Always order from Himalaya - Food quality is great. Sometimes takes a while for delivery but the food always arrives at the time specified. Would highly recommend

We didn’t receive any onion barjis and we were delivered meat samosas not vegetable ones, we’re vegetarian and I only realised after I’d bitten into it. Terrible

Came here for a birthday dinner. No one was in there apart from us, so it was quite peaceful, apart from a worker coughing really loudly to the point it sounded like he was going to throw up. Not great for hygiene (their rating is 3). The samosas were ok, but more spicy than seasoned. Butter chicken was very sweet, it felt more like I was eating a dessert. Garlic naan was quite nice though. Tables were very squeaky and chairs were just a plank of wood with fabric on them.

Food was nice until we found some plastic bag in our naan bread, unfortunately my daughter had already eaten some before we found it. It ruined the meal as she felt worried that she’d ingest plastic bag and we were concerned about what else was in our food

Delivered it to the wrong address. My neighbour had to go round the house’s knocking on the doors to find out who it belonged to.

Food is consistently great and rich in flavour. Experience is tempered by the rude delivery driver which stops me ordering more than i do.

Was told on delivery we are too far next time they will not deliver for free! Change your delivery charge area, it is not our fault our area is set to free delivery

Ordered for immediate delivery and app said that it would be 30-45 mins. After payment was taken it then said it would actually be 1 hour 30 minutes. Even then, they were still late. If we had know it would be that long we wouldn’t have ordered. No point in calling as they just tell you it’s on the way when it isn’t.

hands down the best Indian food we have ever eaten. they take their allergens and dietary requests very seriously so I feel safe ordering from them and the chaps that deliver are ever so polite. can't recommend highly enough.

ordered at 7pm and food arrived at 9:15pm after two phone calls. Food arrived luke warm and spilt all out the containers. sauce pots broken in half half and every curry container squashed and leaking all over everything.

Utter disgrace. Staff were totally uninterested and the food was rancid. Two of our party members had instant diarrhoea and one was sick four times within 45 minutes of leaving. Yuck.

If I could give no stars I would, awful service, felt like we were a burden, food wasnt great at all, sent drinks back for dirty glasses, 2 of our group had diarrhoea and 1 sick not long after leaving, the place is so run down and dirty, highly recommend you avoid.

Food was banging but one item missing

Order placed in advance for 19:30 delivery and wasn’t delivered until 20:20. Food was cold and delivery person the rudest I’ve ever seen.

Went here for a quick Indian. Can’t fault the food. We mixed a hot dish with naga chillies and a mango dish for contrast. Onion rice was delicious. Papadams to start, amazing. And Saag aloo. Daughter had butter lamb. All Served and delicious. I don’t drink so 1 Indian beer, 2 J2’os and a pint of coke for under £60 for 2 adults. Restaurant police recommended — eating dinner with David Thurlow and Natalie Victoria Thurlow at Himalaya Restaurant Leighton Buzzard.

First time ordering, definitely a good meal in on a busy night

The food arrived 15 minutes later than the latest anticipated time. The order was missing an item. What arrived was tasty.

We didn't order poppadoms as we normally receive them free of charge so when we spent almost £75 on an order and didn't receive any we were disappointed. We also received a Saag Aloo instead of a Saag Bhaji. But other than that the good was beautiful as usual.

Highly recommend. Christmas meal was perfect.

After being massively let down by another local Indian restaurant, The Raj, we called in here on a whim. Boy am I glad we did, I might have just found my new favourite Indian restaurant. I was worried that the meal wouldn't be as good as I'd built in my mind I was going have in my local before they royally messed me and my family about. I'm delighted to say that not only was the dinner I had better presented, it also tasted a LOT better, even down to the quality of meat used. VERY HAPPY. My entire family out last night had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and the staff there were superb. VERY polite, friendly and professional. From what started as a night ruined by The Raj, we were saved and then some by The Himalaya. Looking forward to visiting here again and another superb meal soon.

The order took 90 minutes to arrive and was lukewarm when it was delivered. Poppadums were chewy not crunchy. A bit disappointing to be honest, we’ve always enjoyed meals from here in the past.

Very expensive for small portions. Mint yoghurt was off and had split. Chewy meat. Cold on arrival.

Food was late, cold and yes I have dogs that bark, I lock them away from front door but to have cold delivery thrown at you because he can hear dogs barking, definately not see them, get a delivery driver who is not scared of sound of dogs, many of us customers have dogs that bark when someone comes to the door. Couldn't eat food, so cold and I don't like food microwaved, could have got it 20th of price in shop if I wanted a hot microwaved curry

OK food but so late, and not even a polite apology

Food arrived 2 hours after our order was made, and I had to call them twice the chase. It used to be such a good restaurant, such a shame

Over two hours late. And just said sorry. Had to call and find out where the food Was. Last time ordered they said I need to come and collect. They put it down to traffic. It was a 15 minute drive to restaurant.

Food was lovely, rarity to have a takeaway come and everything be there and hot. Preordered for 7pm and came early which was a bonus as I’d over shot the time I wanted it delivered. Will be ordering again.

Bland, greasy absolutely horrible. Would avoid at all costs. Partner and I had upset stomachs for a while after this. Also the worst balti I have ever had tasted nothing like a balti should

Thought I’d try the Himilaya as a change to my trusted local - The Raj - as I wanted a cold bottle of Cobra and this establishment offers that as a menu item. The delivery was late - with no apology. The food was cold when unpacked, the main dish I removed half a ladle of oil from the surface. Once I’d battled the oil spill and reheated each dish, it was all dry and tasteless. Poppadoms stale, mint sauce like water. Poor standards all round. Back to The Raj.

I’m never disappointed with any meal from the Himalaya. It’s a family favourite.

I waited over an hour for my food. Once it finally arrived it was the wrong order and all of it was cold.
