Granero Lounge in Hillingdon

This is the first time I have eaten in this restaurant. I would highly recommend it. The food and service is excellent.

My pregnant wife and I were super excited to try out Granero as we’d just moved to the area however we had the unfortunate experience of being served by Tony. Not only did he get our order wrong but also cancelled my wife’s order. We waited an hour to find out it hadn’t been received in the kitchen (with no communication) until Tony realised what had happened and sent a waitress to tell us that our food won’t be long. Of course we were starved at this point but the food still hadn’t arrived. With no apology or explanation as to what happened we were fed up and left. I’m sure this is a lovely place but the managers attitude left much to be desired. When we returned 3 weeks later he refused to serve us despite us having been the ones left waiting for food for almost 2 hours. His reason? He felt he’d been spoken to poorly. I think anyone in our position would have been throughly annoyed. Decor looks nice though 🙂

When we are going out for breakfast in Ruislip we usually choose Granero lounge as it is a safe choice because the breakfasts are always up to a high standard. The service was fantastic as usual today,the staff as always were really friendly and the service was very quick today. The food was absolutely delicious this morning,they have so many gluten free options available which is amazing. The Bacon butty with the Sausage on the side was really delicious. The Chorizo and the Hash Browns were delicious. The Hash Browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Toast was lovely,the gluten free Bread was delicious and fluffy. The Jam added a nice flavour. I love the decor and the atmosphere in here. The pictures are lovely and I loved the chilled music playing in the background. I would highly recommend Granero Lounge for a breakfast option.

Hot chocolate had hardly any chocolate in it. This was redone. Also their sausages hardly spent much time in the frying pan. We eat with our eyes and although I'm aware they had been in the oven prior (sweated) they looked very anaemic with no crisp. Sadly after my 3rd visit, I will not be returning.

Love this place. Food always excellent. We've been a few times and found the service quick. Staff polite. Atmosphere great. The interior is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit. The cheesy chips were super delicious and the burgers were great.

I went there for lunch with a friend and had a brilliant time. The food was delicious and the service was quick. I'm not giving 5 stars because I tried to get there for Saturday lunch twice and we were told the kitchen had long delays (we'll Iver half an hour). But if you can get in, you're in for a treat!

Very helpful staff who helped with the table booking when they wouldn't normally take a booking. Food has always been great whenever I have visited

Brilliant lunch (again!!) Dog friendly (chef gave a complimentary sausage to each of our dogs!) Friendly staff, relaxing environment & great food - we had Halloumi burger & vegan burger - good size & inexpensive. Looking forward to returning soon!!

Normally love this place but bar people served several other people before us for no reason. Bar people were very rude when we were perfectly polite. Avoid.

Ordered a Quesadilla and got two measly triangles, as soon as I took a bite juice dripped out of the quesadilla like a tap. It stained my trousers, as I was reaching for a tissue I had realised tissues were not provided to us. The hot chocolate was served lukewarm. The oat cappuccino was perfect. Atmosphere and decor is great, however the air was a bit stuffy. I would visit again for a coffee but il have to pass on the food.

Went for lunch here for the first time today. Had the smashed avocado plate and a couple of beers and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was too notch. Will definitely return.

The food was amazing, we ordered Big Veggie Breakfast and Moroccan Aubergine Flatbread and the food was so yummy and delicious .. the atmosphere was very nice and the staff are fantastic, friendly, positive and polite .. will definitely come back again

Great atmosphere, a little pricey, but the food is always excellent. Service can be a little slow sometimes - particularly around busier times - but not excessively so.

A short visit to have some mulled wine and bites. The mulled wine was not brewing in a pot, but made instantly, which is not what I expected. It was however ok. All orders need to be made at the bar, which you need to bear in mind. Great interiors and friendly staff. The food looked good too, however we only had a quick bite. Wouldn't mind another visit!

Alex worked so hard to make our office night out a success. She was always on the go. Almost as if in training for the next Olympics. Staff excellent. Value excellent.

