Ordered a delivery, said 5 minutes away then 6 minutes away. When the food got here, wasn't very warm. One quarter pounder I ordered was for no cheese or pickles but wanted everything else, it came with the smallest drip of tomato sauce no mustard and just a couple of onions, the other burger I ordered wasn't even there. All uber can do is refund for the missing burger. My poor grandson missed out on half his dinner. Won't be using them again.

I have just ordered on Uber eats and I am upset and angry. I ordered 2 cheesy bacon flatbreads a porridge with golden syrup and a mighty McMuffin. The porridge came with no spoon which i obviously need to eat the porridge (not at home) and it also came with no syrup which may I add I payed extra for and looked like it would poison me. The mighty McMuffin cane with the wrong sauce and egg which I purposely took out when ordering as I cannot stand eggs. I phoned 2 times none of which the call was answered and I feel that £17 for all of that and for half of it to be missing is outrageous. Is the place ran by non verbal idiots who don’t have a clue what they are doing. Please sort this out I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that I’ve just wasted so much money by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Sort this out.

On the 19/7/2024,my daughter went in there with her friends after school.They ordered for their food and made payment individually.All her friends were served but my daughter was not,(apparently because she was a black girl and all her friends were white)The staff told her that her order had been taken already,meanwhile she didn’t receive it,neither did any of her friends had double of their order.All attempts to explain to the staff proved futile,rather told her to leave,my daughter was soo embarrassed and left with her friends.This was soo embarrassing and awkward of the staff in Welwyn Garden City.

It’s not hard to count out 4 burgers and put them in a bag! I get that they’re all children that work there and most of them illegal immigrants but ffs come on! We ordered delivery. This was delivered through Uber. There was a missing item. This is not the first time we have had items missing when receiving delivery. To get this sorted McDonalds insist that you deal with Uber. Uber didn’t prepare or pack the order so do t know how this is their fault. We were offered a refund but of a flat rate of just over £2 when the item missing costs over £4! Shoddy service won’t be getting a McDonald’s from here again. Don’t understand how they can get it so wrong so often.

Unfortunately this restaurant isn't good to order a delivery from. Nearly evey time an order is delivered from here it's missing an item (or items), or an item (or items) are wrong e.g. medium fries instead of large fries. Not sure why it's so hard to check what goes into the bags against the order before it is "sealed". I would recommend that if you are looking to order something to be delivered that you steer clear of this restaurant, and pick another restaurant in the vicinity. If you visit the restaurant to order a meal, it's also advisable to not order to table, as frequently the staff do not bother delivering it to the table despite requesting the option.

More of a complaint of the online customer service. Not satisfied with the compensation. I ordered from this restaurant a double quarter pounder deluxe burger medium meal, the burger didn't arrive and I got the wrong drink. The drink I'm not that bothered about, but the burger was missing. Getting a full refund for the burger makes sense. The meal is £8.39, burger is £6.98, so why in god's name am I only getting £4.68 back? Unless I'm missing something, I'm losing out on something that wasn't my fault? Just not satisfied with this whatsoever, I know it's a McDonald's but come on.

Every time I order from here chips are half full as well as drinks. what’s the point of having a milkshake machine if it’s never turn on? I pay for sauces they don’t arrive, I order large drinks to be sent mediums. Food always needs reheating and then you complain and don’t even get a refund for missing items! I ordered 2 fish finger happy meals before to be sent veggie dippers and sent proof of mistake and still no refund! Delivery Apps have started to refuse to refund me from here because every time I order there’s a mistake or missing items this is by far the worst McDonald’s going and clearly needs new management and eyes constantly on workers as they can’t follow written orders. It’s not that hard. 29/6 stupidly ordered from here instead of the Hatfield branch and half a drink spilt everywhere, no sauces which I ordered extra and ordered a double quarter pounder meal and got sent a single in a double box. This place is a joke as if management. I couldn’t imagine having these people work for me, running the restaurant into the ground. Since I can’t add a new review- ordered 29/12 Galaxy chocolate pie arrived with a burnt hole in and no filling- because this place messes up so much and constantly reporting missing food from this McDonald’s the order also isn’t available for a refund. Thanks a bunch.

