We went to Stork restaurant in Mayfair. It was a treat from my daughter for my birthday. We were welcomed by the team and looked after by Chris. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you all for a lovely lunch! We would certainly recommend dining at Stork.

I’ve been here before, and the food is always good but today was extra special! The food was delicious!! But the service was EXCELLENT!! Christian was attentive, kind, accommodating and knew the dishes like the back of his hand! We will definitely be back (again 😉) 10/10

I chose this venue for a friend's catch up and achievement celebrations, and we were all quite happy with our choice. The venue decor is beautiful and I loved the African touches; food-wise I loved everything from the starters and mains, the wine was amazing-- a good recommendation by Ricardo who was also very attentive and professional. I even got surprised with a congratulations dessert. I cannot wait to visit again soon.

I have never had to write a review after only finishing the starter dishes. This place is incredible. The usage of modern flair on cultural African flavors…beyond words. The beignets and fish stew are must tries. If you don’t visit this restaurant, you are missing out. Amazing and friendly staff too. Still saying wow. Great job Stork, one of my all time favorite restaurants.

Great ambience, excellent food, wonderful and friendly staff. Big shout out to Chris who was our waiter and host for the evening. Chris worked hard and served us excellently with a smile. Ich habe leider die Namen der zwei Kellner vergessen vom 11.05.2024 spätabends. Wir waren anfangs skeptisch ob das Essen noch gut sein wird, da es schon so spät war. Das Essen hat so unglaublich gut geschmeckt ,Jollof Reis die Jerk Chicken Wings ich denke immer noch an das Essen geschmacklich nicht zu übertreffen würde wieder kommen. 😍

I had the pleasure of dining at Stork in Mayfair tonight. Opee was our server and he was excellent. The food was great, the service was wonderful. The vibe is great and the afrobeats playing in the back made the experience even better. I would definitely visit again.

Went to Stork to celebrate mine and my Mrs 6th anniversary. We were served by Israel who made it his mission to ensure we had a great time. From great food and drink reccomendations to responding happily to any question - both restaurant and non restaurant related- that we asked. His reccomendations didn't go wrong as the food was out of this world and will leave you stuffed with a happy face. We will both definitely be back

My wife surprised me to a birthday dinner here and we enjoyed ourselves, thoroughly. We have both been here prior but not together - it was an enjoyable evening and celebration. Opee, our waiter was attentive to our needs and was exceptionally pleasant. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of the food on this occasion but I must say…very generous portions!

Had not previously experienced African cuisine . Primarily West African dishes. I had the chicken mafe (Senegal) which was excellent. Our server , Ricardo, was exceptionally attentive and knowledg- eable about all the dishes. My wife and I enjoyed our evening at “Stork” very much and would definitely return and/or bring friends and family next time in London.

Easter Sunday lunch booking was a well deserved treat. We were warmly greeted at reception and offered to have our coats checked. Our server was Ola who was a delight. He guided us through the choice of menus and we opted for the 3 course set menu £35.00. The starters were the fish soup (delicious) and ackee tartlets. For the main we went with the african red chicken stew with both jolloff and fragrant rice (I love rice) and the Caribbean curry goat. Both very flavoursome but the curry goat could have had a more enhanced curry flavour. Both very enjoyable. Dessert was pear and ginger crumble with custard. Great experience. Our serve Oka was very attentive and made the experience enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back.

A friend recommended I visit Stork and I was intrigued as I had never been to a restaurant serving Pan African dishes. I was seriously impressed! Ricardo guided me throughout the evening explaining how dishes were either from the sea or the land. My lamb starter comprised of 3 croquettes which had a meaty flavour and were the perfect quantity. The Harrissa mayonnaise added a comfortable hit of heat. The chicken duo was a great portion size, with a really different flavour and decent heat. Extra sua spice was on the side for extra heat. Okra fritters had a kj spice. I asked for a recommendation for a sauce and Kwame brought back a Shito sauce – the texture, flavour and cool temperature provided the perfect compliment and elevated the fritters. The meal was outstanding. Combined with African beat music and a beautifully designed interior, I highly recommend Stork.

This venue is beautiful. It has a elegant and relaxed ambience that can be hard to find in such a busy city. The drinks look stunning and, taste as good as they look. I recommend Lily of the Nile, for those who enjoy Don Julio with a fruity twist. The food is amazing, perhaps the best Jollof rice one will find here in London. I can’t thank the staff enough, especially my server Ola, for making my visit so special. I can’t wait to come back!

Nice African fusion restaurant with a DJ on site playing some lovely Afro music. The food can be better. I felt my meal was not spicy enough and the chef explained that my meal is not meant to be spicy. I asked for some pepper but was offered flakes which was not peppery at all. We were fortunate to have a person introduce us to The Stork. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was outstanding. Ricardo and the rest of the service personnel gave us a great experience. We will be back!!!!!! The food was different and with its pan African theme was very diverse. I am not sure if it was deliberate but we had only one main menu card, we were also offered the set menu. But with a single interesting main menu my wife and I had a great time choosing, discussing and pondering on our choices. This will forever change how we order in new restaurants as we thoroughly enjoyed discussing the dishes and it was an excellent way to start lunch in a new venue. Well done to the team, I would suggest more venues adopt this approach, much more personal and interactive. As for the food, excellent the highest possible praise is all I can say, and the bill was way lower than we had expected. We will be back I have no doubt. Thank you Team Stork 'You are too fine'

We came for a late valentines celebration at lunch time and Ola was our wonderful waiter. The service was great and the decor and ambience was beautiful. Ola was great! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience at Stork. He even took us on a tour of the venue after our meal too. The food was flavoursome and great portion sizes. As we came at lunch, we had 3 courses at a very affordable price and the venue wasn’t too busy. Overall a great experience! Looking forward to coming back.

My partner and I came for an anniversary dinner. The food, drinks and service were exceptional. I loved how the music and flavours of the food were not compromised and paid perfect homage to Africa. The server asked us our reason for our visit and when we said it was an anniversary dinner, he brought out an additional plate with truffles and ‘happy anniversary’ written on it. A really lovely touch. I will be visiting again.

My review is focussed on the lack of customer service and creativity displayed by Stork. My family regularly enjoy dining at a range of restaurants across central London. My brother has some food allergies and this has never been an issue when we have visited a restaurant. When making a reservation, we always give the restaurant advance notice of his allergies, so they can ensure they will be able to cater for him during our reservation. Even on the occasions when we are attending spontaneously and have not made a reservation, his allergies have never posed an issue. I am extremely disappointed in Stork. We made a booking, several weeks in advance, and as part of that booking were advised by the restaurant to let them know if any of the guests have food allergies. We shared my brother’s allergies with the restaurant and they simply responded that they do not think it would be suitable for us to dine with them as most of the food contains ingredients that would affect my brother’s allergies. This suggests to me the food is not fresh and is all pre-packaged/cooked, with no room for flexibility. Alternatively, the chefs are simply lazy and lack creativity. Whenever we have dined out, particularly at restaurants that classify themselves as “fine dining” the chefs have always found a way to slightly alter a dish so it is suitable for my brother. Some have gone so far above and beyond we have been in awe. The staff at Stork didn’t even bother have a conversation to see what arrangements could be made. Stork claim to be a fine dining restaurant. Their website boasts of the chefs bringing creative flair to the kitchen. How can you make such a claim when you are unable to cater for allergies, that have been catered for in numerous restaurants across London? I hope Stork learn from this and do better.
