The best restaurants serving Default food in West Ruislip Hillingdon London

Patrick and his team could not have been more welcoming or accommodating to our party to have a simple mid-afternoon surprise celebration of a 90th birthday. They allowed us to bring in our own cake and we bought teas, coffees and wine to accompany it. This was never going to be a big earner for them, but we will all return when we have our next celebration as they truly understood and delivered hospitality to a very grateful birthday girl and her friends.

Nice intimate restaurant, people lovely and friendly, great service, delish food! Waiter went out of his way to find me the right wine by letting me taste a few! Amazing place, you won't be disappointed.

I go there everyday i finish my night shift and they are so friendly and the food taste so good 😊 I even go sometimes before my evening shift their Vito burger is so delicious 🤤

Went to this cafe the other day was very amazing got served by a young lady named Angela. She was very kind and is a very hard worker yet always has a smile in her face. She also made me and my friend a luxury hot chocolate and it tasted amazing, I would definitely come again.

Lovely location, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful and pastries like you've never tasted before. The coffee, however, was very ordinary and served in paper cups and pastries sold in the paper take away bags without plates or cutlery, even if you are dining in. Also, there is very limited seating. A bench with 4 stools inside and two tables outside (weather permitting!).

Disappointing. The pad thai didn’t taste pad thai at all…. more like a fry up… no peanuts or brean sprouts either, huge and wide noodles. The dumplings were extremely salty. Would not order from them again!

I recently revisited German Doner Kebab after quite some time, and I’m thrilled to say that it’s still as impressive as I remember. One standout feature is the glass wall showcasing the kitchen, which gives you a clear view of how clean and organised everything is—this transparency really adds to the overall dining experience. The food, of course, was the highlight. My doner kebab was absolutely on point, bursting with flavour, and perfectly cooked. The combination of tender meat, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces was simply spot on. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food, and it’s clear why they’ve earned such a strong reputation. I also want to give a special mention to the service. The staff, particularly the young lady who served me, was friendly, efficient, and attentive. She ensured that everything was to my liking and provided great recommendations. It’s always nice to feel well taken care of when dining out, and this visit was no exception. Overall, my experience at German Doner Kebab was fantastic, and it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back again soon. Whether you’re a regular or revisiting after some time like me, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Such lovely staff, very helpful, welcoming, will help with luggage too. Genuine friendly polite staffing. Feel safe staying here. The one complaint is pillows are awful need some plump up ones. I have to bring my own which means extra baggage. I have been visiting for years now. The other thing is the loss of the pub was so convenient for breakfast and dinner now closed down.

Decent tasting food but for the price, you really need to up the portion sizes!

The delivery driver put delivered and didn’t deliver my food, this is unexceptable and I want my re fund now.

Café is on an excellent location. But being the only café it’s always super busy which makes the service slow and depletes the quality of the food I guess.
