The best pizzas and kebabs in the area! Wouldn't go anywhere else. So much better than other takeaways and McDonald's and much more affordable. Always arrives hot and within a reasonable time. Would highly recommend 😊

Tonight we ordered to have our chicken Kebab delivered, normally we would collect, however for £1 delivery, we choose this option. Normally, our Kebab is very good from this establishment,….. however tonight it was clearly too busy, or the chef was inattentive or simply not bothered as the kebab was burnt. You can argue that on a grill you will get a chargrilled effect, and yes, it’s normally really good and why we return, and why I have scored a 3 overall, but tonight it’s a 1 star rating unfortunately. So so disappointing, and you can’t do anything about it! It’s your dinner 🤷‍♂️😭. Back to Tommy Tuckers in Witham then. Little more expensive, however always a great kebab.

Just moved into the area so popped in and ordered some food from here tonight.We ordered a Kebab feast 1 that not only all tasted amazing but was so excellent value for money and there was so much food.Staff was really friendly and helpful and gave me a free coleslaw to try as it was my first visit that was delicious. Definitely will be returning.Excellent.

Was going here for years but never again gone down hill massively brought food on the app for delivery been approved by email never turned up called them up saying they never got the order and they not giving me a refund

The meat is cheap and horrible now all fatty and oily, the salads is drenched in seasoning so you can’t even enjoy, my family have been going here over a decade now we have moved to Maldon king because of the poor food such a shame used to be our go to take away.

Visiting the in-laws we decided to all get a take away saw this leaflet that they had put through the door. Thought the ordering process was good. But the food was disgusting and wasn’t cheep. Chicken burgers , chicken was as tough as leather , the bun crumbled all over the place we said no onions and got loads. Chips under cooked quite hard. Cheese burger was like re warmed and bun disintegrated. Mixed kebab so greasy it was covering everything in the bag. We were given a free small pizza which mum said was ok. Very expensive for bad food. Recommend try somewhere else. I hope we are going to be alright later 😬

Unfortunately we would not order from again, website state 45 minutes but it took and hour and half, chips where soggy and the garlic bread with cheese was burnt which was a shame, as this seems to be the only kebab place that does chicken doner.

I got food poisoning from here. If you're lucky enough not to they'll get your order wrong, or it'll be late, or just poorly cooked - the chips are the worst limp soggy mess i've ever had. AVOID!!

I ordered the party mix deal with 2 20" pizzas, wedges and a drink! The food was fresh, steaming hot and delicious! When my order was ready the guy behind the counter was really pleasant asking me if i needed any help as the pizzas are massive! I can't fault the food or service! Definitely a 5* from us!

Ordered online, the email back said 60 mins to collect, got a call saying we were late for collection, told the gentleman got an email for 60 mins, said that was wrong, colleted the food and it was burnt to a crisp, called them, awful man, not listening, says return it, will replace? My fuel? £34.00 dinner plus additional fuel? Customer service doesn't exist anymore, your error, you should have rectified it...., why do paying people have to be belittled and challenged for what they are paying good money for, its a joke

We know of the negative reviews but given another try. We wasn’t in a major rush for food, however delivered within the hour during an England match so hopes were high. Ordered 4 pizza’s, 3 were correct and the 4th should have been the tandoori one with tomato base, however got a vegetarian one with chilli base and overcooked, HOW. Generally find the food good so will use again but collect next time so I can check before I leave the shop.

Kebab took two hours to get delivered, one hour longer than we were advised. No apology from the delivery driver and the quality of the food was poor. Nothing positive to say.

Been using these for a number of years now. Past 6 months gone right downhill. Pizzas arrive by department very driver looking puke road kill on a country lane.plastic dips inside pizza box melted and leaked. Delivery time over 2 hours or not at all. When asking for a refund they refuse. Rude and hanging up on the phone.

