DELIVERY DRIVES TOOK MY MONEY WHICH WAS A TOTAL OF £15 WHICH ALSO DIDNT GIVE ME MY FOOD & STILL WALKED OFF WITH MY MONEY 5MINUTES LATER HE BROUGHT MY MONEY BACK TO ME HE TOOK WHICH HE ONLY. GAVE ME £10 OF IT BACK I CALLED UP TO EXPLAIN THIS AND HE CALLED ME A LIER!!! ONE THING I HAVE RVER BEEN IS A LIER! SO YES PEOPLE PLEASE ADVOID. KARMA IS A GREAT MAN 👍 WHICH ALSO BEING PREGNANT IT IS DISGUSTING TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. DO NOT ORDER!!!

Take away. Salad missing, chilli sauce missing, peppers missing. Last time I use them.

Worst kebab I’ve ever had! Meat was coming thicker than my toe. Grease was dripping everywhere I even fault it was from my hair. Wouldn’t even bother wasting your money.

The Kebab was so small! 4 small bits of chicken that's it? For £10!! I was left hungry and unfulfilled.

We order regularly from Maldon King and we didn’t mind when the prices went up a little but unfortunately we will have to stop. The prices have gone insanely high- £10 for snack wrap meal?!? Add service fee and delivery…too much. I can have lovely racknof ribs at my local pub for less. Maldon king, you just lost a customer :(

Nearly 2 hours for delivery on a Sunday night. If you can’t fulfill the order, then do not take it. And the food that was delivered was not worth the price. Cold, hard and tasteless. What used to be a fantastic takeaway has gone down hill in the past year.

Waited over an hour for some soggy undercooked chips that were stuck to the box and a cold burger that was drenched in garlic sauce. Avoid at all costs!!

Had the king special mixed kebab really worth price. I think it is more than enough for 3 people. Really fresh and delicious. It was really good when I lived in maldon. Now i need drive from colchester to get it but still one of the best kebab.

Ordered chicken strips and chips it came completely inedible looks like it’s been thrown in the box absolutely no care. Called to see if I can get a replacement and they told me there is nothing wrong and they are not willing to do anything about it. It was all stuck to the box and the chicken strips have no coating it’s just mush. Will not order again.

Great food, but honestly unless you go there in person don't bother. The girl on the phone was rude, not pleasant at all and genery unprofessional. I was hung up on twice and then when I called up the third time, somebody else answered the phone and was not even remotely interested in resolving my issues. So I cancelled it off. I only used to use this place all the time and after the last two awful experiences I have had I won't be making any future orders with them again.

After ordering here for some time I've gotta say their food is always delicious and fresh. Very polite and pleasant costumer service too! I'd highly recommend ordering from here if you like great quality food. On a side note I ordered a quarter pounder burger meal here but the chips were missing, so they gave me another quarter pounder meal with chips as compensation. Great costumer service! 👍

Stupid that they don’t do card payments over the phone lost my business for sure now. Maybe you can do card payments online but there stupid website keeps saying our post code is invalid even though I’ve been here 3 years.

Had a takeaway delivery and can’t fault that as it came really quickly. However, when the food arrived it had leaked all out the packaging. I ordered chicken wings and a doner meat box with chips and cheese. Wings were cold and doner meat was awful. Tasted stale and hard and had hard crunchy bits in it; as if it had been left there all evening and just scraped off the bottom. Definitely won’t be ordering here again

I couldn’t eat the meat, it was fatty and chewy! I also ordered chilli sauce and asked for it not to be put on both meals before delivery and put in separate pots. Admittedly the only option I had to do this was in the delivery instructions. But my 82 year old father couldn’t hardly eat his donner meat because it was far too hot for him! On the other hand, the delivery time was great, but will seriously hesitate to order online from you guys again! Sorry!

Repeat customers, not first review here. But had to re-review after tonight. Our food was perfect! Chips are very fresh and piping hot, they always taste so nice. chicken kebab was fresh and tasty with fresh salad and soooo much chicken! Didn’t have lamb doner tonight but this is a favourite of ours from here. We can be quite funny with lamb doner but from here it tastes really good and doesn’t feel too greasy etc. Friendly lady on phone taking orders and friendly delivery drivers who are always on time. Not been let down by Maldon King and can’t wait for the next time!!

The best kebab takeaway I’ve had in 20 years. We had the chicken shish - beautifully cooked moist chicken, presented in a lightly toasted pitta bread with fresh salad. FRESH SALAD. I am a big chilli lover and the chilli sauce is to die for, good heat (I eat vindaloo) and the flavour was there too. Overall a fantastic find, that will not disappoint you. Thanks. Ordered over the phone and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes, upon our arrival it was all bagged up and ready to go when we got home order was correct, nicely cooked and hot and fresh. Nothing not to like, friendly staff upon our arrival good food at a fair price.

Called in on our way home tonight ordered chicken and chips to go, they didn’t have enough chicken for us and as we didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for it to be cooked fresh order a smaller selection. When we got home order was all correct and tasted lovely, also there was plenty for us so really glad we didn’t wait for more to be cooked ha ha.

Normally my favourite but just had the worst lamb donner ever, really disappointed, this place has always been reliable but tonight's pizza was burnt and the lamb donner was so thinly sliced and burnt and dry. Such a shame.

No queue , no busy. Ordered combination kebab, chicken shish and chicken donner with salads and sauce + chips. Received plain donner kebab with hair in it and something what they calling chips. No salads, no sauces. Disgusting

Oh my god so very very disappointed. Never have an issue with my food ever! But meat was so really greasy tonight...even the shish 🤔 My delivery just seemed too quick where usually its up to an hour which more than happy to wait but from order to door 20 minutes seems too quick for me....Just awful guys...what happened?

