Deep Blue Fish & Chips in Central Bedfordshire

Love this place but absolutely disgusted with my order today. Ordered a large cod but it was 2 small pieces that were mostly batter, hardly any fish what so ever....really really disappointed 🙁 Cant see anywhere to up load picture. If you don't have large cod then take off menu.

I drove all the way to them now to be told they don't have any of the advertised £6.99 offer in stock. They then offered me a larger more expensive option. Feels like a bait & switch.

Our firt time visting Great service lovely friendly lady named Tamia served us fish and chips she cooked it to perfection and was helpful throughout just the nicest lady and best chips I've had in a long time With good atmosphere friendly vibe great food what more could you ask for I live about 20mins away but will come here for chips from now on everytime thanks to Tamia and deep blue fish and chips 🍟 💙

This was my first time visiting and Keely was a fantastic server. Super professional and so kind. The fish and chips I received were hot and ready to "chow down on". If your looking for delicious food and top tier customer service, this is definitely the place.

Walked up to this place for a quick takeout. Was really craving some fish and chips. Keely took down my order. She was an absolute sweetheart. Very professional. The food came out absolutely delicious. Sorry in advance, there was no chance of getting a photo of it as I ate it as quick as possible.

My husbad and I came here while on our vacation. I was blown away with the service and the quality of the food. We love everything about our experience here and will definitely be coming back. Our server Keely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Very tasty fish and chips, and good size portions for good value. I will say the service is slightly slower than you’d expect, but considering there was only 2 members of staff, they did well.

Did a pit stop at Deep Blue for a Chip Thing* & a Cherry Coke whilst passing through the very lovely Woburn Sands, & was served by the very lovely Lakeisha. Textbook experience! *A small, snack sized box of chips, perfect when you're on the go & you need a little pick-me-up. I do miss the cardboard cone though :'(

I came to visit this chippy on the off chance as I headed home ! I ordered cod and chips, pie and chips. The service was exceptional from Keely. She was polite and welcoming and made me feel at ease as I did not know their full menu. Keely dealt with my order quickly and efficiently. The food was worth the money! Tasted amazing! Thank you!

Keely was absolutely awesome. Made sure everything I needed was taken care of, pushed to be as speedy as possible, and didn't compromise on watching the quality.

Awful all round. Will not use again. Having had to wait 25 minutes for 2 battered sausages and one portion of chips, bearing in mind there was one other person in the shop..... when we got home after a 7 minute drive and everything was stone cold. Not even sure if the sausages were cooked properly. Avoiding like the plague from now on.

the best fish and chips I have ever had. And I have tried many different shops not just around MK but compared it to shops in other cities located in the north lake district and London. their batter keeps the fish hot and fresh as you eat, it crunchie and crispy but light, the fish is fresh and flaky just lovely 😍. the chips are fresh and just so tasty! love this place

Come here regularly on a Tuesday before Rainbows and my daughter loves it. Bit on the pricier side at almost £13 for 1 adult sausage and chips, and a kids meal, but worth it. Good portions and friendly staff who go out of their way to interact with my daughter as well as me. They are also meticulous when it comes to cooking food and I constantly see them with food thermometers checking the sausages Ive eaten so I feel confident. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I recently traveled all the way from Scotland to visit friends and family in Milton Keynes, and we decided to go out for some fish and chips at Deep Blue in Woburn Sands. I must say, the food was absolutely lovely! The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy batter, and the chips were deliciously golden and fluffy. What made the experience even better was the amazing, friendly staff. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Deep Blue for anyone looking for a great fish and chips experience

Ordered our food online. Nice and easy. I am GF. Locally I have not been able to have fish and chips. I got to the shop early, where staff were washing their hands making sure the equipment was clean and using the GF equipment. In a separate GF fryer. Mine was prepared in a different area and separate bag. Staff were friendly and told me how the prepare GF food. As you can see in the pictures the food was lovely. The other food was lovely too. I didn’t take a picture of theirs as I was to excited about mine . I will be seeing them again . Thank you

Told 20 minute wait for chips so went away hungry. I don’t know any chip shop that would make you wait that long for chips even when busy.

Freshly cooked lunchtimes no real complaints. Only feedback was portion is a bit smaller than some other fish and chip shops locally and no sauce/mushy peas included, but was good value, especially when accounting for the 10% instore epos discount :)

Chips are mixed with old one and some are black. Had to be thrown. Portion is small

Absolutely appalled by the customer service and the food, went in around lunch time for some chips, not only where they over cooked and expensive the attitude of the lady that served me was unprofessional and unpleasant. She came across very rude and had no manners whatsoever. I’m extremely disappointed and would recommend to anyone who wants to give this a try to just go get a maccies. More flavour in a bag of frozen chips from Asda.

Despite offering average quality fish and chips, this place falls short in value for money. The prices are quite high for what you get. If you're willing to splurge for a quick fix, it's an option, but don't expect anything extraordinary for the cost.

The food was nice, however we got given the wrong order. We got given a battered sausage instead of cod and only had one curry sauce, even though we ordered two. We had pre ordered an hour in advance, so feel disappointed with the mix up as we were really looking forward to our dinner. We drove to collect and didn’t want to drive all the way back just to get a new order as we live 10 mins away.

Such a shame we used to have an amazing fish and chip shop in Woburn Sands now the chips are like cardboard pies like Wood and the fish is overcooked and dry

Waited forever to get the worst tasting chips I’ve ever had , overcooked and dry. Looking at other reviews I notice that none of the past criticisms have been heeded. Still churning out an inferior product. Will never buy from or recommend Deep Blue.

Disappointing. Waited 15 minutes after ordering and gave up. Nothing complicated and could see my food was available but "have to do orders in order" and couldn't afford to wait for multiple fish orders first I gave up and got my money back. Won't be back.