Don't use the mc delivery app the staff always leave items missing from your order, it is not the driver the bags are sealed, it has happened several times now probably so they can eat it themselves, then you have the agro of having to get a refund through uber eats who don't refund the full value of the missing item, and of course someone has to go without their dinner, complete and utter rip off just under £40 and missing burgers despite saying its been checked and sealed by mcdonald's staff, it's a bit weird how they always leave items out when they mess up orders but NEVER accidentally give you an extra item, the only explanation for this is the staff on the rob

After visiting other restaurants I took a chance on ordering from the McDonalds app with this restaurant. On receiving the order which was delivered via a Uber Partner, the food was stone cold, there was a hair in the fish burger, the drink was spilt all inside the bag and there were several items which were missing and did not make it to me. On reaching out to Uber I was told that because it was delivered via McDonalds I need to reach out to the restaurant. When I contacted the restaurant they were extremely rude, felt like I was an inconveniences and suggested I speak to my bank to get a refund. The experience was very frustrating and in the end I ended up disposing of the meal which I had paid for, and am seriously considering never purchasing a McDonalds item again. Piece of advice, do not visit this restaurant and please do not purchase from here. You will be disappointed and the service will just frustrate you as it did to me.

Absolute joke of a restaurant! These people are not qualified to make a burger or cook fries! How hard can it be!?!?! 🤣 I don't even like McDonald's, but I suffer to please my partner. I dont know why she thinks its going to be any better than the last time. Every single time we receive it, it's stone cold and thrown together like they've closed their eyes! We now have the oven preheated for the fries. I'm not having it anymore. They are never getting any of my hard earned money ever again. Richard and Maurice McDonald would be turning in their graves. The burger was at a temperature of 35.2° and the chips were 41.8°. Which I'm sure could give you food poisoning...if it was real beef. We throw them in the microwave just to make sure we are not ill. I know it's fast food but come on, where's the standards!?!? Prices have gone up and quality has gone down! Deliveroo are happy for us to pay and eat this as they don't seem to thinks its a problem. Goes to show what they think of their customers money, health and experience! Have a look at these photos for a good laugh!

This McDonald's is by far the worst around this part of Hertfordshire. You're lucky if your order takes less than 20 minutes as in store customers seem to be less of a priority than the all the delivery app orders. And when you check with the manager who hands you your order that it is all correct only to find when you get home that there are missing items good luck! No one at the store answers the phone so you end up having to deal with a godawful chat bot on the website. You have to go through a shed load of questions repeating themselves for every item missing from the order. And even though you order through their App you have to provide a receipt despite there not a physical receipt or a digital one you can attach. Almost 24 hours on and no sign of a reply apart from automated bot. What the hell has happened to McDonald's these days?

The last two times I had decided to have lunch here, the situation here was equally bad. On the first day, there was a large amount of staff behind the tills, which is supposed to mean fast service, however this wasn't the case. You wait a lot to get served, there is no space to eat in, especially if you come in with a number of people, because the floor above is always closed with the reason being that they have said that there aren't enough customers, which is clearly not the case. The host boy clearly had no experience for his position, and only served food to customers (he didn't clean after customers). When asked "can you seat our family somewhere as the top floor is closed", he answered by asking us to wait until somebody else left their table. On the next day, the same boy served our order, but without fries even though we ordered them. I asked him if he could bring them to us and showed him the receipt, but he looked lost or confused. So I had to explain the same thing 2 more times that we had 1 order of missing fries. I also gave him our receipt to go tell his manager, and after 15 minutes after I had finished my lunch, I finally received our fries (perhaps unsalted as revenge 😂). Another negative was that all customers which needed the toilet, needed to queue up for the only (disabled) toilet on the ground floor (since upstairs is closed as previously mentioned). I find it hard to believe that there is a McDonald's with so much staff, with no drive through, and yet the service being such a low standard.

