Really awful. Kids eat free but not clear that £5.50 has to be spent. Food came jacket potatoes so small and paid for extra cheese and honestly could have counted the strands. No servettes dirty looking cutley and sticky tables Won’t return

I'm not one for complaining about anything normally but this was absolutely awful. Cold bacon, brown overcooked hard egg. Cremated black pudding and hash browns. Can't believe how far downhill this is compared to how it was. Won't be going againn....

I really like this cafe but the chicken nuggets are a bit artifical. The desserts are better than the mains although mains are still really good. Order at the register and not at the machine because it sometimes adds items you did not order.

Awful experience, coffee machine faulty ,no tea spoons, no artificial sweetener, no knives and I had 2 slices of white toast which were cold and I sent them back and my next 2 slices were cold also. At least I got a 99p refund.

We gave Morrisons one more chance as previously their sandwiches in the cafe had very dry crusts. We stood waiting at the till to be served while one very surly member of staff said that there was no roast dinners available when it clearly says on the menu that they were, very disappointing. We won't be going back to that store cafe again.

went for the breakfast offer they said they were busy would have a wait think they then staryed to rush cookinf the food bacon could have been cooked more mushrooms were hardly cooked did tell staff they bought out replacememts but still the same part of cafe cordened off due to leaks in roof not one of there better meals

The cafe was really cold - and the shop floor was even colder - it was like being in a freezer - lots of people moaning about it - in fact i only purchased a few items and was glad to get outside into the sunshine - even one of your shelf stackers commented on the fact that it was colder than ever !!!

today 19/4/22 we waited for food nearly an hour all the dirty tray racks were full and tables were left covered in other peoples eaten food trays plates etc , there is NOT ENOUGH staff to run this cafe its time the management woke up to that , the couple of staff I saw were rushed off their feet and working hard trying to keep up .

Called into the cafe today with my elderly mum. The tall lady on the till greeted me and we had some hilarious banter together. She was fabulous and made me laugh After taking my seat the order arrived from a young blonde lady again who was quite simply full of beans! She could not do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Next stop was a lady clearing the tables. She again acknowledged us and chatted briefly. What a great experience at your cafe. Whoever trains your fabulous staff has got it absolutely right. Having worked in an airport for many years I am used to observing people and their habits and your staff are an absolute credit to you. Well done. I will be back!

Three of us recently visited on two separate occasions. Trip 1: The half price breakfast deal running in September 2021. Ordered 3 breakfasts, all arrived missing black pudding, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. Pointed the missing items out to the lady serving. She arrived several minutes later with the toast. This had clearly been pre-made, was cold and was like eating a computer mouse mat with butter on. .She then appeared with a small plate on which there were two further hash browns. I pointed out that those weren't the missing items, only to be told that the cook had sent these as the other items weren't available. Told her that it wasn't acceptable to send out food orders missing advertised items. No apology was received and she just walked off. We were the only customers in the cafe at that point. Trip 2: The by one, get one free deal running October 2021: The person taking the food orders was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered doing front of house service. We had huffing, puffing, eye rolling and everything in between. The order was 1 x burger and 1 x fish and chips. I politely asked for no burger sauce and for the salad on the burger to be on the side of the plate rather than on the bun - wow, the reaction was appalling. She rolled her eyes, muttered under her breath and was clearly displeased that it meant she had to key in a few special instructions. The food arrived with a sparse amount of cold chips on both plates. The burger was semi warm. The fish was ok but a very small portion and didn't come with the advertised wedge of lemon and the mushy peas were garden peas. I had to ask twice for the two slices of bread and butter that had been ordered. On this occasion, there was a family of three in front of us ordering that had received the same experience that we subsequently did, plus one other diner already seated. Pre pandemic, we visited this cafe prior to shopping twice a week and I truly can't recall a bad experience. To have two negative experiences in a row at a venue lacking in customers is clearly testament to the fact that the dining experience there has declined considerably. We won't be returning.

Nice breakfast BUT one person on the till to serve customers, take food to tables and clear the tables. Well I say clear the tables but not clean the tables. They should be spraying and sanitizing each and every table after every use in these times, every other eating venue I have been to since the lockdown has been eased is doing this. Its just overall badly organised what ever time of day you go. Employing just one more person to take care of customers coming into the cafe and serving and cleaning down the tables would make a world of difference and give a better experience overall.

