Went to this cafe the other day was very amazing got served by a young lady named Angela. She was very kind and is a very hard worker yet always has a smile in her face. She also made me and my friend a luxury hot chocolate and it tasted amazing, I would definitely come again.

We visited this gem of a cafe prior to attending a family funeral at the nearby Breakspear Crematorium. The location was easy to find and when we visited, not very busy. The 'Full English' I had was beautifully cooked and my companion's sausage baguette was also very tasty. The breakfast came with cooked & chopped fresh tomatoes; having eaten many thousands of cooked breakfasts over many years all around the world, this one was the first one I had ever had with that particular combination. Toast & tea included in the price made it superb value. Oh, and my companion's reaction to the first sip of her 'Black Americano' was that it was "unexpectedly good coffee" for a garden centre cafe. So - well done, Ducks Hill, highly recommended by this happy customer. And by the way, the resident cat was charming!

Have been going to the cafe for sometime as the food is excellent and very tasty. Today though very embarrassed for the young lad who works in the cafe cause of the way his own team member was talking to him as if he was something that she stood in. No one deserves to be treated like that especially in front of customers to which I will be reporting this to the management. I have always found the staff to be friendly, courteous but today I was disgusted that they have this person who was serving and treating this poor lad that way. Really appalled that this happened.

Found this garden centre by chance, and popped in to see if they had a cafe. Great little cafe, excellent friendly service, and good, tasty food, reasonably priced. I browsed the garden centre too and was delighted to find some lovely plants that I haven't found elsewhere. Well presented, sensible prices, and a joy to browse and shop. Again, in the indoor sales area I found some great, useful items I hadn't seen before. I certainly enjoyed my meal and unexpected shopping opportunity, and will definitely be shopping (and eating) there again. Thanks guys, you really made my day.

No I would not go again. Two of us stood waiting for service. Totally ignored by the staff, what a pity the garden centre staff were very helpful.

If you fancy a cup of tea, toasted panini and cake whilst wandering around a garden centre you can't go wrong. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Quick and helpful service and excellent Christmas pudding though the promised brandy butter seemed to be cream.

Good location and food choices. Lacklustre staff though and portions rather mean! The Garden Centre itself has a good range of plants with helpful and knowledgable staff. The indoor shop is very good for small gifts.

This is a nice place to have a relaxing cuppa etc, but it's not great value for money when it comes to service - and especially portion sizes. The staff are pleasant enough. Children's portions certainly aren't enough for a relatively hungry 6/7 year old. They used to be larger. Would be nice to see it all improve

I have not been to Ducks Hill garden centre for some time as last time I found the service lacking, sadly I went back today to buy some plant food and once again no one there is prepared to help you, give advice or even show where anything is. As before you get someone on the till saying "its somewhere over there". I would have thought an integral part of being a garden centre is to have helpful, caring staff on hand to assist you. Look like Dicks Hill garden centre is consistently bad if nothing else!

Came here recently for food. After completely messing up our order, the female chef was incredibly rude. The food was overpriced and the service incredibly poor. A young guy from the cafe 'Jake' was very helpful and rectified the situation. Will not be returning!!!!

Nice to find a non corporate eatery where you dont already know the menu when you go in. Pleasant staff and very good fresh cooked food from a menu with excellent choices for light snacks. A friend took me here on a weekend trip away, he often uses for visitors to take them somewhere different. The place has a good vibe and at a guess has a loyal following of regulars. Highly recommend.

We visited this interesting little cafe at the Ducks Hill Garden Centre last week. Staff were helpful and pleasant but under some pressure because it was busy. Service was reasonably fast but tables could be cleared more quickly. Food quality was good. The pie, mash, veg and gravy was good value. Most meals are around the £5 mark. Great to wander around the garden centre after eating. The garden centre is about three hundred yards from the Ruislip Lido entrance, if you fancy a long walk to work off lunch.

Lovely place to have breakfast or lunch, whenever a friend comes to see me I always take them here, everything I've had is always nice, my favourite is the prawn jacket potato, it's served with coleslaw, nice mixed salad and lots of filling on the potato, well worth a visit. Also garden centre is nice to look around!

It is a costa, there are plenty of seating inside. I have been here a few times and thieves seem to visit often taking peoples bags. Coffee is ok, they often run out of food.