It was a daunting experience. My daughters ordered their meals using the self serve. They had their numbers. Another child got up and claimed the younger daughter’s meal due to the wrong number. As she got up and tried to explain involving her older sister, the manager in charge was very rude even as the junior members of staff explained what happened. He was rude to the customers as well as the staff on duty. Who does that? It’s Saturday the 29th July 18:35. Never again!

We wouldn’t usually give this Mcds a rating this high as they never have milkshakes and some staff aren’t the friendliest but these 5 stars go solely to Josh. (In shirt) He was so helpful and patient with me and my partner after I ordered on the app for pickup and sent my partner to collect due to myself being at home with Covid. I didn’t realise that it needed to be my phone in the building in order to send the order to the restaurant. As I had a coupon and various rewards to use on the App this was very annoying. When my partner called to inform me of this I heard Josh in the background saying he may be able to help me do it manually over the phone. So my partner passed him the phone and he went through it with me perfectly so we could use our discounts. After all that, my partner realised he didn’t have his wallet with him as he expected the pickup to already be paid online by me and so Josh stood there waiting while I got my partner to add his details to Apple Pay so he could pay in restaurant. 🙄 This was unexpected and outstanding service from Josh and I just want to thank him for his kindness and patience which saved an already stressful day from getting worse. That’s true customer service!

This place was terrible me and my boyfriend came here to grab a bite to eat before getting on the train when we walked in and the self service machine was swinging and not locked properly we was 1 out of 3 maybe 4 customers waiting and it's took 20 minutes for us to get 1 crispy chicken wrap and 2 cheese burgers. As we were waiting the team were standing out looking miserable doing nothing and 3 managers were going nothing apart 1 of them who was walking around shouting at the people making the food. My food the other hand was terrible in its self my wrap fell apart as I got it out to eat it it was not wrapped properly at all and when I asked for a dip I was looked at and asked "what". So over all the services is disgusting and the food was bad never going back again.

Restaurant dirty. Two areas closed off. The only open area had engineers working in it. Hardly any seats - it was midday. Staff rude. Fries cold and soggy. Filet -o - fish tasted off. Really poor. Will never use McDonald’s again. Boo!

i dont care enough to complain formally but the last few times ive eaten here, they've gotten details of my orders wrong. such as leaving out items i wanted as well as leaving in items ive removed. if i had an allergy or intolerance, thatd be a major issue yet luckily its just a preference thing. edit 1: they've since taken 30 minutes to make my order due to a shortage of chicken selects, again left something in that i requested to be out, and did nothing in regards of a refund or apology. edit 2: see attached pic... also paid 30p for lettuce which as u can see, is not there..

This has to be the worst McDonalds out there. Always massive queues and long waits. They do the milkshakes and leave them on the side to melt whilst they take ages on the food. When ordering they never get the order right. It takes forever for them to prepare, the milkshakes are always “sold out” so you can’t order them and then the order comes with half the food missing. Please get some decent staff and management in to sort it out!

This is the best McDonald's that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The staff are so friendly, and the food is of the highest quality (better than Miller and Carter). The person on the fries yesterday was doing an extremely good job, and I was overwhelmed with the quality and speed of those fries. I love it so much that I will be returning every day for the rest of my life. Love u Maccers xD <3333333

We popped in for a bargain bucket while we were out looking at the Christmas lights. It was expensive, but they all are these days. The main thing was that the food was good, the place was clean and the staff knew what they were about. That is surprisingly rare in KFCs these days. The disabled toilets left a bit to be desired but you can't have everything - it seems. I still like those chairs with the neck tie bracket on the back.

Been going here for years love the guys in there they’re lovely guys but everytime I order a pizza I always ask for it to be well done. Ordered one tonight asked for it to be well done turns up and most of the cheese wasn’t even melted properly. The dough is always undercooked had to put it in the over for 15 minutes just to get it cooked. If your prices are going to go up you really need the quality of the food to go up too.