Ordered a few times here and always there is an issue with orders.today it took them 2 hours for a delivery and the whole order was wrong, and cold as they took it out from fridge and brought it over.plus what they delivered was cheaper what I had ordered and they never answered the phone.they owe me £6. A kebab house with no lamb kebab send burnt chicken with brown soggy salad, meat cold and a hair in our food it’s not exactly what you want. Ordered 2 chicken donners took nearly an hour ended up with 2 lamb donners took it back and they didn't believe us. Website was easy to order, delivery time was slightly early (which is good for a Saturday night), food was piping hot and fresh. Was very tasty and impressive and we will definitely order again.

I’m disgusted to even have to give this establishment a singular star in the first place. Ordered food with a delivery time of 45 minutes, after an hour and a half of waiting, we called to be told multiple times it had left. When it finally did arrive at the 2 hour mark, the food order was completely incorrect. We called the shop to complain and get a refund, and the staff lied claiming they had called us to tell us they had run out of what we originally wanted to order. We had no calls, so this was a complete lie. We then called back and someone else answered to try solve the issue. To top it off, the chicken shish we had been sent, was raw. This order was so incredibly bad, it’s embarrassing. Will NEVER order from here again. P.S they did try and claim they don’t do refunds, they just offer free garlic bread.

Order placed 18:10, phoned 40 mins later out if curiosity because house is hard to find, gave full address. 3 further phone calls with 3 separate promises of it left 10mins ago and 2.5hrs later the last call revealed the lies, they did not get the web order. I don't mind that they did not get the order, it happens, but 2.5hrs of lies, with no food delivered and hungry children is atrocious.

Firstly, go to Kings in Maldon it’s 10000% better. Staff are rude and this business has gone down hill, sad as I’ve been using it for 20 years but it seems the new staff Richard have just don’t quite run the business like he did and when he is off things go to pot.

I have to say, I love the kebab its just delivery takes 40-50min even we are 2min down the road. The presentation is terrible as its all wrapped in paper instead of in the box.

Ordered a Pizza meal deal which we have done many times over the years but tonight was very disappointing! One of our pizzas was missing from our delivery. We rang them twice and eventually after 2 hours and 50 minutes from placing our order the missing pizza arrived. At no point did they apologise which is a shame because we won't be using them again.

Rang up and was told it would be a further 30 mins. 40 mins went by, phoned again and was told if was our for delivery, would be delivered in 10 mins. Another 20 mins went by. Ring up again and was told that they didn’t even receive my order? The man was very rude and shouting at me down the phone. I asked that if they didn’t receive my order, why was we told several times it was on its way, they replied that they had got confused. Order finally arrived at 22:45!! The food wasn’t even very nice, the potato wedges were pretty much black. Will never order from here again!

Ordered a kebab meal deal number 1 last night. Meat was ok and plentiful. chips were average. Salad was great.But but they forgot the pitas.FFS. on a kebab meal. I could not see the point of phoneing the shop because I knew we are they wouldn't get them or it would take half an hour. Luckily we had half a pack in the cupboard and we had to use them. Recently had the entrir family to stay, all very young so we decided on a lamb kebab for every on. Fast service. Depending on who serves you language can be a bit of an issue so be clear as to what you order.All the food is individually wrapped and bagged up.This place is always very busy

I’ve just had a horrible Mixed kebab, pita bread dry and hard, lamb ok but the other meat (hardly recognisable as to what it was, overcooked and dry) Was horrible, spoiled the whole kebab.Chips were overcooked and rock hard, only good bit was the salad.So disappointed, was really looking forward to my kebab, I’ll be looking for a new kebab shop ASAP.

Asked for 2 pieces of chicken and chips. I got 2 old leathery pieces of chicken and really old chips. Asked my friend to return it and asked for a refund because I had lost my appetite. They refused to refund it and gave it back to him. Needless to say the food went in the trash and I spent my birthday not eating because I was so repulsed by the food.

