us on the platter. The kitchen looked very unhygienic, and the downstairs washroom area just stank. Was put off by everything before the food even arrived. Name is also being changed to Grill House. Would not recommend, paid nearly £50 on nasty food that we couldn’t even finish. Staff were bickering in front of us too.

Great taste + mouth watering presentation of delicious freshly cooked food. Short waiting time. Were served today, very professionally by AQil who was extremely kind and friendly. Definitely recommend 👍

*****Suffered from food poison ***** 13 of us had dinner at jungle grill in Ilford lane on the 7/9/22, staff were very nice, food was edable but the problem began after we left the restaurant, children became ill even the adults were ill, everyone had food poisoned stomach cramp from the food. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to poor hygiene and not sure how they cooked and preped their food or the quality of food. We had to call in sick on the following day, felt bad for the children they vomited on the following day. Please do not go there to get food poisoned. That was the first and last time for us at Jungle grill. Council should be strict on this matter and they should regulate food industry more. They don't deserve any star.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE, PLEASE AVOID. Had a very bad experience at Jungle Grill yesterday when I went there with my family. The staff were quite friendly but the food was not gut friendly. We ordered a chicken platter and a tiger burger, portion size was small even though these were their premium dishes, chicken breast was hard (probably reheated an old portion) and fries were uncooked. We left halfway and had our stomachs upset since the morning. It's ridiculous that the way these restaurants advertise themselves and when it comes to food, they can't even serve a burger right. But one thing I have noticed over the years, "the bigger the menu, the worse the food." This applies in majority of cases but definitely there are exceptions.

*** SUFFERED FROM FOOD POISONING *** Suffered from upset stomach and diarrhoea the very next morning after having their chicken platter. Portion size was too small, their supreme burger is about the same size as a kids burger and chicken breast was dry and hard. Overall, please avoid at all cost.

Food was cold some food didn't come

We went here on 14th August. We ordered mixed platter. The chicken was extremely dry. The rice actually smelt bad. The peri peri salad was very dry and tasteless. We opted to eat here even though its pricy compared to other places in the same area because it looked clean and new and tidy but were very disappointed. Food was so bad we ended up leaving and eating elsewhere . Would not recommend

Nice people, however the food was extremely average. We waited close to 30mins for the food - got a mix of burgers, chicken steaks, etc. Everyone's food was very poor, no flavour, very basic, burger wasn't even hot. Watery ketchup,very tangy chilli sauce. Just very poor overall. To top it off, gave me a stomach ache an hour later. Avoid.

Worst food anyone can have and staffs are clueless. Even they don't have any idea how to cook chicken. The peri peri burger I had it just waste of money ridiculous. They food are usually cold.

Good tasty meals. Cheese burgers has that charcoal flavour taste. And make sure you order Peri peri fries. We also ordered peri chicken burger with extra slice of cheese(add cheese a must).

We had a party of 10 including children and we showed up without pre booking as our previous plans fell through. Considering that, they were very accomodating and they even had child seats. Our order was taken and small changes were followed. The food was great, normally my parents are very picky eaters and they liked it, so I cant complain. All in all a wonderful evening.

I ordered a box meal which was grilled chicken, wings, rice and chips. Not one of these were fresh. Everything was cold and the chicken did not look cooked properly. Absolutely tasteless and looked as though the sauce was just brushed onto the chicken. Chicken also had a really weird smell to it…WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN P.s seemed like the workers did not even know what they were doing!

Service is very bad. I came on Eid Day. Shop was not busy. We was sat downstairs, there was no AC and the ice cream machine was too load and made it hard to sit inside and have a chat. It looks like any other because of the flower wall. Waiter did not undertake basic instructions and we had to ask her to bring the cutlery and remind her to bring the drinks and sauces. Food was very mediocre. Nothing special. I ordered the King Kong platter. I had to go up and remind them to give the perinase which tasted bland and the chilly sauce was not nice either A real shame after all the excitement I would not recommend going here.

Nice and small sitting area. A lot of different grilled options with burgers. The food was not bad. And of course it is Halal. They also have an ice cream and milkshake cafe downstairs.

Wonderful food. Loved Karachi style bun kebab. Great customer service. Mr Owais is doing a brilliant job!

I enjoyed my meal had a Karachi bun, nice mixture of a beef patty, egg, coleslaw and cheese salad, very well put together and was tasty. Had it as a meal with peri peri chips.

