E’ stato strano essere ricevuti dal titolare che a locale praticamente vuoto ( 2 tavoli occupati) mentre fuori i locali adiacenti avevano le file di attesa, alla mia richiesta di un tavolo x 4 mi ha chiesto se avessi letto il menu .... il menu effettivamente è strano con piatti fuori dal comune ma in realtà propone un costo fisso (mmmm) a scelta fra 1 portata, 2 portate o 3 portate a scelta. Fin qui tutto bene, patti chiari e amicizia lunga. I piatti tutti squisiti, va detto, perfetti come sapore e impiattamenti. Peccato che il prezzo pagato non abbia rispettato le iniziali premesse dato che praticamente tutti i piatti hanno un extra da pagare che non è ben specificato nel menu e quindi il conto è aumentato oltre che per il servizio imposto. Consiglio comunque il posto per la qualità e per il sapore. Consiglio di guardare bene i prezzi e i vari extra meno chiari.

Visité este restaurante por primera vez esta semana con dos amigos. La comida era excepcional y el servicio era igualmente impresionante. Me encantaron los sabores frescos y mi bacalao estaba fuera de este mundo. He hecho otra reserva para diciembre que fue tan buena!

Neo Bistro tiene un solo problema: su ubicación. Si estuviera situado en el sur o el este de Londres, habría colas alrededor de la cuadra todas las noches. Lamentablemente, está justo al lado de Oxford Street y un jueves por la noche estaba medio vacío. Y esta es una tragedia ya que la comida es espectacular! El menú es estrecho, pero cubre todo el espectro con platos vegetarianos, carnes y pescados, y todo es delicioso. El tartar de carne de vacuno británico fue uno de los mejores que he comido y el ánade real fue fantástico pero, básicamente, todo lo que pasó por nuestros labios fue sublime. El chef principal también explicó cada plato que realmente contribuyó a nuestro disfrute de la comida. Pero lo realmente sorprendente es el gran valor que tiene: 22 para dos cursos y 27 para tres. También había una gran lista de vinos con botellas de menos de 30. Así que nuestra factura total para tres con una botella de Malbec, digestivos y servicio fue de 125!

Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi esposo en Neo Bistro y no nos decepcionó. El restaurante parecía un poco vacío y nos preocupamos, pero la sensación se evaporó tan pronto como probamos la comida. Fue excelente Tom (el gerente, creo) y Naz (el chef) estuvieron presentes explicando los platos y aconsejándonos sobre el maridaje. Los sabores eran innovadores (bacalao y puré de calabaza perfectamente cocinados con un toque de hierba de limón), exquisitamente presentados y el sabor era sublime. En términos de valor, si estuviera comiendo la misma comida de alta calidad en un restaurante con una estrella Michelin, estaría pagando el doble / triple del precio. Bien vale la pena la visita.

Este lugar es simplemente increíble. Todo lo que he tenido aquí ha sido una agradable sorpresa. La presentación, la calidad de la comida y, por supuesto, el servicio, es perfecta. Estaba un poco indeciso a escribir esta crítica porque es mi lugar favorito personal en Londres y quería mantenerlo en secreto. Pero debería compartir el amor.

Loved this restaurant! Amazing front of house team who couldn't be more helpful. Delicious and interesting tasting menu with perfect portion sizes so we were satisfied but not over-stuffed. Slightly limited cocktail list but good wines.

Wonderful dinner for our last evening in London. Delicious fish, meat, vegetables, sides, and dessert. Options for vegetarians. Very reasonable prices. Outstanding service. Small and casual setting with sophisticated cooking.

Four of us ate dinner here and were all impressed with quality of the food and the informed service. Stand out dish for me was the squid ink tortelloni and others loved the deconstructed jaffa cake for dessert. I was taken with the juxtaposition of this, very modern restaurant with a dinosaur Angus Steak House next door. Couldn't be more different. The food at Neo is interesting, beautifully prepared and presented, and good value for this very central location. Wines are reasonably priced and the recommendations proved to be good. The interior decor is not to my taste and the view from the outside is not enticing, but don't be put off. This restaurant is well worth visiting.

I left this place hungry despite having an entree, a main and a desert..... plates are well presented, innovative, tasty and portion tiny! The ceviche was 3 slices of fish. The lamb main was a slice of lamb, rather than a chunky piece as one would expect for that type of 'hearty' dish. These bite-size plates also come full price!!

Well, the food is definitely worth sampling, everything is freshly prepared, and the poached cod I had was absolutely unexceptionable. However, perhaps I am a cheepskate or otherwise ignorant (have no way of comparing with similar places in London): I found the helpings a bit 'minimalistic' (not only for main courses, but the cheese selection for 'pudding' was a joke), and prices rather steep--not to mention the wines. Service is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere informal and relaxed (chair seats should have a textile covering, not be bare wood), but not inviting to linger after a meal.

We went here for dinner on a weeknight, having been told about it by local friends. From the outside it is not impressive and even inside it is rather spare. Do NOT let that put you off. The food is creative, delicious, and amazing considering there are only three people turning it out from an open postage stamp-sized kitchen. Very interesting international wine list—French, American, Greek, and even Czech. Do seek this place out and go. You will not be disappointed.
