Rumbles fish bar in Central Bedfordshire

Called into Rumbles for fish and chips around 8.30pm on a Friday evening. Our food was ready immediately and the staff were friendly and polite. Portion size is huge. We found one medium fish and chips could easily serve two people. Food was very fresh and tasty. Recommended.

Horrific experience, ordered through just eat and after 1 hr 30 mins over the estimated delivery time my partner understandably phoned the shop to see where it was, she was told that just eat had it but couldn’t tell her when it left the shop then he put the phone down, I then phoned extremely exasperated, and although I know you’ll think there are two sides to every story I was calm and measured but was met with complete disregard and aggression , 51 years of age, my first ever review, and for all that is holy DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tasty, hot and really fresh food. These guys work so hard and they’re always really busy which says it all! This place works for the whole family as you can buy everything from fish and chips to burgers and fried chicken. Best takeaway in LB!

I’ve lived in Leighton Buzzard for 10 years and I have only used a few takeaways as I am a bit funny trying somewhere new but last night I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried a different fish and chip shop. Well what can I say I visited Rumbles takeaways last night and WOW I was blown away on the quality of the food and the portions sizes and prices. We tried fish and chips, kebabs and burgers and I couldn’t believe how fantastic it was I have a very fussy family and I have found a takeaway that I can order everything from 1 place. If you haven’t tried it yet I would recommend you try this fast food takeaway.

This my 2nd visit here and I’ve noticed the chilli sauce has changed and is much tastier. The kebab is very tasty and the portion is ok. The chips are freshly made and very good quality.

This fish bar is in an unusual location as it’s the middle of a new housing estate it would be thriving if it was in town. The kebabs are very tasty but the salad was quite small.

Ordered online and picked up ten minutes later, there’s a section on the app that says well done for the donner kebab, one of us ticked it and one of us didn’t but they were identical. It was very tasty and the portion was generous. I’ll visit again.