I've experienced the taste of the jungle grill and it was so delicious Mostly the #malai_boti was fantastic and the #karachi_bun_kabab. Staff was so cooperative and environment was very clean and obviously their chef. I specially met Chaudhary zahad.

Friendly staff, but their food is below average, I ordered grill wings and grill chicken it literately had ZERO taste and wasn’t even fresh!

Really not impressed with my order today. I got the Karachi bun kebab meal, and it tastes nothing like a bun kebab burger. Theres hardly any seasoning in the meat or the egg. The lettuce was so watery that my burger arrived soggy. Very tasteless and I’m super disappointed as I’m from Karachi myself and this meal just lets the traditional street food down.

Really liked it pakistani bun kebab, excellent combination. Highly recommended.

The Asian in me got swayed by the BOGOF offer...oh why oh why...after fastin all day this is what I had...let's break it down... Peri Burger Platter - peri peri Burger/3 peri grilled wings/perinaise peri peri fries...burger was the skinniest burger I've ever seen & someone must like onion so they thought I'd like onion...onion overload...instead of the wings I got 2 strips...1 was missing...no perinaise fries...they were jus plain fries 5 pieces of grilled wings - the smallest wings I've seen IN MY LIFE...I'm talkin smaller than my pinky people's...with the sauce added on top...no marination here... Chilli cheese fries - cheese sauce was nice but not enough & they just blobbed a bit of mince on top... Mixed steak burrito - this is what I was lookin forward to the most...again too much onion...not the usual rice they have in burritos...it was ok tho... I normally add photos but I was disappointed by this meal I couldn't even be bothered 😑😑😑

Not great. We were seated right next to the door where it was freezing cold when there seats downstairs. Food we wanted and paid for wasn’t there so had to settle for something else. No mojitos or desert. Only nice thing were jalapeno cheese shots. Disappointed with food - The smell of the chicken I received (chicken habibi) was so off putting, I couldn’t eat it. Wouldn’t go here again.

Completely tasteless and amongst the worst takeouts I have ever had. The quality, taste and overall appeal of their food was lacking throughout and I did not enjoy any of the food I ordered. It was simply terrible. Wings - the tiniest pieces you can imagine (the size of a date). Grilled means burnt and then lathered in a the worse sauce I can imagine that has zero resemblance to buffalo. Simply just not nice at all. Chops - more fat jelly than meat. Then when you do get to the tiny bit of meat left on the chop, it was not just well beyond done making it excessively hard to bite into and chew. It was again lathered in this horrible sauce called Jungle Hot which is red mush, excess oil with some chilli. This hides how bad the chops were. Waste of money and were not eaten as they were that bad. Never seen chops done so badly! Peri peri burger - again another failure with any random chicken shop offering much better quality. Dry fillet, chewy chicken, overdone mayo. A major avoid, simply not good at all. Chilli cheese fries - these were not very nice at all but compared to the others they were just marginally edible. Chips with cheese sauce and then wet keema with kidney beans. You’d get better chilli con carne out of a supermarket basic tin! If you are on a diet then I’d order from here as it will put you off food and you’d prefer to go hungry!

Visited jungle grill today with friends for Iftar had a great time there . Food ( lamb chops , grilled chicken etc ) was very delicious as expected. Presentation and service was 10/10 . Excellent food and service, was recommended this place by a friend and got to say food was lovely. Just a bit small seating wise as there was seating for 16 upstairs. Downstairs had more seating but it felt like being in the cellar plus was cold. Highly recommended this place

it's the first time I visited Jungle grill. I decided to order the wings and chops platter costing £11.99. I was extremely disappointed with the portion size and quality of the food. The chops had little to no meat on them. Overall very disappointed. I wouldn't go there again.

Great customer service and very nice decor. I requested for the plain chicken without any spices and they spot on with some grill flavour it was very tasty. Looks like i will go there again. Highly recommended

Ordered food for my family and children. The childrens food did not arrive. I called the shop and as it was an Uber eats order they couldn’t do anything about it. The food was poorly packed and very messy and arrived cold! Had to reheat the food after ordering from elsewhere for the children. The food was also not great. Very poor experience all round.

Unsatisfied, I wanted a burger, was surprised to find out that all patties are frozen apart from one burger, the brioche bun was slightly stale and the meat used to make the “fresh burger” was not so great or good quality meat. Chips hardened after a while, most likely frozen too. Not happy, waste of time, better of going to manjaros down the road.

