Domino's Pizza - Ashby-de-la-Zouch in North West Leicestershire

Ordered a fair few times when they first opened and had deilvered with no issues. However with the last delieveries they've been meet with issues with having stand outside. Tonight I've had a driver somehow get lost and when trying to give him directions he just hung up on me. When I phoned the store he said he'd phone driver before I had finished explaining the issue. From the first phone call to getting headed over was an extra 15 minutes, which meant it was luke warm at best when I eventually got it.

Ordered many times from this Domino's since it opened and it was generally decent however, recently the pizza has been very inconsistent with most of them having little sauce or halves of the pizza missing cheese. This inconsistency is pretty appalling for a chain restaurant. One big issue is also the amount of times they have forgotten the sauce or dips either to pizza's or for the cinni dippers, the whole point of the cinni dippers is to dip them in an icing yet they regularly forget to put it in. The delivery times are decent but one time the delivery driver didn't deliver it to the correct house and not only didn't the driver or restaurant inform me of this they just left it with a neighbour who had to figure out where my house was and deliver it to me themselves. Overall a pretty poor experience and I won't be ordering from here in the future.

I tried to order some pizzas for my daughters birthday, I got quoted £42 the day before I went and bought them. When I ordered the pizza the next day, the same person told me it would be £58???? How is this even possible?? At the same time there was a deal on the domino’s app that would have cost the same for more food, and when I mentioned this the employee didn’t understand? So I was still charged a large sum for less food!! The employee did try to sort this out for us but I’m still not 100% happy.

Dominoes has been my favourite takeaway for ages and me and my little boy usually love getting a dominoes every now and then for a treat, but my experience last night was actually traumatising it just felt like they were taking the complete mickey out of me, so I won’t ever be ordering again. Basically, there were some cookies missing from my order so I thought no biggie I’ll just ring up and see if they’d be able to help, and explained that there was an item missing from my order. The guy answering the phone said ‘oh yeah, the chocolate caramel cookies?’ before I could even tell him what was missing, and said sorry they will get sent out to you again. So we waited some time and I tried calling a few times to see when they would be arriving and no one answered the phone so I got my partner to ring and they picked up straight away. No lie my partner was on the phone with them at least 15 minutes, they said no one from our address had ordered dominoes that day and it was just getting so frustrating at this point 🤣 we tried to give them the order number and they said they couldn’t use the order number to see if we’d ordered 😭 over and over again and all I wanted was to try the new cookies lol. I never got them 🥲 £6.99 down the drain (no it’s not much in the grand scheme of things but I’ve paid money for nothing and that’s just annoying isn’t it) so now me and my son are just really sad because we never got our cookies (refer to photo)

Regularly order from Ashby, food really good and generally fast delivery well tracked on the app. Once had an issue with a delayed delivery - manager was really helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

Missed a pizza from a family order, complained to the driver at first who made a call then just drove off with no explanation, daughter called the shop and eventually got through and the person on the other end was nothing but ignorant saying he couldn't hear my daughter even though the noise was at his end? Eventually got the message through that a pizza was missing from a family meal they said OK will get it sorted, no apology no estimated time for delivery by the time the pizza arrived over half an hour later we had eaten ours and my daughter could then have hers....not really the family meal as planned, no wonder this establishments got a lot of bad reviews its not been open long and at this rate will soon be shutting down for good...back to Ashby Grill for us in the future.

The last two times we’ve had a Domino’s we had to call customer services and i didn’t give a review as we’ve been having them for years without issue. I’m all for three strikes and you’re out. The order today wasn’t even worth £5 and they’re charging £22.99 for a pizza.

Pizza delivered incorrect, they offered to replace...told 15 minutes but wasnt..second pizza delivered incorrectly, manager rudely hung up during conversation, no apology...have to wait 3 days for refund so let's see.

Awful “manager” with terrible phone manners. In the past I’ve ordered a gluten free pizza for a friend, who is also dairy free. We cannot choose dairy free cheese on the app, so as usual I called up to make the change over the phone as I have done many times in the past. Only this time, I was told that gluten free pizzas can have NO changes made to them and if it has been allowed in the past that was, and I quote, “a serious crime” ha! When I asked why a normal pizza base could have dairy free cheese, but a gluten free one couldn’t, he offered to REMOVE the cheese or change to a normal base?! How does that help someone who is gluten intolerant?! When I said removing the cheese is a change and I thought that wasn’t allowed, he literally HUNG UP on me! Since when is accommodating for someone’s dietary requirements a crime?! Terrible service!

