The best restaurants serving Default food in North West Leicestershire East Midlands

Stopped at this McDonald’s travelling back from Birmingham 10,15 at night. Pulled up and waited to be asked for our order, they seemed to take ages! My partner said “for god sake hurry up” then a girl said “ if you are going to swear I won’t take your order” I then told my partner to leave it! Don’t want to order from them! I confronted her and asked what part of god sake is swearing to you!! She shut the glas doors and smirked at me 😠 We asked to speak to the management she was absolutely no use, saying her staff member heard us swear!! Whatever keep your 3 star food and rubbish rude unprofessional staff!!! Disgraceful service!!!!!’

Stayed at the Travel lodge for 2 night over the Download festival ( June 14th + 15th 2019). We had no choice but to get breakfast at the Harvester.

We've been here a couple of times now, but I don't think we'll be back a third time. There's a good variety of food to choose from, including a couple of veggie options. The idea is good- pick what size box you want and choose what you want to fill it. The price is fair for the amount you get. Unfortunately the quality of the food is not great. The last time we went everything was extremely salty. I only had one forkful and it was salt overload, just not nice food at all.

I have been eating here once a week for the past 6 months and never had a bad meal or bad deal. A great selection of the simple food you'd expect from a chip shop (fish & chips, pies, sausages, kebabs) and also some curries and tikka, and really good pizzas, and more. Massive portions, at very reasonable prices and the food tastes great. The staff are friendly, mostly sikhs I believe (hence people of honour who would not give you a bad deal) and efficient: I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes when ordering in the shop. I think it's one of the best chip shops I have been to anywhere. I look forwards to my weekly visit to the Big Fish and I'd eat there every night were it not for the fact that I must watch my weight! I'm heading there tonight and am looking forwards to it already!

Wasn't expecting anything amazing as it's in an airport but for £16 I got sausage and mash with what were clearly the cheapest sausages you could buy with probably about 5% actual meat in them. Would not go again, much rather eat at the chains - atleast they have some vague standards they have to set themselves against

3 members of staff on a busy Friday lunch time. Waited half an hour for my food

Would be a zero if I could! Came earlier than I asked, chips under cooked and a burnt pizza. Stevie wonder must have cut the garlic bread! ‘Manager’ on the phone says they take pictures of everything before it’s sent out.. maybe he cut the garlic bread. Apparently gave me his area managers phone number, but quite questionable. The only number he had as head office number is non existent. Trust the reviews - no idea how this overprice crap is still trading. Food straight in the bin, waste of £25. May i recommend absolutely anywhere else! Absolutely disgusting

Visited this store this afternoon using the drive through, and I accidentally drove off with out some of my order, then this absolute legend comes running over in the pouring rain to pass my my drinks, what a legend, hats off to you mate. In the absolute pouring rain this lad made sure I got my drinks 💪 legend

Always pop in before we fly , however this time the food was awful .. burger cold and chips over done , food sat a long time on the counter before it was bought to the table , women on the table behind us were pouring wine in drink bottles to take on the plane while the member of staff laughed talking about it .. disgraceful

I asked if it was possible to rinse my travel mug out for me before putting my fresh coffee in it and the member of staff refused to do it saying why do I want your dirty cup. Also they were only serving in take away cups.

Really the food is quite inedible, We had 3 fish and chips £17.50 each the chips were hard the fish was so small and greasy and the mushy peas were garden peas moshed, hard and inedible 2 dirty burgers £17.50 and £19.00 with a rasher of bacon! The burgers were full of gristle my husband couldn't eat his, the whole plate of food was left, 1 Tikka Masala which wasn't too bad 2 small bottles of water £9 2 bottles of Chablis £78.00 When we asked for vinegar we got sachets of meyo and then a bowl of balsamic vinegar, not quite sure what's going on here, but the service and quality of the food certainly does not measure up to the price, we certainly will not be staying or eating at the Hilton again

Just had a breakfast, first of all I asked for toast and scrambled egg with no butter.The toast came with butter.I told the waitress and no offer to exchange, she just shrugged her shoulders. Secondly the other 2 breakfasts the sausages were practically raw and there was a lot of grease on the plate.looking around the cafe we were not the only ones not to eat the sausages.They we're still pink and hardly any colour to them.We would not return.

No gloves 🧤 rubbing his hand on his T-shirt 👕 and making you a pizza with the taste of dirty T-shirt that he’s warring for the whole week

We had 5 pizzas and each one had amazing taste, genuinely the best dominoes around!

Dreadful coffee, very expensive for what you get. Always call in when walking around Conkers & Moira, which we do regularly. Wouldn't go again, bring a flask with us in future. Definitely gone downhill, probably due to cost cutting