Great food, excellent customer service. There was a mistake with my order, which they rectified promptly. I later realised the mistake was mine, but great of them to accomodate me. The lady on the phone and the counter really went out of her way to help me. Plus the food was excellent! Highly recommend this place!

Tried some steak here.it was so chewy, it tastes like rubber, I must say this has to be the worst food I have ordered after a long time. The food was disgusting and gave me a belly ache after. I would have not feed this food to my dog! They call themselves jungle grill and this is where they belong feeding to the junglees, not civilised people. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Food definitely not worth the price.

I am waiting more than 20 min for hot wings. In front of me they serve customer and giving delivery order .But no response my one. After Minutes 24min I received my order. Food test ok but not good enough as price. Wing's very small and flavour less.

Jungle Grill had a lovely and warm environmen. The staff were very friendly and well presented. Lamb chops,wings and burger was full of flavour but please avoid the beef Steak as it was extremely dry, tough and tasteless. Good selection of drinks and is well priced.for the Ilford area Would I visit again?100% but will stay away from the beef steak!

Welcomed very warmly. The decor is very nice. It’s warm. Staff are very helpful. They bring order to the table. Grilled halloumi with grilled mushrooms in a wrap with cheesy fries along with a can of Rubicon Mango. I’m going to come again. 😋

Overrated and over priced for what you get. Food is nothing special that one should pay that price to eat tasteless food. I went with two other friends and none of us were happy due to poor and terrible quality.

It's been long time I had nice double pounder. I should say it was the best and the fact you can add unlimited toppings and sauces it was the best. The decor of the restaurant is so modern and lovely as well. Lastly the customer services was amazing such lovely people. Totally recommend it esp "the beef eater" if you are the beef lover 😉.

I have been in Jungle Grill over the weekend. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to this time as some reviews seams very harsh! Food is definitely not bland, bit spicy for me but anything but bland. Cold food? No, food came fresh and hot. Portions are reasonable and do make you full, money worth spent. Ok. Chicken Mash and rice didn't taste fresh

I went there with my friends.we loved their food .we ordered peri peri burger platter ,which comes with 3 grilled peri peri wings as well.it was very good amount of food for one person and it tasted amazing as well.would definitely come back and recommend it.

Ordered a strawberry sundae and chicken steak. Chicken steak tasted bland including the sauce that was served as a side. The strawberry sundae was half melted already when served. Also didn't like the flavor of the sweet topping they had added to the top. All in all was quite disappointed in the meal so won't be coming again.

Visited the place today would NOT recommend this place atall. Owner was extremely rude to his staff members was disrespectful towards her infront of customers. Which was not acceptable atall. I did adress this issue to him however he seemed really unbothered by all. Orderd a burger and a steak wrap which just lacked flavour was extrememly dry and had no seasoning atall. The quality of the burger buns were not good plus they were servered cold. The steak was chewy and over cooked. Extremely disappointed!!! Would not reccomend atall

i went to this place first time and i was looking for somewhere new to eat outside, so i decided to try jungle grill. I ordered the congo burger,chips and the boneless wings. First of all, the burger was very bland and flavourless, not to mention the cheese on the burger was not even melted, it was quite raw. Secondly the chips were dry and just not very nice. Lastly, the wings were very dry and plain. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a nice meal.

The customer service was good and the place was nice. However when the food arrived it wasn’t up to standards. I ordered the chilli cheese burger and loaded fries but both were bland and lacked in moisture , flavour and presentation. Also the chips were cold and the cheese wasn’t melted in the burger and the bun was dry. Definitely not worth the money,I was left hungry and disappointed and when i had complained they had just suggested some ‘fresh chips’. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I visited here with my sisters and the quality of the food was terrible! It is by far the worst restaurant I have dined it (I eat out regularly). I was very hungry and disappointed. The burgers were dry and bland - lacked in flavour and seasoning, the cheese inside the burger was rock hard which should have been melted, the burgers were just stuffed with a huge amount of salad. The chips were cold and the boneless wings had a very sharp taste of some sort of herb and it just tasted completely off. I spoke to a member of staff about the issue and they seemed very unbothered and offered no sort of compensation. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK!!

Food, service and rates everything good.i recommend every person must visit at least one time . Next you will visit daily