Went for breakfast for the Eat Well. Utter chaos, hot drinks a no go water all over the floor. The woman at the till was doing nothing but moaning, whole experience was horrid, not a relaxing breakfast or atmosphere and to top it all we noticed a lot of the items on the breakfast were either not the amount stated or not there at all. First and last visit.

Arrived at just after 9.00 a.m. this morning and, after eventually finding a parking space (as immensely busy), I then helped an elderly couple to obtain a trolley before finding one for myself (the trolleys by the shop were all strapped together). I shopped for about an hour as this was my main Christmas food shop. I then queued patiently to pay. I packed my goods into my own shopping bags. When I handed over 3 morrisons vouchers worth £15.00 (expiry 25/12/2019) towards the shop, the check-out person would not accept them without my More card. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, it had become detached from my keyring. Also, I could not see why I needed it in addition to the vouchers themselves. I asked to speak to someone in charge to discuss the matter further. The check-out person then called someone in charge of the checkouts, who was most unhelpful and with a poor attitude towards customer service, who came over as somewhat of a 'jobsworth.' I stated that it wasn't clear that the vouchers needed to be accompanied by the More card. Apparently, it's in the terms and conditions. However, I think it would be a challenge for most customers to be able to read the small print, typed in palest green, that details the terms and conditions. The check-out supervisor offered me no viable solution and would not permit me to speak to a manager. I was conscious of other shoppers in the queue. It was very embarrassing and frustrating and a complete waste of my time and effort as well as fuel. I was forced to leave my shopping behind and walk away. This really isn't very satisfactory and I'm disheartened by the lack of Christmas spirit and goodwill. The T&Cs need to be made clearer and there should be a more customer friendly method of dealing with matters like this in-store.

How can a place run out of poached eggs, but continue to have fried and scrambled eggs?! On top of that cutlery was still wet / dirty from the washer. That being said, the food did come slightly faster than the 20 minutes wait we were warned about at the till.

I went in with a list of about 20 items; nothing extraordinary or exclusive to Fortnum & Mason. I came out with 6 items as everything else was either out of stock or I chose not to pick up the fresh produce as the place is so dirty. I toyed with the restaurant but the long queue, lack of food on offer coupled with the customer who said she had been waiting 35 minutes for a round of toast put me off. Disappointing.So I emailed Morrisons Customer Services with my comments and 6 days later, they replied with.... and I am quoting here.... "oh dear, looks like we were not very good. Stick with us and we will try to do better" - and yes, that is all their reply said!!So my recommendation for shopping at Morrisons is drive past and go to Sainsburys.

I went in once and won’t be going back. The overpowering smell of fish was terrible! Not what I want on entering a supermarket. Walking through the alcohol section to access the checkouts I encountered several customers who were loud, smelly and uncouth, most worryingly they seemed to be related to the staff member on duty.Decent Sainsbury’s down the road, go there.

Have been in for breakfast. Very good value for money. You can either have one of the set breakfasts or make up your own with individual items. There is also a healthier option available, which doesn’t compromise on taste. Can’t fault the food that we had.

What was thought to be a lovely local and new to the area, we were area they have new owners but was shown true colours after a couple of weeks. 1st time landlanding shouting at people on the carpark. We gave the benefit of the doubt and visited for one hour against the following week as we live accross the road and from nowhere the landlandy appear from nowhere and starting on customers being very disrespectful and aggressive arguemtive who seemed to be very relaxed before they appeared. Quite shocked with the way the owners/landlord/landlady behaviour to ensure honisit. Save to say will not be visiting again.

The cafe only had 5 people in it when I arrived. No one waiting to be served. After being looked at a couple of times by a couple of girls standing in the cafe area one finally came over to take my order. My order given she said it would be bought over. The food arrived and was left at the table by a second girl who was carrying on a conversation with someone across the room. She didn’t bring any cutlery. I got up to fetch some and nearly picked up a spoon out of a container that was full of dirty utensils left next to the clean ones. I felt I was an inconvenience. However the food and coffee were good and hot. Sainsbury’s could do much better than this. Current staff more interested in their phone than customer service

Great location, food is good, people are lovely but there never enough of them. They have an excellent outdoors garden but trying to get a drink at the bar just takes forever and it's the same everytime. It used to be the place you'd walk to for a pint in the garden in summer but unfortunately not any longer.

We had two evening meals, unconnected to our stay at Premier Inn Burton On Trent East next door, and they were fantastic. Nice bar staff and pleasant facilities.
