We popped in for a bargain bucket while we were out looking at the Christmas lights. It was expensive, but they all are these days. The main thing was that the food was good, the place was clean and the staff knew what they were about. That is surprisingly rare in KFCs these days. The disabled toilets left a bit to be desired but you can't have everything - it seems. I still like those chairs with the neck tie bracket on the back.

I just placed an uber eat delivery and ordered wings and a creamy mash. The mash never arrived which completely confuses me as I ordered 2 things? I then rang KFC to tell them my disappointment and the lady on the phone passed me to another lady who was trying to brush me off and tell me to ring uber. She then thought she hung up the phone on me HOWEVER SHE DIDN'T. I sat there for over 10 minutes and listen to the abuse coming out of her mouth about to to her colleagues. Mocking me for being upset over my mash and I should get over it and laughing at me. I am so angry and upset about this. I have tried phoning back but the line is busy and the phone isn't on the hook stollso noone else can ring either! I have never experienced auch horrible, rude staff in my life. She should NOT be in the hospitality industry!

Fast delivery. Friendly driver. Food was not particularly hot - needed to be heated up in oven. Two of the sides were wrong. This is a big deal and basically ruined the "treat". Rather than being a selection pack, like used to be the case, the dips were only two types and not liked. Bottle of drink was warm, so we couldn't drink it with the meal. Who wants warm fizzy drinks?

Frequent customer for this branch of WGC KFC. Never been let down whether it's the quality or speed of service. I would say the staff could be friendlier, however beggars can't be choosers. Easy to find quick parking next door if you are popping in (outside of lockdown and non deliveries)

I have had a burger here since the shutdown ended in the summer - it was very average but maybe my memory was playing with me. KFC used to be my treat as a kid. Big pieces of tasty chicken with the with the old special coating. I got a mighty bucket for one. The bucket was a tub and the chips I could actually count. I asked the staff if this was correct and they seemed feckless and said "Yes." From their demeanour, that was the end of the discussion. When I got back they had also got the order wrong - coleslaw instead or corn. Perhaps we all need to change how we eat. Even if the service and order was good and correct, it was poor value to the point I will not be returning. Memories destroyed and a customer - and as many others that will listen to me - lost. Ordered a delivery during lockdown. I knew it would end badly - half the time things are missing from the order when you eat in - let alone relying on it being delivered correctly / on time / complete / undamaged. The delivery took at least an hour over the time stated in Just Eat (which was already 1 hour 20 minutes - so around 2 hours 20 minutes) - not great as it meant the kids had to stay up late to eat their "treat". App said it was waiting for a driver for ages - ifs thats really the case then the delivery model used clearly doesn't work. Most of the chicken was exceptionally greasy and only warm - had to be heated in the microwave. Boneless chicken was really dry. Chips were cold and limp. Some of the food (Popcorn chicken) was missing - far from ideal when thats the things ordered for the kids. No dips supplied - a deal breaker for kids. I rang to report the missing food. Very friendly. It seemed they were overrun with orders (well don't accept so many then!). They were unable / unwilling to help and supply the missing food that I had paid for. If I wanted to get a refund I would have to use the app - after waiting for over an hour for a slot on the app to do this I gave up and decided never to get a delivery from there again. Presumably (though not evident on this showing) they want people to order the food, so their loss.

went on KFC website to order some chicken, was directed to Deliveroo. Chicken arrived it was incorrect. no number to call on deliveroo, you simply have to say tick the box to say the order is wrong and wait 48 hours for a response. So I called the Welwyn KFC to tell them the order is wrong,, I was not rude and did not abuse the "so called Manager" on the phone but he said if you continue with this I am going to hang up and he did.. I called him back and said i just want what we ordered,, he said it is nothing to do with KFC it is deliveroo who have my money!! So I ordered kfc chicken, they pick the wrong order and then despite their error have absolutely no desire to resolve the problem, basically just told to go away as its nothing to do with them.. Nothing to do with them! so my order for KFC chicken is nothing to do with KFC and it is not their problem... How about that for the worse customer service in history, do KFC employ embeciles now with no training? Be warned, if you order from KFC for delivery and they get it wrong the store manager at KFC will tell you to do one...

So I went into kfc before work, all the staff on shift were very nice and it looked like a nice environment, the management there seemed a little tense and when the manager wasn’t by the till it was calmer

KFC running out of chicken wasn't all bad as it generated much interest in the media. It reminded me about KFC and how I have not had it for a while so we decided to visit. It was surprisingly popular and busy. We ordered the boneless deluxe box. Unfortunately for sides, they ran out of coleslaw and sweetcorn for we had a choice of beans or gravy. If it was me, I would have offered something of equivalent value (e.g. 2 wings). The chicken was nice and tender and wasn't greasy. The chips wasn't very good. It was a bit lame. Saying that, KFC chips has never been very good. The restaurant itself was ok. They were quite quick at turning around the tables and they did a good job. It was a nice experience. We will return (occasionally).

