Clay Pipe in Central Bedfordshire

Although we were there because of a sad occasion (wake) it didn't disappoint, bar service pleasant and efficient, clean premises and toilets, and food very good, so we'll done to all the staff.

I couldn't fault this place. The food was superb with good size portions. Service and attention was great and the value was terrific. I highly recommend the Clay Pipe.

Brilliant service and chef rowena went above and beyond with the roast dinner. Beef a pork was cooked to perfection . Topped off with crispy carrots and parsnips and extra cheesy cauliflower cheese!!

Best pub in Leighton Buzzard. Great owners and staff. Lots of dart boards and pool tables and great selection of beers.....

We are down from Scotland to visit with family. Came in for a meal and had Steak and Ale Pie, well I have to admit it was 100% better and tastier than a 4star hotel in loans, Ayrshire.

Went on a Wednesday evening, so it was a quiet time. Staff were friendly and efficient when serving. Plenty of seating inside

updated June'23 The Planets’ estate has their pub back. New management recently took over and we have been in a few times since. Managers and staff friendly and welcoming! At last, a short walk to get a cold pint and now food too instead having to always go into town. Varied options on the menu including a handful of fully plant based options. Prices good too. I hope the residents on the Planets support them and we continue to have a decent, local pub. pre-june'23 - 1 star Local estate pub; bit of an old man's/ after work pub. Staff indifferent to customers. Menu poor with no decent plant based options. Has pool tables and dartboards and scheduled event evenings.

Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Didn't have food but the drinks were fine and not too expensive. Sat outside, which was pleasant enough. Plenty of space. Lots of different rooms inside. Separate areas for pool and darts. Had new owners within the last 2 months, but so far so good

Lovely roast in the restaurant area for fathers day, great separate sports bar with plenty of darts, tvs and pool tables that offer contactless card payment facility, large beer garden when it's good weather like today, all round a great local. Wish I could get down there more often.

Lovely place, great people and atmosphere. They have pool tables and darts room also. Food options and a variety of draft drinks. We had a lovely afternoon, and we will be back again as soon as possible. Great place,highly recommended 👌 👍

Large pub with plenty of room. I enjoyed the music playing (not live) but wouldn't appeal to all people I'm sure. Only had one ale on (Doombar) but that was well kept

Great pub but can't a pint of cider they try to put a head on by the time i sit down the bubbles have gone end up with three quarters of a pint

For me it has everything people beer darts pool nothing to much trouble great food watch sport on TV outside area great most of all spotless inside and out cant change anything because they have got it right now

Enjoyed the hospitality and the well kept Doombar beer. Only 4stars because nothing is perfect, but this place comes pretty close.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Great service with a friendly manner. Food was excellent too. I have to say it was not what I was expecting. Clean and tidy and a very reasonable selection of food. Keep up the good work.

Had roast on Sun 5th September. It was amazing. The meat was tender, the stuffing was the best I've ever had and the veg was cooked perfectly. There were 6 of us including 2 children and we were well looked after throughout. Would highly recommend.

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. They book some great singers and bands and the beer tastes great. Served up by lovely bar staff ( two of my friends with there so I have to say that 😂). Go have a drink or three there, you won't be disappointed

We came here for a Sunday dinner as we were passing. We hadn't booked but were seated straight away. We had table service and the food was served promptly and was very tasty.
