Food OK but truly appalling service from surly, unfriendly counter staff and half hearted table cleaning by a young lad who didn't appear to want to be there. Three breakfasts took over 45 minutes from order to service. Very expensive for what it is - a greasy spoon - it used to be decent but this will be my last ever visit.

Ordered on line for collection. Great service and easy collection. Meatballs were delicious. Pre done with sauce and just pop in the oven, easy no prep meal. Pork meat really tender and fresh flavour.

The golden bell is a great friendly pub. The bar staff will not only serve you but chat to you. The locals love banter and will involve you quite quickly if you are not local. Visited on a Friday and Saturday and found the atmosphere amazing. All walks of life in here just wanting to let the stresses off life just wash over them.

Please don't waste your money, apart from the egg shell in my special rice ( unfortunate.. It happens) the food was tasteless worst korma and butter chicken I have ever had in my life.. Didnt even finish my meal.. Not authentic Indian food. Cheap rip off. I'm am never this blunt so apologies but it needed to be said.

Order arrived over an hour late, following the just-eat app, they didn’t start cooking till after my requested delivery time.

We were looking for a venue for a surprise celebration and hired out the dining area of the Clay Pipe. It easily accommodated some 60 guests with room to spare, which was very affordable. We had our own private bar area and a cold buffet was supplied by the establishment at extra cost. The whole evening went off without a hitch. The food was plentiful and the staff very attentive. We would certainly use this place again. Highly recommended.

Ordered today knowing this place is under new owners but was very please with my order nice size portions and very good food

Had a chicken burger with chips, onion rings and a pepsi max. Chips were good, but as the guy was packing it a small amount went on the counter. He picked them up and put them back in with the other chips ready to serve up which I thought was odd. The chicken in the burger was tough and tasteless and had a greyish colour. Not appetising at all and I ate less than half. Onion rings are mushy and have just a hint of onion about them, otherwise tasteless. I know it's cheap food and I was in a pinch, but total bill was £10.50 which I thought was dear for this kind of food. Probably fine if you've been on a night out and you're drunk, but if you're sober I'd give it a miss. Forgot to mention, I had to ask for ketchup for the chips, otherwise you don't get any!

Ssrvice was quick, food was fresh and tasty. Eat a few things I might not normally eat. Staff was attentive without being overly so. Would eat here again but just passing thru on a canal boat.

The food reminds me of Traditional home cooking.

Was a lovely friendly comfortable place to eat with a small family. Shame it was closing that same week.

Poor quality food, squid was overcooked resulting in it being to rubbery to eat, the special fried rice only had peas in it and the sea speed prawns had no flavour. The Dragon Inn used to be such a nice Chinese takeaway however they have really let it go down hill.

Had a table booked for 6:30pm, ordered drinks which took about half hour to arrive and had to be chased, which ended up being a can from a fridge! It’s a set Buffett menu, ordered starters which agin took about 40 mins if not longer to arrive with more chasing and trying to order more drinks which arrived eventually with more chasing. We sat for over an hour and a half waiting for main course which didn’t arrive so we gave up and told them we were leaving as we had had enough of the terrible service and wait times… we had NO apology and the “manager” had to be called over as they didn’t know what to charge us for the starters with it being a set menu! There is absolutely no way we should have been asked to pay for anything with such terrible service and no food turning up… after being charged £35 for 2 drinks and a starter we left - very disappointed very disgruntled and will NEVER return… ended up going to another nearby Chinese to get a takeaway instead! Used to be a good Chinese but is absolutely appalling now! Don’t bother visiting!
