Wrong order delivered, pathetic

Quite place and buzzing early from start 730Am. Great place to sit outside and comfy indoor.

The food was piping hot and delicious.

This is the third time I’ve ordered from Costa and items are missing !! Always croissants , if they’re unable to provide on the menu then it should be made unavailable , got 2 grandchildren with me with one croissant between them .

Since the latest refurbishment this place as lost its identity! It resembles a staff canteen with no atmosphere, the worst furniture ever in a coffee shop and the drink quality has dramatically gotten worse. I now use Starbucks instead and so do others I've spoken to.

Good coffee shop, standard Costa products so you know what you're getting, easy to access, just not much space when it's busy.

More than 60% of my order missing had to order elsewhere and when I tried to ring the branch the number doesn’t connect.

Forgot my child's food so now very upset toddler 😭

I asked for a caffeinated drink but there was no caffeine in it. I also ordered a cinnamon swirl and there was no one in the bag

No cold coffees availvale, staff didn't have much about them and made no attempt to interact.

Iced latte was spilt all in the bag, breakfast wrap and chicken and chorizo panini missing. Worst costa ever!!

It’s been a while so thought I’d give it a chance. Two toasties missing from the order! Really! How difficult is it to get an order right! They must need a degree to work here! The delivery drivers couldn’t even care less! Do not order from Costa Swadlincote!

My blueberry bubble tea is so sour it's undrinkable and they sent me the wrong food

Spent over £15, didn't receive my free item.. Had an item crossed off the order, but was charged for it.

This is the third time ordering a delivery from Swadlincote Costa Coffee and every single time there is an item missing!!

Great place for a refresher before restarting shopping

This is the best Costa on the planet. The staff are extremely friendly, thoughtful, professional and nothing is too much trouble to them. Their customer care is phenomenal and they are a credit to their employer.

Starbucks has a handsome barista, go there x

Coffee is awful Staff need more Batista training it's not their fault they only get minimal training.

No problem with anything but just wish they hadn't put chocolate cakes near hot food and drinks as it had melted them slightly. Thank you.

Gave me the wrong items of food sent something i do not like to eat

This is a nice store and the staff seem friendly and efficient with your orders. There was a nice selection of cold and hot sandwiches and a nice selection of cakes. Of course there was the usual selection of coffees. The shop is ground-floor and easy access if disabled. There are other stores in the vicinity, for instance, Iceland, Morrisons, Aldi, a charity shop, pet shop, tall chimney restaurant, cinema, gym and a home bargains but that's closed for refurbishment and due to open in April. Overall a good little stop, no matter what your after. Parking g for 3 hours, if using one of the stores surrounding.

Regular visitors to costa coffee Swadlincote and the lovely Maia that works their always greats us with a bright happy smile and always remembers I like ice in my americano. Her friendly bright professionalism is second to none... thank you Maia

Order arrived with no sandwich again!! Why is there no phone call from the store or at least offer a 2nd selection option on the app so you know what other sandwich to provide.

Hot Drink was half froth, that's not what you pay for.

Half a drink arrived lol. Large container with a small drink inside. Paid for large.

Order delivered without the sandwich and no way to contact the store!! Very bad customer service Costa!!

Although the food and coffee quality is great, I've had multiple orders screwed up. Either missing items, or being given the wrong order entirely (right receipt stapled to wrong bag). I've also had the order pushed back multiple times. on one occasion, having the order pushed back by nearly an hour.

costa was great but delivery driver preoccupied on his phone. threw order towards me then walked off.

Appalling service. Missing 6 items all together, and the 3 items that did turn up were unappealing. Will not be ordering again.

Rubbish!! I ordered an all day breakfast wrap but a sausage cob was sent instead. Lodged a claim with JustEat.

Missing marshmellows on hot choc, no sign on what was semi skimmed & what was oat milk. Both cakes missing

A really nice Costa..relaxed and great parking.. Staff friendly and helpful with allergy concern I had..couldn't have been more caring!

The food was very dry , I could barely taste the Brie or cranberry, very disappointing for the price.

