The best restaurants serving Default food in South Derbyshire East Midlands

Just had a delivery of cold food, The Nachos supreme was swimming in spicy sauce which was so overpowering. Normally one of my fav dishes. They also got the order wrong. Feels like they have gone down hill

Had a curry the first night ov them opening from a 1 month holiday. The curry was shocking The curry sauce was so thick it was uneatable. The beef in it was terrible. And the spare ribs was full of pure fat. Will never eat from there again. The fried rice was half a tub.

Crap service. Allows the food to sit out waiting for delivery for 40 minutes, food was stone cold unedible. Rang the store and you get the same "ring Uber not my problem" common sense would be to ring Uber and complain your customers are recieving cold food not punish the customer. Awful

Was a shame the restaurant had to close, but thankfully the takeaway is still up and running. Not only that they do the most amazing punk pizzas as well. Loaded fries are a favourite, burgers are great and pizza you can build yourself is amazing. Fresh dough makes all the difference. Yes it’s only takeaway and they are only on just eat… but definitely worth trying especially on a Tuesday as you get discounts.

What was thought to be a lovely local and new to the area, we were area they have new owners but was shown true colours after a couple of weeks. 1st time landlanding shouting at people on the carpark. We gave the benefit of the doubt and visited for one hour against the following week as we live accross the road and from nowhere the landlandy appear from nowhere and starting on customers being very disrespectful and aggressive arguemtive who seemed to be very relaxed before they appeared. Quite shocked with the way the owners/landlord/landlady behaviour to ensure honisit. Save to say will not be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing customer service, friendly warm welcome from the staff, food was made fresh and tasted lovely. Good fair portion sized plenty of options on the menu one of the best chippys in Swad will be my new local.

It’s not often i use this Domino’s, but EVERY time i do theres a problem. When placing an order the waiting time is 12 - 14 minutes but when turning up for collection after 20 minutes, they haven’t even started it, thus ending up being a wait of 35 minutes+. Then they always say they have ran out of a side. Well thats great but why let me order it in the first places then. Obtaining a refund seems really difficult for them. You don’t normally mind overpaying so much for a bang average pizza as long as the service is good, but here it is shocking. I will definitely not be returning

The shop says it shuts at half 10 online but it’s always shut at least an hour earlier whenever I go?? Update your opening times

A quiet morning with no more than 10 other tables occupied, still resulted in a 15+ mins queue for two coffees. Unfortunately the whole cafe needs a revamp and better staffing.

First tried to hand me someone else’s food, by the time mix up sorted my meal was cold. Staff on window 2 seemed to b helpful. I would have returned but needed to grab food and go.

Really awful. Kids eat free but not clear that £5.50 has to be spent. Food came jacket potatoes so small and paid for extra cheese and honestly could have counted the strands. No servettes dirty looking cutley and sticky tables Won’t return

Ordered the Classic Meal Deal on Uber Eats. Speed of service was very impressive, however it was clear that their speediness was due to lack of quality assurance for the order. Despite having ordered a large margherita pizza, cheesy bread and two diet cokes, I received a large pepperoni pizza, cheesy bread and two regular cokes (not even remotely correct really). I wouldn’t have minded apart from the fact both me and my sister are vegetarian so couldn’t even eat the pizza (what a waste of food). On top of that, Uber only refunded me half the price I paid, meaning I essentially spent a tenner on a tiny cheesy bread (make it make sense I beg)?! Then I tried to call the restaurant itself, and I am not being remotely hyperbolic when I say I called 10 times and received NO answer. Couldn’t even have a replacement pizza or drink sent over, so ended up eating a frozen pizza for dinner. Overall, really disappointing experience. There hasn’t been a lower moment for a Caesar since the Ides of March.

Usually wouldn’t moan about this takeaway. But on this occasion we had an awful meal, to be fair when I phoned to complain he did offer to redo it, but I had eaten the chicken and thrown the rest away, the order had been squashed into one bag and tied up really tight, causing the pitta to go soft and salad to wilt and be warm, and ended up swimming in chilli sauce! And the chips were the end of a bag all small hard bits. He then said next time I order he would do it all for no charge. Which I thought was great service…. But the following week I rang to get the order, he then said he would knock off £8 and give us a bottle of drink!!! After saying no as he had already told me he would do it for free, he did then say ok, but wasn’t happy about it. My daughter went and collected it. And they basically said to her that we had lied about our order 😡 She came back the order was as it should have been the previous time, very nice. I then went on messenger on the FB to say thank you for redoing the order and I didn’t appreciate being called a so called liar. Etc. ………………………………………………… I will show you the response I received from them…. Dear customer, We appreciate your feedback and efforts to address your concerns. Unfortunately, it seems we may not have met your expectations. We kindly suggest exploring alternative dining options that better align with your preferences. Thank you for considering us, and we wish you enjoyable meals elsewhere. ………………………………………………………… How RUDE!! Basically saying don’t come back. They obviously can’t take a little criticism from a loyal customer.

Fab little friendly pub with some good music and a good atmosphere! Bar staff really friendly and the landlady was lovely and chatty too! Would recommend!

Ordered food through the drive through and the employee rushes myself and had to tell them to wait whilst we was still thinking on what we was having. Once we got the order and got home found they had made numerous mistakes and when we phoned them was talking g to them then they just hung up and tried numerous time calling g them back they just couldn't be bothered to pick up. I would certainly not go back there again also would advise other people to give this place a miss