So unexpectedly ended up in Granero Lounge, after 2 years of opening, we finally got here It has a great atmosphere with fantastic friendly staff The food is lush, there is quite a bit to choose from, so something to please everyone We think reasonably priced for this day and age Our bill came to £95 for 2 2 x avocado breakfasts and extra poached egg 1 x marmite toast - rude not to 2 x Vanilla and blueberry cheese cake with fresh blueberries, which made it taste so much better 1 x latte 1 x bottle of wine 2 x non alcohol bottles of Moretti 1 x pint of Moretti We had a lovely evening, thank you and definitely would recommend

A fantastic local delight of a place. Stunning decor which lends itself to a beautiful atmosphere, very warm and inviting. A soothing place to eat, work remotely, relax etc. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were warm and friendly, not something you encounter often these days. A breath of fresh air in the locality. I been 4 times now :)

We went to the Granero Lounge in Ruislip today for breakfast.The service was great,staff very polite,we did not have to wait for long at all for breakfast.The food was delicious,really enjoyed my bacon and saussage butty,full of flavour,tasty,made even better with the new gluten free toast.The hash browns and chorizo was delicious.The gluten free toast is full of flavour and so delicious with the seeds as a bonus,actually my favourite part of the breakfast now and a huge improvement. Loved the butter and jam too.Nice decor,nice music,clean.

Perfect service and a cosy, warm atmosphere. But, my meal was very bad, blandest food I've had out in a while. I will say that my friend enjoyed her meal, just told me the portion wasn't enough. It was a nice enough place that I'll go back to give a different meal a try.

I recently visited Granero Lounge in Ruislip for breakfast, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. My girlfriend ordered an English fry-up, and partway through her meal, she discovered a small cooked spider on her plate. While they did apologise, the situation was extremely off-putting, and it raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards. Finding something like that in food is unacceptable for any dining establishment. Given the nature of the incident, we won’t be returning to Granero Lounge. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their food preparation processes to avoid something like this happening again. I would think second about visiting this place.

The art deco decor was amazing and the service was great and the food was hot. Lovely and relaxed at lunch time.

1 we had burgers this time. They were also very good. Cosy relaxing place to be 0 Another good "lounge"! At least as good as others I've visited. Staff were good. Great attention was paid to food presentation. Our meals looked, and tasted, really good.

Went here for dinner last night,it was delicious.As always,got to love Granero lounge and the loungers chain.They are so consistent.Amazing gluten free menu,friendly all the time across this branch and others in the country and brilliant food(breakfast,lunch,dinner,dessert,tapas,drinks).I went for the gluten free halloumi burger,this came with the salad,halloumi,hummus,sauce and what makes the burger the burger,hmmmmm,the gluten free bun!It was all delicious.The chips were tasty and the slaw was delicious and fresh.I also ordered bbq chicken wings and chorizo tapas to the side,it was absolutely delicious.Sets you up but not too filling.The staff were friendly and despite it was almost at full capacity it was quick.The restaurant and toilets were clean.The help yourself to water is great,the lemonade was delicious too.The atmosphere is lovely,they do live music and toddler and parent groups.You can play games and read books during the meal.The decor is very nice too.Would highly recommend.

We went to the lounge this morning,it was an excellent meal!The service is good as usual,quick and friendly and despite that you can get cutlery yourself the server was kind enough to bring some to us.The atmosphere and decor is lovely.The food was exceptional as per usual.The sausage butty was delicious and I like the gluten free bun,it was so tasty.The chorizo portion was massive and the chorizo was delicious.The mushrooms were delicious and I liked the light herb they were in.The bacon was delicious and well cooked and the hash browns were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and delicious.The gluten free toast was delicious and adding the jam and butter added flavour.A huge breakfast to start the day,very filling,tasty and piping hot.Would highly recommend a lounge breakfast especially at Granero in Ruislip.

Overall it's a nice experience. The restaurant looks very good with nice lighting.plus small amounts of outdoor seating. And if you sit near the front when it's hot they open up the front windows for you if that's something that interests you. The staff were very friendly. But you need to get up if you needed anything extra which I don't mind doing. Food: I ordered a cowboy burger smash burger. The patties were paper thin but It was my fault for not realising it was a smashburger. It was nice overall and even came with pulled pork and a fried egg in the burger. My friends and family mostly had tapas which they all enjoyed. The only negative is that the restaurant doesn't look like it has any air conditioning/ circulation system in place. So it can get a bit stuffy and if you have hay fever it might make it act up like one of our group members. Overall the food was over priced but with the UK's economy right now, pretty much everyone is doing the same. But I would recommend it and see if you like it or not.

