My second visit and it was once again delicious! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and delightful and flavourful food!

Starter - Butternut and ginger with coconut cream soup with side order of coco bread 10/10 delicious 😋 I would have had a second bowl if I could have managed it. Main - Monkfish tail in shellfish sauce with buttery mash, Ma's Benachin Gambian national rice and grilled stem broccoli outstanding. Gambian rice highly seasoned and not what I was expecting. Still tasty. Loved it. Dessert - Winter fruit crumble tart with Madagascar vanilla gelato! Struggled to finish but wasn't going to leave a scrap! This was a dining experience to remember. I ticked this off my list of fine dining! Surpassed all my expectations! Myrtle the manager at Papa L's Kitchen was welcoming, friendly and made my experience enjoyable. The service was good. Meecha my server was very attentive. Overall I would highly recommend dining at Papa L's Kitchen. I will be back.

Absolutely delicious food. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Try the mixed vegetarian option with injeera (which is all gluten free by the way!)

I have absolutely no idea how or why this place gets good reviews - it's like they're all reviewing a different restaurant! The food here was simply terrible. Starters were not too bad, although the waitress struggled to understand the difference between 'hot' and 'cold'. Our table was under a bright white neon light that might have been appropriate for a nasty surgical procedure but was not exactly gentle and welcoming for a cozy dinner. Still, we could live with all that... except the main course was truly dreadful. I had a lamb stew which turned out to be bits of greasy meat swimming in some sort of grey liquid, and the veggie stuff was either tasteless or actually unpleasant. The guy that runs the place was perfectly friendly but nobody cleared away our (largely uneaten) plates for what seemed like an age and the waitress, though also friendly and smiley, seemed to have disappeared altogether. Nor was it cheap - nearly £80 for two - which was just a joke really. I love Ethiopian food, but this place - never again.

We went to Stork restaurant in Mayfair. It was a treat from my daughter for my birthday. We were welcomed by the team and looked after by Chris. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you all for a lovely lunch! We would certainly recommend dining at Stork.

Food was perfect and different (in a very good way) to tasting menus I've had in other Michelin starred restaurants. Each course was delicious, but the highlight for me was the longhorn beef and jollof rice. That rice was incredible. The spicing level was perfect, not hot enough to blow your head off, but you definitely knew it was there. I had moimoi years ago, but Akoko's version was on another level. Portion sizes were generous, and this meal was excellent value for money. Service was professional, and welcoming. Pleasant staff, very friendly. The Akoko pairing was also a welcome change to just wine. It was lovely to have something different. The whole experience was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely return.

Met up at 1.30pm as a group of five, sat outside as previously arranged - all very pretty and started well. But it went downhill from there. One person tore a 15cm gash in his trousers from the sharp metal table corner and another had a drink tipped over him as the waiter went to serve another. It took 40 minutes to get the first lot of drinks. We had to ask twice to order food and despite us explaining that we were on a limited time, it took 90 minutes from sitting down for the food to come out. We were only ordering mezzes so not complicated dishes. Not all the food or drinks came out - not all the order had been sent to the kitchen. We had to go through the bill by item as it appeared that we were not going to be billed properly. We had to argue strongly for any recompense for the spoiled clothing from the spillage. Nothing was forthcoming for the torn trousers as "the waiter didn't see it happen". Not a happy event. Food was not bad but not worth the rest of the experience.

The restaurant is next door to the Rubens at the Palace which is where we were staying. The food is very good and the maitre'd Ian is the best. He's friendly outgoing and attentive to all his customers. We enjoyed him as much as we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was busy but not over crowded. Definitely a good spot for a meal.

Alibaba An authentic Egyptian restaurant, cooked by an Egyptian family consisting of a father and mother. The place is far from Al-Agward Street and close to Ringgit Park. I had dinner there, the shop was empty and quiet. Suitable for lovers of quiet restaurants and suitable for conservative families due to the small number of people, and it is worth the trip Menu in pictures A simple menu that includes the most important popular dishes The employees are kind and respectful. The food is delicious and clearly home cooking for a delicious Egyptian meal 😋. Prices are affordable and cheaper than other Alagaward Road restaurants. Thank you to the honorable sister who received us, served food, and finally took a family photo of our last dinner before we traveled back. It will be on my list of restaurants when I visit London

Ate here before attending Madonna concert, food was good, portions size was good, a little over-priced we thought, especially the beer, and wine, but it is London after all, waiter ( Alex ) was brilliant, friendly, efficient, and always smiling, we would eat here again when we attend our next event at the 02...

South African inspired menu, filling and leftovers can be wrapped in foil to bring home. I had the burger, cheese and bacon were extra. Tasty, but bacon a bit overcooked for my liking. Drinks were good and it's a nice quiet location (north bank of Thames, close to Millennium Bridge).

This was extremely tasty. The mea were good, the vegetables were good. Hell! Even the bloody rice was delicious. I definitely recommend this if you need a quick meal that’s good. They also broadcast live soccer matches to watch while your foods getting cooked.