Not even mad as I order from here often and understand everyone makes mistakes as we are all human but giving me 2 of the wrong items & one of the items not even having the main ingredient in is unreal, didn’t contact me about any replacement products either, apart from that fast delivery and great coffee

Absolutely appalling food. Ordered two panini and they were black, burnt and inedible ! Someone at the shop saw them and thought send anyway and hope they don’t complain. You can’t even phone them to complain ! Terrible. Won’t order from them again and would recommend no one buys food there as they don’t care what they send.

We were given a toastie rather than max and cheese portion but everything else was perfect. The delivery driver was lovely too.

Drinks were only half full which for the price you’re paying is ridiculous! Were warm when arrived but mainly the drink size which lacks, as you’d expect a full cup to arrive!

Both coffees we'd ordered had been spilt. The driver had translated on his phone to say sorry they'd spilt and walked off. Very little left in either cup.

The staff at this Costa are miserable and rude. The shop is dirty and they start closing areas in the shop to clean 2 hours before they close. Often not open and now their opening times are reduced. Shambles!

Staff are so rude and unwelcoming compared to other Costa stores in the area. Dirty tables and chairs and staff too busy chatting to bother

Excellent staff and brilliant service

Past couple days tried to come but has been shut each time. Came yesterday about 5pm and was ment to be open till 6pm and was shut and today ( sunday ) came at 4.05pm, was supposed to be open till 5pm and was shut again..... just a bit annoying as no sign in the window to explain why.

What a dump. Tables not cleared crumbs on the floor had to clean the table before I could use it. Long queue incredible.

Absolutely rubbish service noone gets anything right in here there all Absolutely useless. Can't even get a simple coffee right and charge more than price.

If You want good service go to different branch of Costa, these will make sure Your coffee half strength and fingers dipped in.

A quick drop in at 9am to grab a coffee on the way to a customer. Well that’s what I thought, only one person in front of me ordering one drink, easy. Well the two servers had other ideas, it took more than 15 mins to get a medium black coffee. The constant chat between the servers took up all of that time, to a point where after they eventually made my coffee, they asked if I wanted milk in it. Now I’m not a trained barista but I tend not to put milk in my black coffee, maybe that’s just me! More work less chat maybe?

Great place to go and relax with a nice coffee. Staff are always friendly. However today I was slightly disappointed. With the weather being as cold as it was the place wasn't warm at all. Everyone in the shop was still wearing coats. Not going to let this stop me from going here again as I'm sure it's just a one off.

What on earth has happened to the staff at Costa in swadlincote.They used to be so nice and friendly .Now they are mostly miserable,unhelpful and everything seems to be too much trouble.I have been visiting regular with a group of friends and just lately the staff are terrible.Especially a young girl called Kerry who has served us several weeks in a row.She doesn’t know how to speak to customers and is rude,surly and quite patronizing whenever you ask her anything.She quite clearly doesn’t want to be there .She needs to definitely look for another job as a customer facing role is not for her !!,

One of the nicest Costa Cofffee shops. Great service and always with a smile. Food is 4 stars as it's not exactly value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of comfortable seating from bench seating, chairs and tables and some wingback style armchairs with low tables. These are located next to the windows so you can sit and watch the world go by.

Service isn't as friendly as you would expect but couple members of staff are friendly then others are just plain rude, atmosphere is lovely and sometimes slot of the customers leave there mess everywhere food is lovely and hot just very pricey

Good coffee and friendly staff but it is always so busy and we have to wait 10 minutes to either be served or get our drinks! It is also quite small so we struggle to find seating spacious enough with our pram, but this is not at the fault of the staff!

Brilliant staff, very pleasant what ever day you go in

I go most Saturday mornings and most tables are dirty and have dirty plates etc on them. Usually have to clear a table myself and wipe clean. It is busy but they obviously need more staff. For the prices they charge the standard of cleanliness should be better

Drinks are OK, food is very overpriced. Sometimes the tables are dirty and have a build up of dirty crockery.

Visited here February & march coffee was ok but not happy with the cleanliness , tables cluttered the windows higher up need a good clean loads of cobwebs higher up near windows and light flexes wooly with cobwebs above where you eat your food . Staff don't seem to care much about it either. Could do with a good refurb.
