We are from out the area staying at a b&b nearby and was recommended to come here as it was ment to be good Well as you can see I’ve only rated it 1 star There was a barmaid that couldn’t understand what drinks we wanted and got them wrong I had to explain what wanted and now to serve them The food came out and I was really disappointed as this place was ment to be the bees knees my chips where so over cooked they where hollow inside NOT very nice at all I had a fried egg that I think had been cooked and I think put in the fridge as it was so cold My wife’s haddock was lovely but her chips where the same as mine hollow and over done We were sitting next to another couple and they were moaning about there dinner I think she said her scampi was like a conquer and if she had thrown it at a window it would probably have broke it and gone through it This was not cheep meal by no means and I can safely say that I wont every recommended the white horse or return here .

A perfect end to our trip to London. The haddock and chips was a piece of fish as long as my forearm, and probably the best I’ve had anywhere I’ve traveled. It was a great place for some drinks and dinner. Friendly locals and bartender. Not busy at all, which was a nice change from downtown London. My only complaint is we didn’t find this place sooner!

Excellent pub adjacent to the airport hotels on Bath Road. Doom Bar, Exmoor Ale and Wadsworth Horizon on tap when we visited. The Horizon was excellent. Friendly prompt service which really made us feel welcome. The pub is tiny inside and watch out for the low ceiling. We sat in the covered area outside which was fine despite the autumnal chill. Good quality home cooked food with generous portions. Definitely the place to try if you're stopping over the night before a flight. Five stars to the White Horse team

This is a really nice old pub, it's cozy. It's set in a village that now is right next to the main runways at Heathrow airport. There are plane landing every few minutes during the day so can get loud if seated outside. The pub has a central bar area which I believe is 17th century - it has exposed wood work and a really nice fireplaces. There is outdoor seating to the front and a makeshift beer garden area to the other side which I did feel was a little tacky, it seems to be a "makeshift structure" which really takes away from the main charm of the building. Also there was an indoor type home speaker just bolted up to the side wall outside which was the first item I saw when I went out. The beer was fine but was "central London" prices and I know this is likely since there is a fair contingent of tourists from the nearby hotels but the bill can rack up pretty quick if you're having a few pints. The bargirl who served us was lovely and the food was overall pretty good (again a little pricy). I did feel it was a good stop. Would recommend if you are a tourist in the local area to have a pint and some food. I personally would sit inside to soak up the character of the old part of the building and would be really nice in winter with the fire. Also, note the gents inside only has urinals, you have to go to the beer garden area if you need to use more extensive facilities. Finally, if you are a tourist staying in Hounslow, there are direct bus routes outside so you do not need to get a Uber/cab.

Great English pub. Exactly what you would expect but a short bus ride from the airport. Tried the ale and like it. I hope they don't tear it down for another runway at Heathrow. 500 years of history in a nice little village. Well, 5 years ago, they were threatening to tear this pub and village down. So glad to see from recent reviews that it still stands. If I ever get back to England I hope to stop in again.

We stayed at a nearby hotel but saw this pub on the way there. My wife and I took a stroll to check it out, stayed for a drink, and then decided to get our kids (9, 12 and 15) to join us rather than eating at the hotel. Friendly staff and great food. Really happy we found this place. Limited kids menu for the little one, but she was happy with sausage and garlic bread. Awesome chips! We came here from a near by hotel, after missing a flight... We are a family with two children (14 and 11 years old). The pub looks so authentic and beautiful. We had the lasagna Verdi, the double bacon cheeseburger and potatoes with sausages. The food is amazing!! Big portions, super tasty, and we almost finished it all. We also had the apple crumble with ice cream which was finished so fast, that I didn't have time to take a photo of it. Can't say I'd love to miss another flight, but it's definitely on my "come back again" list. Thank you for the good time here.

We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn and spotted this lovely pub a short walk away. Having compared the 2 menus, they were comparable in price so obviously we decided on The White Horse. The pub and staff were lovely. However, the prices weren't! The (very tiny) prices on the menu bore no resemblance to those on their website. Fish and chips had risen from £19 to £25, lasagne from £11 to £21! Our burgers were fine but £18?! We felt misled. The website must be years out of date. If it had been current, we might have saved ourselves a walk in the rain and a whole load of money!

The White Horse Pub is located in a tiny village almost under the flight path at Heathrow. A traditional old pub with bags of character, the place is easily accessible from Terminal 5 by local bus (maybe about 5 minutes if that). It is so easy to escape Heathrow and eat locally Unless you are visiting in Summer or in good weather, go early as the seating for food in the bar is limited (the outdoor patio complete with heaters is huge). We settled on fish and chips for the two of us and some decent beer and really enjoyed our meal. The portions were huge but fresh.

Got stuck at the airport overnight on our way back to the States. We were put up close at a hotel so we searched for local pubs. The White Horse had good reviews. Watch your head! You walk down a couple of stairs and need to duck to get into the pub. It was great! Great service, friendly patrons, quaint and it had plenty of locals to talk to. I give the food a 5, because we went there for the ambience and drinks. Not for the food. The good food was a bonus. If we had gone out for food, I would rate it a 4. We had the dirty chips, beef stew, lasagna Verdi and spicy squid. The chips could have been covered more with the toppings. The spicy fried squid was good. The lasagna could have used more seasonings. The beef stew was perfect. So, no complaints. If you choose to smoke, there's an outdoor area that is covered where you can eat, drink and enjoy your tobacco. The bathrooms were extremely clean. You can tell that the whole crew at this place cares about customer satisfaction. And they will do their best to take care of you. Great experience!

Having been to this pub on a number of occasions when staying at Heathrow we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We stopped in once again this week and the staff were friendly as always but they have ramped up their prices significantly. £6.90 for a pint and they wanted £25 for fish and chips. Sorry, but that's just ridiculous. So we drank our pints and left and went elsewhere for food. Unfortunately you've just lost regular customers. These prices are more than the hotel room service 5 minutes up the road.
