The best restaurants serving Default food in Aspley and Woburn Central Bedfordshire East of England

A wonderful, warm welcome on our first visit here. A lovely atmosphere throughout, but we particularly enjoyed the cosy area downstairs with comfortable sofas, atmospheric lighting and a chilled vibe. Coffee was excellent and the choice of delicious cakes was a lovely surprise. Definitely returning here.

For what we paid £1100 - it was quite expensive. All very nice but genuinely too pricey. The restaurant was like dining in someone’s front room.

Visited on a Monday evening around 7:30pm. It wasn’t too busy but it wasn’t quiet either. A nice and steady evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The waiters were very polite and service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere stole the show for me. A lot of restaurants you visit these days are drowning in loud music and loud patrons. However, at Blue Orchid they have really cracked it. The lighting, the volume of the music. Left feeling full but not stuffed and very relaxed. Just what you need.

What a lovely experience. The food was fantastic, and the staff and service was extremely good. Great for a special occasion, or if you feel like indulging yourself. 10/10

Good local pub. Inside can get crowded easily but there is some nice outside space with glam pods. Definitely worth a visit post MTB ride in nearby trails.

Guys you need to try this place you won’t be disappointed. Everything is amazing. A little different and that makes the difference the mock tails at delicious 😋

A delightful village pub in a village of many parts. Find the church & the pub is opposite.

We booked for a party of 17 people for my sister who has terminal cancer, when we got there we were told that our tables were outside as we were a large booking there was insufficient room inside for us all, a deposit of £20 per head was payable in advance to confirm the booking which would be deducted from final bill, table service was abysmal we all had to get our own cutlery and condiments, we also had to go to the bar to order our food and drinks, had we been inside we would've had waitress service, 9 of the 17 were disappointed with their orders, I was charged £5 extra for garden peas as I didn't want mushy peas with my order of fish n chips, the order looked nice when it came tho I was disappointed with the fish as it was all batter and no fish after going to the bar to complain I was told someone would be out to see me, ten minutes later the barman came out and I showed him the fish, he offered to replace the fish, I said no it's ok could I change order to steak and ale pie, he returned and said I would have to wait 30 minutes, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. My sister's food needed to be liquidised as she can't swallow properly hers was the last meal to arrive and that was cold, needless to say she didn't eat it, all in all the bill came to over £1200, an expensive disappointment and big let down for what could be a final meal with family for someone who's been told they only have a matter of days or weeks to live, 🥺 poor service and to top it all no apology from the manager either.😔

I had food here, the quality of beef was poor. There is not a lot of competition here. I won’t b coming back. you would really not want drive to eat here.

Had a surprise birthday party here for our Mum. Was great service from the second we enquired to after the party, even checking if everything was ok post party. Lovely venue and a lovely vibe. Catered to all our needs and more
