The best restaurants serving Default food in Maldon East of England

First visit since this restaurant changed from being a Wimpy to now being called The Diner, I believe it’s the same people running it but a vast improvement now. A great choice on the menu and the food is 100% better than it was before. I had the half pounder and chips and my wife had gammon egg and chips, both were well presented and tasted lovely. She managed to fit in sticky toffee pudding and custard which looked lovely and she said it tasted great. There is a good selection on offer here at very reasonable prices, well worth a visit.

Another great Sunday lunch at Ye Old White Heart. The vegetables were cooked just as we like them. Excellent service from Ella and Clare.

Good atmospher always welcoming i prefer this pub out if the two it has better views over the sea wall and across the navigation lots of seating outside and along the lock

First time ordering from here, never again. Food was tasteless and dry. Couldn't eat it. Expensive and absolutely disgusting.

Mandeep Kaur is an absolute star at Subway. She’s always smiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her service is impressively fast, yet every order is spot-on. Mandeep goes above and beyond, keeping everything clean and running smoothly. She’s a key part of the team and truly deserves a raise.

Never ordering from this subway again. Everytime I order always something wrong or missing. If I pick it up never ready and also everything is cold

Pizza was cold took ages on tracker

The taste of the food has improved, but the coffee and hot chocolate are not very nice, I think they are burning the coffee as it so hot. Since my last visit I can say things have improved by appox. 70% the food is now lovely most of the coffee has got better but the black coffee still needs some work done to improve it, it is still too strong they must be wasting money 💰 giving it away when they get that right it will be a winner 🏆 Visited the restaurant yesterday and I can honestly say the food and coffee have Improved well done to the people who sort things out I can now give you 95%, it just leaves the staff that work at the drive through windows asked to carry out a small request and get it right and you will receive 100%. Oh dear on the 29/04/2025 my wife and stepdaughter visited this restaurant again at lunchtime she ordered a childs chicken nugget happy meal all seemed fine until my wife went to eat her lunch the nuggets were lovely the drink which was a fresh orange was lovely but the fries were so heavily covered in salt they were inedible, now bearing in mind children really should not have salt there was enough to have killed one of them we have had this problem with McDonald's before it is down to a lack of training, Just for once it would be nice to get a reply about reviews at least myself and others would know you read them, just to add if I had been with them I would have spoken to a manager concerning this and had them changed McDonald's supply salt and pepper sashes so why not serve them without salt and customers can decide just how much or little they require.

Popped in today for a light lunch and the experience was just perfect. Sunny garden, cold wine and fabulous food! We shared some starters which were all big portions and the whole experience was just great.

I don't use cafe's very often. The staff member was very kindly and helpful. I only had a drink and a bar or something so can't comment on the food. I didn't go for the atmosphere but would say it was neutral. I had a quiet brew and nibble without drama. The floors and tables appeared clean. Thanks to the lovely staff member. 😊

Good customer service and good food. Prawn toast slightly overdone, wasn't keen. But everything else tasted Good. Ready within 10 mins.

Set in a great position the pub has a selection of standard pub meals/snacks at reasoble prices and a good selection of drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at a busy time and were told there was a 30 minute wait for food before we ordered which was fine. This wasn't our first visit and won't be our last.

Never ever order anything from maya again the staff tell lies,food came after 1 hour and 20 minutes after getting a text saying the food is on its way, the food was lukewarm and the chicken was very dry and chewy,no flavor in the maya rice and the Nan bread was burnt.

The best noodle bar in Wrexham. Food is great and affordable. The Wednesday deal buy one get another half price is excellent value, and the box’s are always full to the brim. I have recommended to several colleagues who all enjoyed.

Place looked ok, Staff friendly and wait not long. Ordered lamb shish with salads and chips for collection. Salad was ok, Lamb shish dry and little burned but Chips awful! Was it left over from day before or is that how they cooked? No fork or tissue/napkin provided! Should have looked the rating prior visiting. Never again!
