Absolutely loved this pub! After a long dog walk on Aspley Heath what better place to relax in this beautiful little pub. Wide selection of drinks and great little food menu, bar was packed with locals and the outdoor area was busy with walkers and dogs. The outside tables are covered with individual booths with heaters, lights, cushions and blankets. A must for anyone that wants a cold pint after a long walk. Definitely returning!

The best pub in Woburn Sands, and one of the very best in the area. I come here all the time. Brilliant staff, and a wide range of drinks and bar snacks. Cosy inside, and heated pods for sitting outside when it's chilly. Also live music, featured events and food vans. I've never left here disappointed, and you won't either!

I'm one of the most frequently booked musicians that play at the Royal Oak in Apsley Heath, and it's always a riotous good time every time. The locals have well and truly got behind this place, and rightly so. They're all big characters and aren't ever afraid of getting up and having a dance, even if sometimes we all struggle a bit for room! 😅 The bar is loaded for all your alcoholic beverage needs including beers, guest ales, wines and spirits, and the pub also plays host to various food trucks and mobile catering units. In addition to live music, there's always an assortment of classic pub entertainment such as quizzes, open mic nights and even speed dating. Sure, it might not be the biggest pub in the county, but it more than makes up for it in character and popularity. Here's to many more wild nights at The Royal Oak! 🌳🍻

The Royal Oak is an awesome pub. The outdoor pods are super cosy and the selection of sausage rolls and cakes are a lovely addition. Not a wide selection of beers available but for a pint after a walk it's perfect.

A significant shift towards the London overspill (to be generous) and to be less generous, near brazenly noveau riche. If you like pretentious staff and clientele, fill your boots. If not, you're probably best off finding somewhere closer to MK. It is a shame. Woburn Sands has nowhere that caters to anyone who likes pubs without kids and families after 6 or 7 or 8 pm or sports. Worse still if you are working class as £££s. The one star is because the last pint I had there (11/6/22) tasted off and lo my bowels agreed. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

What a fantastic find - hidden away in the back streets of Woburn Sands this is a proper pub. No pool tables, no dartboard, no food, just a good place to sit and catch up with friends old and new. Do yourself a favour and switch your phone off when you park up (yes, there's a car park), you won't regret it.

A very welcoming experience thanks to the excellent heritage centre guides who knew their stuff and pointed us in the right direction. The Centre is a must visit not just for aged train spotters but for every one. The line has a new future with East West Rail which needs all our support to get locals back on trains. Great coffee and cake made the day.
