The best restaurants serving Default food in City of London, Westminster London

Magical evening. We started with drinks at Eve bar and had some delicious cocktails. We then went upstairs to the dining room and the staff talked us through the menu. They were fantastic at adapting dishes to meet my dietary requirements. I’m very sensitive to certain flavours in additional to allergies. They couldn’t do enough to make my experience as enjoyable as possible. Even taking out the things I didn’t like and not just allergies. I wasn’t treated as fussy but as a diner that deserved the same experience as anyone else. Every dish was incredible. Full of surprises and creativity. Flavours and dishes were combinations that were completely unique but every one was perfectly balanced and executed. If we weren’t aware of the zero waste ethos you would never know the beautiful additions to dishes was a product of maintaining this policy. Nothing was there for the sake of it, every element elevated the dishes we were served. Service from both the waiting staff and the sommelier was at the highest level. Wine pairings and cocktail recommendations were perfectly matched to the dishes. Each were unusual and surprising, adding to the experience. A wonderful night all round, worth every penny. I can’t wait to return.

Okay burger, but amazing chicken! The portions where big and we got stuffed. The service was really nice and we all left with a smile, Veronika did a good job hosting us :)

Consistently great pizza. Fab flavours. Only critique would be that my daughter always orders the extra mozzarella and we can’t tell the difference on her margharita over the others and it’s not marked!

A welcome return after 2 years. Very friendly reception, even moving us to a more comfortable table when one became available. It is small but has a real family feel. My pizza was the biggest I have ever been served and was particularly tasty by ordering an extra portion of Gorgonzola. If you haven’t tried it please do so. Very reasonably priced and not to be missed.

This is very unique and lovely experience. The food is excellent quality, looks and tastes very good, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Alex was a lovely and energetic host. I will certainly return and I highly recommend them. You can enjoy a pleasant meal while sightseeing beautiful London. Forgot to mention the music, which blended perfectly with food and created an even better atmosphere!

I am a solo female from USA and stayed a total of 9 nights. The staff and management were attentive to all my needs and I felt safe. The food and service was very good. There are many restaurants/stores are around the area.. The room was extremely clean, you can regulate your temperature and they have room service if you desire. They gave me a new chocolate bar and 2 fresh waters every day. There isn’t an elevator but the stairs are manageable. Over all I would definitely return and highly recommend.

A really delightful evening ... food was delicious; wine pairing was delicious ... all made even better by Lucy and her team who made us feel as if we were the only guests on the boat!! Thank you!!

First time trying here- I’ll definitely be back- very friendly staff and delicious food!

Every bit as old and unchanged as I’d been led to believe. Slightly underwhelming experience. Chap who served me was delightful but there was clearly a tense atmosphere between the staff members. I was interested in buying a few bags of different house blends (having done research online ) but only one was available it seemed. It’s very nice but that’s all. I’d hoped to do some tastings at home and choosing my favourite. I’d definitely go again though.

Upscale restaurant with a Michelin star described as “modern Indian”. Food is expertly and delicately spiced. Every dish is exceptional, from mains to dall, naan and rice. Every dish is taken to another level.

All the positive comments I can countersign. I´m joining the cafe since last two years and I never got disappointed. What a wonderful athmosphere, service is fantastic, Serg and Dan are great hosts and the food is always amazing, freshly made with lots of love and details. I highly recommend the sandwich chicken Milanese and the fresh made orange juice. I hope it will exists for next 100 years.