fancied chicken for tea a special treat after a hard day at work. As i like spice we ordered 2 zinger meals, the chips were half cooked and plastered with yuck, the zinger fillets were barley cooked. we were charged tripple price for something as most of the folk that work there not only do not understand much english but they dont speak it.The manager got angry when my husband took the chips back. We have had food posioning before but i really fancied the new buckets ( which didnt get sold in this store).Complete joke and waste of £20 plus petrol there and back twice.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

When I entered the establishment I was made welcome with a smile. The staff very friendly and helpful with my order.My chicken was hot fresh and very tasty and the Seattle Coffee was just right.The decor is beautiful and with comfortable seating. It was warm and very clean.The music in the background is at the right volume and the ambience very relaxing and enjoyable.I spoke to a member of staff who was cleaning the tables and she was very polite and happy.A really nice KFC ....the best experience ever.

Hay I may be getting older BUT I do remember going for a KFC and comming away enjoying it BUT what I have just eaten was rubbish fit for animals only.The chicken ? Was very greasy and I folded it in napkins to get the fat out.The chicken and the coating was tasteless. The chips got cold so quick you had to eat them first.On the up side the drink was ok.

Went in lunch time ordered a sharing bucket straight of the menu nothing out of the ordinary paid waited told it would be 5 mins for the chicken...... watched time tick on their screen showing them what orders are waiting it got to 11 mins 50 odd all in red then suddenly it re started and went to a further 2 mins plus before we got the bag they were not apologetic at all

Recently had a full refurbishment. It is clean and well laid out. Service is quick and food is absolutely what you would expect in a KFC. Their fries are the best fast-food fries around apart from Burger King. Only down side is it does not stay open late

A little while back this restaurant went through a major renovation. The decor is very modern and upmarket.As always, the food is KFC!! Have loved this food since way back when.A very popular restaurant for after school lunches, families with young children, quick business meal, take-always.They are not open for breakfast, they open mid morning. From opening to closing time, you'll always fine somebody enjoying a meal.

Very rude person taking order very bad English. Asked 3 times while ordering just want bbq and lettuce on burger , sends out burger with salsa and BBQ ?? Beans were disgusting and burnt, chips were cold and chicken didn't look very pleasant to eat and was over charged. Also charged to add BBQ on the burger ? Never again.

Fillet burgers always good. The mini one is good prefer 2 little ones to 1 big one. Side orders ok. Krushems the orio is the best one. Always try there offers. Double stack chicken fillet burger was big too hot for me. Find KFC expensive compared to other fast food places

Went on Wednesday 2nd March 2016 and was disappointed with the chicken and chips that we received. The chips were hard as if they had been sitting around for a while and the chicken was tasteless. We were disappointed with the food we received for the money we paid. The take away was clean and the service was good, otherwise this would have been a two star review.Perhaps we caught them on a bad night but they must do better.

Been going here for years love the guys in there they’re lovely guys but everytime I order a pizza I always ask for it to be well done. Ordered one tonight asked for it to be well done turns up and most of the cheese wasn’t even melted properly. The dough is always undercooked had to put it in the over for 15 minutes just to get it cooked. If your prices are going to go up you really need the quality of the food to go up too.

Dear Burger King Customer Service, I’m writing to share my disappointing experience at your Hatfield branch on 14th December at around 6 pm. The service I received fell far below the high standards I’ve come to associate with Burger King and what you promote as part of your customer experience. According to your website, Burger King is committed to providing customers with great food, served quickly, in a friendly and welcoming environment. Sadly, my visit did not reflect these values in any way. When I arrived, all the staff were at the back of the store, leaving no one at the front to assist customers. It was extremely difficult to get anyone’s attention. When staff did briefly come forward, they avoided engaging with customers by turning their backs or making no effort to assist. It felt like we were being actively ignored. When I finally managed to get someone’s attention to place an order, I was told to use the self-service machine instead. The till was clearly operational, but it seemed like the staff just didn’t want to serve customers in person. This came across as rude and lazy, completely contradicting the welcoming environment Burger King claims to stand for. Later, when I needed to use the toilet, I discovered I needed a code to enter. Once again, it was an uphill struggle to get staff attention. When I eventually received the code, it was mumbled by a staff member who refused to face me. I couldn’t read it clearly, and when I tried to clarify, she continued to mumble with her back to me. Another customer nearby experienced the same dismissive treatment and even commented on the staff member’s rude behaviour. The entire store had an unwelcoming and negative atmosphere, as if customers were an inconvenience. In stark contrast, the McDonald’s located across the street was busy, vibrant, and full of energy. Customers there seemed to be enjoying themselves, which made the poor service at Burger King even more glaring. Burger King’s website emphasises delivering an exceptional customer experience and making customers feel valued. My visit to the Hatfield branch did not come close to meeting these expectations. I urge you to address the service issues at this store by providing additional training and holding staff accountable for their behaviour.