We go to granero lounge in Ruislip for Breakfast regularly as it is our family choice for breakfast as in my personal opinion the loungers does the best quality breakfast by far from anywhere else.It is a very casual chilled vibe with lovely decor and a lovely atmosphere.The staff are really friendly and service was quick.The food was so delicious and so accommodating to gluten free with almost every option from the main menu on the gluten free menu.The saussage butty was so delicious.I also ordered bacon,hash browns,chorizo and gluten free toast.It was so delicious.The hash brown was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and tasty.The gluten free toast was fantastic too,what is a clever idea is that they use gluten free burger buns for the toast and you get the butter and jam accompanied with it.It tasted so delicious,especially with the butter and jam.There is parking in the high street and in the roads and car parks nearby.Would reccomend sitting upstairs by the window,we always sit there when we are here as the view of the high street is lovely.Also there is a bus stop nearby too.Toilets are clean and live music is performed at granero lounge regularly.Would highly recommend this place,it’s a great option for breakfast(I would suggest it if you are staying in the premier inn in Ruislip as there is no beefeater next door anymore sadly).Cannot wait to return.

drinks are ok but service is bad. stuff doesn't want to be there. they don't clear the tables. very late service. i think they need to find stuff that wants to serve and likes their job

A very lovely place. Food is really nice and the staff are very friendly. We had 2 English breakfast and bacon pancakes. Everything was delicious and the portions are good. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend.

What a gem! Truly a charming establishment. There was a blonde woman there who was so personable and felt so genuine to me, for some reason I was surprised! From the kindness to how they provide back to their community; it’s exactly what I look for in great establishments such as this one! Thanks everyone!

Honestly, this place stands out for its beautiful decor, great hangout for large crowds, unusually healthy menu with its array of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Great place for a coffee, snack, lunch with a lively and pleasant atmosphere surrounded by beautiful decor! Really well decorated 😍 very spacious. The food quality seemed mediocre. A recurrent issue was that the tables have hard dried on food stuck to it and sometimes seem to be sticky…just like the Red Onion restaurant, a few doors down…I had to walk around, dismissing 3 tables because they had crumbs on them and/or hardened sauce stuck onto them. Luckily there were plenty of available tables to choose from however I had to settle for a table with hardened sauce on it. This place also has a wide range of cuisines from all day breakfasts to flatbreads and sundaes and cocktails! I had a few tapas items (hummus, beef quesadilla, edamame guacamole, fritters) that tasted ok. Unfortunately they weren’t memorably tasty. Ok value for money. Though the all day breakfasts didn’t seem good value for money. Ordering was efficient 👍using a QR code to place your order Staff were friendly and efficient Toilets were clean and well stocked but dimly lit and could do with an upgrade. Liked how the loo roll was unexposed and inside a holder 👍

Visited for breakfast, food came out lukewarm, bacon was cheap and mostly fat, beans were mainly sauce, eggs were served on top of the toast which rendered it soggy, scrambled eggs were literally blitzed fried eggs and were grainy and inedible, Orange juice was warm and sour, staff were ok, maybe a bit flippant in their attitude…. Would not recommend or visit again.

A very nice place to grab brunch on a weekend. The interior is a good mix of old and new. The food was good and there are a lot of games available to spend the time before your order comes. There is a separate vegan menu as well. So vegetarians have a large selection available.

I visited today at lunch time with a friend and was over the moon to discover Granero Lounge has a WHOLE Gluten Free menu. There was so much to choose from! And while they cannot guarantee 100% of no cross contaminations, the chefs try their very best, and that is so much more than most places offer. I had the Buttermilk Chicken with chips, barbecue sauce & slaw and it was divine! Kieran & Nicky were the two people who stood out for me, and on a whole the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was lovely and I will be visiting again soon. This Coeliac is very happy. Thank you so much!

Not very homely. As you order on your app never really know the staff. Ridiculous price for a fish finger sandwich and desserts. We stopped at cheaper dessert place on way home.

