The best restaurants serving Default food in Handside Welwyn Hatfield East of England

I had a wonderful dinner at Pizza Express last Sunday evening. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so warm and inviting and the food was outstanding, tasty, and exactly what I wanted. A big shoutout to Vlad, our waiter, who was very attentive and friendly and made sure we had a great experience. His professional service really added to the enjoyment of the evening. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Food arrived late, cold and missing half the order. Would not recommend.

We love Simmons but this branches hygiene standard are well below acceptable,the tables are always dirty and always have empty cups stacked waiting to be cleared ,crumbs on the floor and tables ,really disappointing.

Very slow service, and no staff urgency, but tbf they are understaffed. They could not possibly cut the cake slices any thinner without having them crumble completely, and given they’re charging £3.50 - £4.75 each and of very average quality I would not recommend. Coffee is decent. There’s been years of poor/average JL WGC cafe reviews so clearly the mgt aren’t interested in improving quality and customer service. They used to be apathetic but now couldn’t care less !

Running late on the way home from somewhere we decided to pop in and pick up a KFC on the way. The boneless banquet we have ordered for years is no more - or at least it wasn't on the menu. The price of individual meals seem very high. About £10 for a chicken burger, terrible chips and a drink. Our quick bite cost almost the same as a full meal from an Indian or Chinese take away and was nowhere near as rewarding, enjoyable or filling (and none left over for later as the portions are almost comically small). The food was described by all, with a shrug, as "edible at best". Another unforgiveable thing was missing sides. Missing parts on a relatively modest order is completely unforgiveable and ruins the whole "treat". Whoever thought the type of chip or fry served here was a good idea is having a laugh. They are a soggy over-seasoned mess. And the way they are dumped together in a big sloppy mess falling out of their tiny little bags into a larger paper bag is interesting. Back in the day KFC was a treat and "box meals" came in boxes, not just a selection of bags and couple of cartons all thrown into a paper bag with things missing and no hand wipes, salt, ketchup, forks or anything else offered or on display to help yourself. Our drinks were not even offered to us, just left on the counter out of reach and we had to ask which ones were ours, and again could they possibly be nudged our way so we can reach them. (Should have learnt from the time we got it delivered and the "chilled" drinks and "hot" food were bundled together in the same bag, again with sides missing).

Eat here from time to time and never out of choice but out of necessity. Service incredibly slow even when there are only one or two customers. Staff don't appear to have been trained at all well in either service or food hygiene.

I had a great experience at Burger King, it’s my new favourite spot. Eleni and Manasa were wonderful. Thanks again!

So lovely, so clean and professional

BY FAR THE WORST MCDONALD'S I EVER VISITED. STAFF ARE SO SPACED OUT, NOT EVEN A "HI CAN I HELP" TO DELIVERY DRIVERS. TODAY, I GOT TO THE STORE 20 MINUTES AFTER RECEIVING THE ORDER. AND NOTHING WAS EVEN READY. I AVOID ORDERS FROM HERE LIKE NO OTHER PLACE. BRANCH NEEDS INVESTIGATING AND IMPROVED DRASTICALLY. ABSOLUTE JOKE. BUT I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR 😜🙃

Most butters pizza I've ever had. So grim. If you want spunky arm hair in a thick pizza with cheap toppings then look no further
