On my first visit, I ordered a large fish and large fries. A huge portion for at least two. Excellent fish. The best fries I've bought in England.

Great take away with good food if you like Fish and Chips, kebabs etc. Pity they don't do my favourite however Chicken Donner Update. Best Fish in WGC highly recommended. Still great but sadly no chicken dkner but highly recommended

Excellent Fish and Chip shop situated in the Meadway Precinct . Very friendly counter staff who are very efficient in taking your order. Food was freshly cooked and delicious, and served with a smile. There is also a restaurant in the shop if it takes your fancy. 👍

Really nice food , was seeved within 3-5 mins and food was cooked on time and was thanked for my purchase which goes along way.

Undercooked batter on sausage, greasy too. Overcooked savaloy. Chips ok. Wouldn't come back.

Really good chippy but mainly go for kebabs. Not greasy so nice to have for lunch. Doesn't take care though and although there is a cash machine nearby I limit myself to £10 when I would probably spend £12-13 by card

Really crispy light batter on a decent sized medium cod which was chunky flakes of moist served with a generous portion of crunchy fluffy chips. This plaice is consistently serving great fayre.

Foods good but the price is crazy as for the chicken fillet burger thats tiny and well overpriced for what you get. Very clean place and staff are freindly. Just the pricing

Chips were awful, looked great but were just dry like maybe they'd been reheated or just stale. Worst chips would not recommend.

If you like a big piece of fish try a cod here it's huge plus tastes lovely decent chips too would definitely recommend this place we drive to to it as we don't live nearby but it's well worth it.

Food is okay, much prefer going for a Chicken Shish if I order though. Not a fan of "triple cooked" chips as I know that's what all Seaworld chippies do. Just stick to cooking them once and properly. If they do that they get a 5 star

Chips were similar to oven chips maybe the chips come in pre cut frozen...not sure but were dry, the savaloy was dry as well and had turned brown in the middle must be at 3 or 4 days old. Update today chips fresh very nice so will move from 2 stars to 4

Food Is really good quality. Prices are reasonable and they are always so kind to my children. They gave them lollipops while we waited for the food. Would recommend them 100%

Fish, chips and kebab. So all the major food groups Good quality, fair price. Very popular and can be quite busy so you just have to be patient.

Hit and miss Usually the lamb shish has way too much salt. It’s a shame it’s happened on more than 3 occasions now. Will rethink about going here. The chicken shish is salty as well but no where near as bad as the lamb

I’ve visited Seaworld over a number of years but unfortunately it seems recently it’s taken a sharp nosedive. The customer service is very poor/non existent and the food has an overly greasy feel. Will avoid from now.

OK great fish and chips .always try to upsell the size of fish they have cooked .and why no card payments. We all have to pay taxes and vat .maybe the tax and vat should be informed

Good food, sensibly priced, but it's a week before Christmas and we left the queue outside after seeing the tall guy dishing out all the food with his mask pulled down under his chin (insulting) and several others wearing them pulled down under their noses and them allowing people to wait in the shop with no masks on...no thank you! Omicron, Delta and Covid are real, highly transmissible and we don't want to spend Christmas in hospital or isolated thanks...so either wear them properly or you won't be getting our business until you do. We left the queue and drove to the fish n chip shop in the town centre who were wearing their masks correctly and not allowing anyone to wait inside without a mask. Hope you sort it our as you're our local and we'd much rather buy from you.

Can be a bit hit n miss for quality, though portions are always generous and the fish is always a good size. For us the chips are often a bit undercooked and their batter isnt as crisp as we like it...they used to sell great value chicken kebabs, but recently increased their prices, so now even a small chicken kebab is £7, which we think is too expensive for what it is! Sadly we shop there less often than we used to, as the prices just don't match the quality, which is a pity as it used to be amazing. Its been a tough year for many, but they've done good business throughout and it's disappointing to see their prices rise so much. Hope they sort it out before it damages their business.

I have been going to this chip shop since I moved to wgc in 2012. They are consistently excellent. I don’t like battered fish but my kids say it’s perfect and the chips are the best chip ship chips I’ve had. A great mega cheap dinner, they always have loads of people which just shows how good they are.