Ordered shish meat, chips, fried chicken, donner kebab, pizza and took it home, this was for me wife and two young kids. Came to about £38. First of all my donner, they started packing my salad separately, which I thought was odd, I asked him to just throw it in with the kebab, but he said no he’ll put in separate box. I didn’t realize until I got home why the salad and meat came in separate boxes, it was because there was so much of it, I ordered the ‘medium’ kebab (the smallest they offer) and yet the amount I had was definitely more than other “large” kebabs I’ve had. The meat was good, the salad was crunchy and fresh, added their chili and garlic sauce, was great! Wife ate the portion of shish meat and said was good, kids shared the pizza, we couldn’t even eat the chips (also a huge portion) and fried chicken as too full. In the famous words of the Terminator, “I’ll be back”

100% the best takeaway around Maldon, travelled down for two weeks and not many places to order food from but this place easily the best and food and portions is great 👍, thanks

Delivery was good. Food was not great but adequate, but I suppose that’s why they are cheap/basic take away rather than when they where in Mill Road and great. Food was burnt in places.

Good kebabs, pizza and chicken done how you want it by a good bunch of guys. Order ahead for collection for me is best, but they also deliver. Enjoy.😀🍕🌯🇹🇷

Would give a zero rating for this place! Ordered food for delivery and over 40 mins later and after 4 calls they had lost our order and it finally arrived and said I will give u a free pizza next time. We said No thank you take our food away as cold and then he offered us food for free with a refund to which we also refused. We had never been informed how long our order would take to arrive but didnt think it wouldn't be that long! Don't order from here!!

Ordered a takeaway. Restaurant forgot 2 items from our order so someone had to go hungry. They sent them out but was stone cold when they arrived. All food was cold. Awful Soggy chips, the Kebab and burger were totally tasteless. Such a waste of money , really disappointed

Past couple of "large" kebabs been short on the meat department when ordering a large, but when mentioned they came up right on last order.. I'm sure I will be ordering another large one again, so hope I get a large as before and that they don't go back and give me a small! Burgers are good so no complaints there! I'll report again!!

Had a few nice meals from here but this time was not good. Chicken burger was dripping in so much mayo that the bun was soggy and i had to scoop spoonfuls out to try and eat. Cant imagine why anyone would think this was ok to serve. Lettuce was brown and soggy. Chips ok and delivery time good. Such a shame.

The driver put the wrong post code in when delivering so the food wasn’t particularly warm. The burger bun was so full of Mayo that it was soggy and falling apart. The chips were soggy too and the chicken wings were over cooked. My partner enjoyed his food but I personally wouldn’t order from here again.

Previously we'd only ever brought kebabs from Best kebab in Heybridge. After a few disappointing and cold meals. We'd soon realised their quality had declined drastically. Tonight we decided to try something new for a change and I can only describe it as a revelation. The food was fresh, hot, delicious and delivered on time. The delivery was very polite and kind. 10/10 this will defiantly become our new trusty regular kebab shop.

Well lv given up always order from them ordered a ten inch vegetarian, ten inch pepperoni, and garlic bread. Got the vegetarian, and garlic bread no pepperoni. Phone , then bought me another garlic bread, phone again, another garlic bread with bits of pepperoni on. Two months ago ordered and the order was right but food luke warm not even hot let that go.as maybe the driver got lost If they can get the orders right, and food to you still hot no problem

I usually get their Kebabs which I love but i’ve recently also tried their Pizzas.. one word, amazing! Lovely team & great service too. Definitely recommend x

Food wrong 5 times in a row Phoned up to complain, this time.. the lady on the phone was lovely and helpful But the boss brought her to tears over the mess ups.. Refused to do a discount for 5 incomplete/wrong orders and had a go at her saying the only way to give a discount is if it came out of her pocket You're truly a disgusting boss, and person that's no way to treat your staff, let alone even consider bringing a woman to tears

We order quite regularly from Maldon King Kebab and it is the third time my food wasn't up to standard. I usually go for a veggie wrap with halloumi cheese but last time it was so burnt I had to chuck most of my wrap away! This time I decided to go safe with chicken doner wrap and I received a wrap with cold meat and bone inside. Don't think that was done meat at all...feels like an old chicken was put in.

Service was friendly and delivered within the time. Chips were nice and crispy, kebab was tasty, although the chilli sauce didn't have the chilli kick.

Possibly the tastiest Turkish takeaway shop in Essex! Their chicken shish kebabs are always on the top of my list when I go there and their pizzas also have a fantastic flavour I've not managed to find anywhere else! The biggest problem I have is that I don't live in Maldon and can't get there more often!

Had a doner kebab tonight and was absolutely lovely. Very fresh, hot, and so much flavour. Couldn’t finish it all as was a big portion size but really wanted to keep eating as it was delicious. One of the best lamb doner kebabs I’ve had.

Oh god, what ever we order never have a problem. Chicken kebabs are so good, salad is so fresh, and onions rings always turn up hot and crispy. Chips bang on, cooked well and hot on arrival...no complaints here guys, keep up the good work...

We order kebabs from Maldon King a couple of times a month and they are usually really good. Unfortunately today’s food was not only late but also not edible. My kebab wrap had 5 large pieces of chicken 3 of which were hard and chewy so couldn’t eat them. Half of the food had to go in food waste as we couldn’t eat it. Such a shame as normally they are quite good.

i just had donna kebab chips and onion rings and i have got to say it was discusting,everything was stone cold the kebab was dry and over cooked and the meat was really tough and the onion rings was cold and sogy totally revolting
