Food OK but truly appalling service from surly, unfriendly counter staff and half hearted table cleaning by a young lad who didn't appear to want to be there. Three breakfasts took over 45 minutes from order to service. Very expensive for what it is - a greasy spoon - it used to be decent but this will be my last ever visit.

We have just moved to the estate from Berkhamsted found this cafe just around the corner pleasantly supprised friendly staff nice and clean loads of choices,keep it up girls all you need now is a few hot rods parked out side!

Lovely staff always does a nice brekki for me in the mornings or sometimes lunch time all ways have the same with my latte in a take away cup 😊 and very chatty always makes you feel welcome from Tarren Avalon cleaning

Traditional cafe located on an Industrial Estate, just off Grovebury Road (almost opposite Buttle's builders merchants). Slightly retro feel to the place. Great selection of breakfast type items item's on offer, lovely to see something old fashioned like "cheese on toast" on the menu. Good for a quick snack.

This lovely cafe is perfect for a relaxing catch up with a friend or a calm tea and cake for your self. The staff are really friendly, approachable and there is a sense of community here. Love the food, good coffee, great cakes but I am mostly fond of the freshly baked croissants. 😊 The prices are really good too.

24 High StreetExcellent food and service; the hostess who served us was very friendly and efficient and very good value - particularly the cake portions which at some establishments can be somewhat disappointing Just one disappointing element - the toilet could do with a freshen up as its a bit "tired and grubby". Won't stop us coming back though!

20 High Street SouthVisited for coffee and cake, apparently this has been taken over recently so the current service does not seem to reflect the previous reviews on this site. We waited for ages for a couple of coffees and cake to be brought over, was also pretty smoky in there from whatever was cooking. Plus point was that the cakes we had were really nice, the coffee was nice but lukewarm and the 15 minutes it took to get them wasn't great. Also, some of the décor is a bit worn out. The place was not busy when we visited mid-morning so could really do a lot better.

7-9 Leighton RoadThe Dukes hosted my daughter's wedding reception...we were all absolutely delighted! They went above and beyond to make sure the day went perfectly! It was a smallish wedding with 60 people and the venue was perfect...intimate and cosy and perfect for a buffet and lots of dancing! The package they provided was brilliant and very good value.. Including accommodation for the bride and groom and some guests...my daughter was also given a quaint little cottage to get ready in! The staff worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble...thanks so much 😘
