McDonald's Restaurant in South Derbyshire

Crap service. Allows the food to sit out waiting for delivery for 40 minutes, food was stone cold unedible. Rang the store and you get the same "ring Uber not my problem" common sense would be to ring Uber and complain your customers are recieving cold food not punish the customer. Awful

I’ve been to McDonald’s in the uk mainly but also in different countries. This branch seems to differ from all the rest. The employees seem older and of the local area. My experience wasn’t good. I called in after doing some shopping, it’s located in a Asda superstore. I was waiting behind one couple that had just arrived. There wasn’t anybody behind the counter serving. I looked around and saw staff taking photos of each other, think they’d just decorated for Halloween and may have been excited. I waited patiently until my patience metre was on red. I then went to ask if there was anybody serving. The employees said there should be somebody there in a minute. There wasn’t. These people went about their business in a way that prioritised their own enjoyment rather than the customers needs. I eventually go my order and sat down to eat my meal. I was about to leave and observed an employee going around the dining area informing customers there was a problem in the kitchen. She said if you are waiting for your order you could either wait for the problem to be fixed or have your money back. If you want your money back you have to go through the app, an elderly couple who had managed to navigate payment by card were most concerned about the technical aspect of this. All in all chaos.

The food is always cold, and the majority of staff don’t really care. Always a long wait due to the amount of delivery companies picking up food for delivery.

All staff were quiet and one member of staff wandered around with a tray of food in the back for 5 mins before taking it to customer. They don't use computer screens just get a quiet person to attempt to shout the orders ready to collect. On way out the wandering member of staff was stood In the aisle on her phone.

Always seems busy, they know what their customers want and provide it in a speedy and efficient service.

Order at the counter and then sit down and your food/drink is brought to your table in quick time, it works for me.

Decide to try the special offer double big mac for a kid week teatime treat, it was just right, easy ordering from touch screen and then table service, first arrival drinks a few mins later food, splendid

Extremely helpful. I’d ordered through the app for the first time and it took me to this Mcds which although is my closest its not my usual as we usually go through the drive thru. I’d ordered a fair amount of food so was concerned that If I’d manage back to my car.. I never asked for any help but just asking about the app mentioning that I’d normally use a drive thru due to struggling but they took it upon themselves to make sure they gave me bags with handles and three separate members of staff offered to help me to my car! This is helpful at any time but in the current climate with the new normal they have to deal with and the rules they are following I thought that was exceptional service...

i had an enjoyable visit to this establishment i would go again if service was repeated.u must visit this maccy dees in a store much better than an existing one

Just called for a coffee. Two large vanilla milkshakes and a small portion of French fries (chips) with tomato and a barbecue sauce. Most enjoyable. Staff friendly and helpful will go again

In a busy store like Asda, this place has a constant stream of folk who want some quick food, Wednesday evening shopping trip with some typical McDonalds snack time, all good.

After the revamp of this McDonalds its still looking reasonable and inviting, nice place to grab a snack after completing the shopping in Asda.

Order at the counter, then off to the drinks machine then watch the screen for you order to be processed and then collect it, too much faffing around here for me.

This McDonalds has had a revamp recently and the dinning area is better, the staff seem to have improved at the same time and the service has improved, an improved McDonald.

Twelve months ago, I wondered how both Asda and McDonalds had allowed a restaurant within their remit to reach the level we found it in. Since then, vast improvements have been made to reach a higher standard of service and tidyness around the seating area. Staff at McDonalds must be praised for the efforts they have made and in many terms, succeeded with. Yes, ordering is still hit and miss - largely when assistants forget to remind you about daily deals, or fail to realise that it is possible to have a McDonalds without fries. Asking for three drinks with two meals is another minefield. But, today, we found the manager more than accommodating, so helpful, happy and cheerful. Food was brought quickly to the table with wait-service. The restaurant as a whole was much cleaner and tidier than before. I did notice a strange strategy - that seating reserved for those with buggies was immediately adjacent to the new hot (and cold) drinks dispensers. This area needs to be bigger and separated from seating as we saw it crowded and many hot drinks were being carried past other seated customers without a lid or tray. Staff members were available to help with this (new? facility. Staying in this more appealing state, we will certainly be persuaded to visit again. Thank you for two lovely chicken and sweet chili wraps today. These were better due to being marginally under filled with salad - so nothing spilled out while being eaten!!

Have visited this McDonald's several times and unfortunately EVERY single time there is a huge wait for food. It doesn't matter if there's 1 or 10 people to serve the wait is VERY disappointing. I don't think I have ever been to a slower fast food restaurant. I have just been informed by staff, that this restaurant will be shut for 2 weeks starting Thursday 09 August 2018 for a big refurbishment, hopefully this will improve the speed?

Why is it when it's late at night and you go to Mc Donalds 4/10 some of the foods cold fries aren't always fresh dry and warm if your lucky.i raised issue with Head Office in London who contacted me offer a replacement meal.. he's missing the point you go there expecting freshly prepared food to a high standard. Not Cold. And it still happens.i won't leave the drive thru u til it's been checked.

Chips were really soggy and cold and big mac bread was hard. I wouldn't go back again. Only good thing was you help yourself to drinks so you actually get a full drink for once. Even though it states no free refills staff friends were continuously filling up there's. Avoid at all cost go to another mcdonalds and enjoy it !!!!!

Apart from the burgers and bun being the same size as a kids meal, it was freshly cooked and tasted good. Staff were very efficient and cleaning staff was excellent and friendly.

Cheap, fast , fills a gap, the service is slightly disorganised, there could be room for improvement, need more space in seating area ,especially for proms and disabled people

Went to Asda to do a little shop. Felt a little hunger so popped into McDonald's. Didn't have to wait to long for my food. Staff were nice and friendly. The food was nice not to greasy.

busy place and can seem very hectic with shoppers and trollies but I guess that's expected from having a Mcdonalds in a Walmart but service always seems quick and ive never had any issues with the food its always fresh

Went here with missus, Saturday 2pm ish so it was packed, queued for 15 mins and when I eventually got to the front of line ordered a quarter pounder meal for myself and then a veggie burger for the missus, was told the only veggie option they had was a fillet of fish! How is that a vegetarian option?

McDonald's como qualquer outro. As vezes fica aberto até de madrugada e é bom para passar depois da balada.