Few years ago when i was here they did a cracking job about the food. Now? Total crap!! They gave me the wrong food altogether. Asked for a cheese and tomato SAUCE with deep pan with 5 garlic dips. I got that but with tomato slices on. I can't stand cooked tomatoes! So i tell them about this and they said they'll pick them off!! Disgusting. My friend ordered chicken which looked old and leathery. I went in and asked for my money back and they straight off refused and tried to give me the food back. Ordered online for evening delivery, it arrived 30 minutes later and 4 hours to early when I phoned to discuss the issue they were rude and unwilling to help, will never use again and it was expensive for the final insult

I ordered a mixed kebab (£11.50) with Chilli sauce. I received a very small portion size, and the wrong sauce... I also ordered 16pcs spicy chicken wings, everything was cold. I didn’t get any salad either. Not worth the money (£17.20) and a tip of 80p. The kebab itself wasn’t even worth £4.00! Usually this place is alright, if you go to the shop, it’s nice and you get a good portion. But this time the delivery was really bad quality. Honestly, there’s more in a small kebab that what I received today. I shouldn’t have to leave this bad review or ring them up, they should know better. Sorry to leave a poor review, but it’s only the truth.

The first visit was for a kebab feast number one when we got home ma the Chilli Sauce was missing also smaller than I remember. On Saturday we thought we would give it another try and we had two large kebabs takeaway I asked for the salad and chilli sauce to be done separate. When I got home salad was fine but instead of chili sauce they give me garlic sauce which looks totally different so I can only assume they did this on purpose.

Every week I order the same chicken Shish for delivery. Big chunks of marinaded chicken, chargrilled peppers and onions and the best chilli sauce. They’ve never let me down. They are such good kebabs every week. The drivers are always friendly and polite and delivery is speedy too. No complaints from me whatsoever.

After many calls, emails I had to contact my bank. To cancel the payment they took, as they never showed up. Two days later I managed to get hold of them. I was calm and polite over the phone trying to explain that I wanted a refund as no show, but the people seemed rude very short. he said money will be with you end of today.No apologies, or anything. Well let’s see if I get refunded. If not my bank is investigating it.Wow all of this just for a greasy Kabab !

It’s not build a bear it’s build your own kebab. Turns up with all the components in separate containers which you have to put together yourself when you order a wrap that you have to unwrap to put your salad and sauce in is ridiculous.

This is a delicious place to eat at, even if it is very busy you don't have to wait long at all to get your food!

Do not buy food from here , ordered kebab to be delivered but no pitta bread .so when I rang up to ask where my pitta bread is they said it will be there in 20 minutes I said my kebab would be cold they did not care . And to top it off there were grey hairs in my kebab so waisted my money ,save your money order from somewhere else..

Order every week and every week there’s something wrong with my order but tonight was the last straw half of my order didn’t arrive they are 5 mins from me and said it will take 30 mins for the rest of it to arrive even though I’d already paid and my kebab was full of hair do yourself a favour go somewhere else

Week later still no refund so asked to make the same order and pick it up.Got the order wrong completely, got home called up and was told to drive 20 mins to get new ones.I did a chargeback as it was inedible and not what we ordered. Please avoid, owner is extremely rude.

Ordered to collect and told would be a half hour wait. On arrival had a 5 minute wait to be seen while they sorted other orders. When I was finally acknowledged I found my order hadn't even been started and everyone just looked confused and passed the blame on. Was told to wait another 10 minutes so just left. Shocking service. The food here is below average at best make the effort to go 3 mins up the road to Maldon highstreet. Won't be returning

Lesson learnt ! This place has really gone down hill. The last time i ordered I had chicken shish and threw most of the chicken in the bin due to it being what I can only explain as rubbery with grissle. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again. But yet again the chicken was blanned, rubbèry and grissly. Not only that my pitta was so soggy, not griddled nice like they used to be. The chilli sauce had a peculiar taste too, as if it was made from old produce. As for the pizza style garlic bread well that was cooked to a crisp and tasteless, that went in the bin too. Have used this place for many years but very disappointed that the standards have changed, time to look for somewhere different. 🍕
