Had a private party. James the landlord could not do enough to accommodate us ans make everything special. The area we had was clean tidy and well organised. The staff were all so helpful and couldn't do enough. Brilliant atmosphere and service.

Just off the high street in Leighton buzzard a very old traditional pub. Unfortunately they don't serve food at the moment. Due to me driving I had a cappuccino. Pleasant member of staff and the cappuccino was nice and hot. It's so nice to visit a traditional pub

Great Pub.! Tuesday Evening Open Mic is cracking…Friday and Saturday entertainment most of the time with great bands and Acoustic Sundays from 2pm always have amazing artists. Totally recommend a visit if you’ve never been…. You’ll always return….

One of the best pubs in town, great service every time! The team are always happy to help. Loads of events including live music, quizzes and karaoke. Great outdoor area too. Come here for a cracking night out.

Quaint Public house in the heart of Leighton. Pop down to relax and unwind possibly to get away from the nagging other half or for a few drinks. The atmosphere is great at all times.

Sunday lunch very well catered for especially as I’m a Vegetarian. My company had Pork was very good too all very tasty + plentiful followed by excellent dessert 🍮 good quantity. Definitely recommend this pub + would definitely return with their friendly service.

Our local and absolute favourite pub in the local area. Beautiful features and friendly staff in equal measures! We had our engagement party here last year and they were incredible.

We came to see 'The Weathertop Preachers' Last Sunday. What a great afternoon! They were an excellent pair of musicians, with a great range of songs. We would love to see them again. I loved drinking here. Great music and the service is very quick. They also have a large beer garden which is very nice to drink in. The drink selection was great to the point I felt spoilt for choose. I would highly recommend paying a visit here.

I popped into this pub on Tuesday Night with a work mate and have to say the quality of service in these challenging times was second to none. The team were smiling, engaging and professional while giving the best service.

Lovely staff, go there every week with my sister. Not expensive. Only usually go for a drink so can't give any opinion on the food other than whatever I have seen coming out as customer orders looks very edible :0)

Popped in for some food, before meeting friends to go and watch football. The staff are fantastic and remember your drinks orders for next time you go to the bar. The food is locally sourced from the market and local butchers Stratons. The food os really good quality and amazing value. Will definitely be going again

Lovely Pub often visit when staying over from Luton. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and very friendly and they do a fab Stowford Press Cider and we hear the food is great also and we will def try on our next visit. Lovely and clean with no beer stains on tables!..not like some of the other local pubs.

Best breakfast and value for money. Locally sourced products. Full of taste and flavour so lacking in your average breakfast. Believe me in saying that I've had a few. Apart from the food service here is excellent , with a smile and friendly banter. While here enjoyed some friendly conversation with a couple of the locals. Looking forward to my next visit.

Just had another great breakfast in the golden bell food is great the only problem today was the behaviour of a customer ( regular) whilst waiting for our food to be cooked he went off on a rant about a member of your staff who he would like to take out outside and punch his lights out the language he used was not pleasant and I was disappointed that the two staff behind the bar didn’t pull him up on it but just laughed with him I don’t blame the landlord or lady lady as neither were present but maybe some training of staff would be helpful it soured the atmosphere in the pub and to say it in front of children ( his own I think ) is awful. Breakfast was still nice and thankfully he’s left soon after his rant .

Fantastic hospitality and great food. Suzanne made us feel so welcome. Fortunate to have the weather on our side as we had a late lunch on a gorgeous, flowered patio. Sorry we couldn't stay longer and enjoy live music in the evening. This pub is well worth a visit at anytime. A&K

This is a great pub that has all you need when out with friends or watching sport. The staff are great and the selection of drinks is excellent. The outdoor space is wonderful in the sunshine. I would say this is a great place to spend an evening in the Buzzard.

We use to visit this pub regularly but we just havent had the time recently. As the menu had changed we thought we'd give it a go. The pub, as always, was busy but we were served quite quickly and the staff were friendly and polite. The menu is typical pub grub with burgers being a staple. There isnt a lot of choice for veggies/vegans and what there is, is quite carb heavy. My husband enjoyed his food but the chicken wings lacked flavour, which was a shame. However, we will return

Has been my favorite pub in Leighton Buzzard for more than 10yrs. Hand pulled beers are always top notch served by friendly staff. March 2019 - still a great pub, it's a shame no peas are offered with their steaks!