This is our second visit to Granero Lounge, Ruislip. All 5 of our meals were nice and with the exception of a salad all arrived at the same time even though some of us ordered via their app and others at the bar. The background music was a little bit loud but the experience as a whole was very good. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. They have good Gluten meal choices too.

We had brunch, the food was nice however the pouched egg was overcooked and very hard. The head waiter came and examined the eggs before they gave us replacements eggs, which were a lot better.

Wow, what a huge let down. The best thing about this restaurant is actually outside it, the outside looks very nice and inviting but once inside be prepared to be disappointed. Please if anyone takes a fancy to a delicious fish finger sandwich be warned it’s very very poor and over priced. Myself and my family will not be back, staff were very dull the coke was flat and don’t get me started on the art….😁

Had a family meal here today. Service was great as was the food. The staff were really attentive and wonderful with the kids. Eating out in Ruislip is expensive but we, as a family of seven had mains, sides, drinks and desserts for £130. Highly recommended.

We have been here several times and like getting the tapas. It's a nice atmosphere and welcoming for families (we have a 3 year old). They always give us some colouring for her and in the corner they have some kids books and few toys too. The food is really tasty.

I've tried this place twice based on reviews and it's popularity. Sorry to say but I found the food lacking in both instances. First time around, all items in my breakfast plate arrived half cooked (raw from the core). Second time as well, the food lacked any decent flavour and tasted of lots of oil. Additionally, the service is appalling. There is barely any staff on the floor, I believe the place is understaffed. You have to wait ages to get even a glass of water. You are expected to place your order using the QR code, and then have no one to tell you how long your food will take. Both times I visited, I had to wait about 30 mins for my food to arrive. I would give this place a miss since food is not upto the mark, service is really slow and it's not like the place is cheap. You can get much better flavour in food and value for your money in other cafes on Ruislip high street.

We went here for a mid-week Christmas meal.We had a fabulous time at granero lounge tonight as always.The service was on top form tonight,very friendly waiter and efficient service we were in and out in about half an hour which was good as we needed the service to be quite quick tonight as there was a school and work tommorow but at the same time we were celebrating a big celebration so wanted to treat ourselves for a dinner out to celebrate!The food was divine as always too,I had the roses truffle chicken today the chicken,bacon,potato tots,mushrooms,Parmesan and broccoli was all delicious.I also loved the tapas too,I had the bbq chicken wings it was delicious,bbq sauce was delicious too(it should be sold here just like they are doing at tgi Fridays).The chicken itself was delicious and a generous portion of leek too.The Bombay spice chicken wings were really good too,tasted lovely and full of flavour and not spicy atal.If you arnet a keen fan of spice and don’t want it too often (like me) I would highly recommend it,that’s why I always get the lemon and herb chicken at Nando’s.The food is all so good.Same as the bread and hummus.Food was nice and hot too.I love the unlimited water too.The atmosphere was lovely too and I love the Christmas decs.It’s lovely to see they have a food bank,that is a really nice touch and adds to the lounges community vibe.Would highly recommend!!!!!!!

What a find - we have now been twice to this place and the staff and servicing have been really helpful on each occasion especially taking 4 kids too. Food it very good and the level of care taken when special dietary requirements are requested is brilliant. Highly recommended. A big thank you to Megan and the whole team to be honest.

A lovely find, being a dog owning coeliac! A great place to stop and have coffee and a light breakfast. Great care is taken to ensure food is made separately to avoid contamination. Haven’t had any issues here to date. And I’ve been a few times as I feel safe. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. And…you can bring your dog, well behaved of course! Thank you Granero Lounge!

We went for a lunch (three friends) and one of my friends breakfasts came 35 minutes later than our food. We raised this with the manager who said it was simply part of the ordering process, and refused to give a refund. We then raised this a second time and a second member of staff started loudly arguing with us in the restaurant before finally offering a refund. Do not go here, avoid at all costs, the service is terrible and the food is average (for the humble price of £20 for a fry up and hot drink)…

First time , we were pleasantly surprised. Very large inside, varied menu food and drinks plus coffees.

Unfortunately our experience was not good. Our poached eggs were hard and food barely warm. The food came out at all different times. Items missing from plates.
