I’ve been to Moncks for brunch with my girlfriends. The environment is chic and the staff very professional, add lovely pancakes and coffee to the combo and you have a great spot for a relaxed but stylish catch up with your friends. Moncks is in the heart of Myfair, close to Green Park and New Bond Street, definitely to take into consideration for a restoring drink after a busy shopping spree.

Exceptional in every way! We were served by Juan who is an absolute super star of the service industry. You’re treated like royalty and the staff are just as passionate about the food as you are. Styled in an Art Deco fashion, it’s incredibly comfortable, stylish and up market. The wine list is very well sourced and even better priced. The food: OMG! In a word (2 words) - perfectly balanced. We were recommended the Beef Bourguignon and I’m so glad I had it. Slow cooked for hours you don’t need a knife, the beef just pulls apart, paired with mash which is more butter than potato, I loved it and I don’t even like Mash. My wife had the ravioli which was again, perfectly balanced, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We always pick a winner between us and this was just impossible (although I was the winner - shhh). We rarely order dessert but the options were so great we just had to try the chocolate fondant. Served with chilled clotted cream instead of boring vanilla ice cream it was sensational. Because of the insane quality, it’s hard not to draw comparison to the top fine dining restaurants of London, in which case, it would have been nice to have varietal stemware (a big ask on only a £42 bottle of wine) however that said, the manager actually offered to ready Bordeaux glasses for our next visit as they have a sister restaurant who are stocked. I mean, if that’s not top tier service I don’t know what is. This place could give the heavy hitters in London a run for their money, and at a much smaller cost it’s a no brainier. If the food was rubbish I’d still come back for the service and if the service was rubbish I’d still come back for the food - thankfully all elements are perfection so we will definitely be regulars.

Fantastic restaurant good atmosphere, food was tasty and the staff were nice and helpful. The ONLY let down was when we had ordered a pot of peppermint tea we asked for some extra mint leaves and when the bill came we were shocked to discover they had charged us for a whole extra pot of tea although they had only added in about 4 extra leaves. I have eaten at many top places before and this is the first time we have been charged extra for this. Beware if you do want any extra as you will be charged extra.

Went to Moncks yesterday and I loved the place! Live music, nice environment, delicious food and the pancakes to die for! When we were about to pay at the end, my Code app had some sort of issues but the staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. They resolved the issue immediately! Very professional and smiley! Fantastic food and fantastic service. Such a lovely meal with my family. The food was absolutely fantastic and the waiter Juan was very accommodating and excellent. He was a lovely guy and provided us with 10/10 service. I highly recommend this restaurant and I definitely will be back.

Had dinner here with my wife and daughter at the weekend. We eat in this area regularly. We were very impressed by Moncks. The food was excellent and a little innovative. I had chicken liver pate which had a layer of redcurrant which offset the richness beautifully. The boeuf bourgignone was very tasty. Prices for the food and the winelist were very reasonable for Mayfair and service was great.

We were very impressed by the delicious food, the nice look of the restaurant and the staff were charming and helpful - an extra thank you to Juan our excellent waiter. Very reasonable prices and interesting menu. Well worth a visit and we will be going back.

Lovely brasserie in the heart of Mayfair! The bar is nice, offering great cocktails and excellent service. The restaurant is very cool! Eclectic décor with a lovely garden at the back. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Mayfair! Very romantic and cosy atmosphere, we were pampered since the very beginning by the very kind staff, our waiter Alexio took care of us for the whole evening. The food was well plated and tasty, a mix of french and Italian taste, really really chic! I’d definitely go back.

Always a warm welcoming at Moncks, whether you're in for a quick drink or a meal you always walk away happy. The food is amazing, service impeccable and it's an overall nice place to be.

Everything about this restaurant was spot on. For starters we had the scallops and chicken liver pate to share, For the mains I had the spatchcock chicken, which is very juicy and my girlfriend had the ribeye was she said was the best she’s had! They also have a good cocktail menu and the waiter mentioned that they are able to do all classics if we wanted too! The artwork in the restaurant is very tasteful and the staff made us feel so welcome! This restaurant is only 6 months old! Well done to all staff, it’s clearly a true team effort! Well done!

I ate at this restaurant very recently and the food and experience was really great - the food was delicious and ingredients very fresh and fragrant. It’s not cheap by any means but definitely worth a visit to sample this new spot!

We had an excellent dinner at Moncks of Dover St in London, located, as their name implies, on Dover Street near its intersection with Hay Hill. They bill themselves as "a modern European brasserie". The decor and menu fit a high-end definition of that characterization. Our meal was delightful from the food and service through the overall ambiance.