The worst pizza and service ever. We ordered one pizza and it was delivered cold. When I called to complain they said they would send a fresh pizza. We waited an hour and 10 minutes and they had nothing on the system for a new delivery. They offered a refund but it would take 4 days. I didn’t trust them so I asked for a cash refund which they refused. In future I will travel to Swadlincote dominos.

Waited for nearly half an hour after being told its ready to collect, when they finally realised this they started to swap tickets around on other pizzas to complete the order, people before us had waited over an hour, definitely will not be using the poorly run branch again, to top it all off the area manager was the one swapping the order stickers on the box

Pizza was hot and arrived very quickly and the prices were just domino’s prices. The delivery guy was good. Nothing bad to say about it.

Got food poisoning from a pizza from here, flagged it with them and they weren’t interested - I’d recommend ordering from a different branch (or Zamanis next door!)

I ordered a pizza and received dough. Bloke that delivered it was nice though… Not exactly what I asked for.

So after being made to wait nearly 2 hours for the pizzas we ordered (and didn’t end up getting) phone calls to head office just to get offered a voucher no apology whatsoever! Now every week on a NEW number they send texts even though you have opted out! Poor service and harassment and poor food! Avoid!

Terrible pizza. Must have been a newbie on the job tonight. Topping for a medium size on a large pizza - good 2“ of dry crust. Also mucked up the other order: no mushrooms, even written on the box but still on the pizza! But their inability to get the orders right is legendary. This branch of Domino’s is truly outstanding in its dismal quality.

I really had one of the pizzas for the first time in my life I wasn’t impressed. It was incredibly salty and very bland. Domino’s in our upmarket town of Ashby-De-La-Zouch shouldn’t be allowed it looks incredibly out of place I also believe it is bringing more youths to our market town although the area is very expensive I expect that these are coming from less privileged areas, we have been really spoilt with Zamani's. Let’s make sure we keep using them. Zamani's Has been there many years and let’s keep supporting our local high street!

Absolutely disgusted that we were unable to purchase a Gluten Free pizza in the collection offer. No other dominos excludes these from the offer and you should be ashamed

Surprisingly ok! Read reviews about issues and delays which put me off trying. A sunshine evening and a couple of wines meant a lack of desire to cook so gave it a go. Saturday night, delivery in just over 20 mins and overall not bad at all. I mean its a chain but was surprised by the quality on this occasion. Will try again when drunk!

Probably the worst I've had never rated them before nor after don't bother far better options in town yet another franchise that takes out and puts nothing back in town other than filling an empty shop

Worst pizza I have ever had. They are letting Domino's trade name down. Soggy base bent double on picking up, to thick tomatoe paste and hardly any cheese, burnt pepperoni and missing item from order. Just tasted of salt. First and last time I'm ordering from new shop at Ashby

Been looking forward to domino' s opening in Ashby! What a let down ! Pizza not cut in equal slices - not even sliced most of it! Toppings burnt , garlic bread dough was undercooked and stale! £50 wasted ! What a shame - as I do like domino's..... But never again!

It is the first Friday this branch is open, and ordered at peak time 6pm. Quoted 35 mins but took a little longer, so not bad at all if you asked me. Prepared and cooked to the usual domino’s standard (definitely not undercooked). Thankful for there to finally be one in our local area.

Ordered for collection and a full queue was waiting outside the store. Friendly lady serving every one at the front of the store and updating the customers on their orders. The food was delicious! Happy to finally have a Domino's in town.

Just awful. 2 hours for food to turn up. When it turned up our drink was missing. Another was sent out and low and behold, it was the wrong one. Will not be ordering again.

Absolutely joke. Ordered the pizza over phone. Staff said 30min in first time and put me on hold said too busy. After few minutes other staff take the phone said 1 hour and 30 to get my order done. The line broke up called back again. Staff picked phone left the order pick up time said 30 min. I go there my order know where said wait other 30 min. End up empty hand. Ordered pizza in Flames in Measham. Domino’s never again 😡😡

Ordered online for delivery and was told 20 - 30 mins. Didn't arrive until over an hour where the order was completely wrong… The two sides were missing and when ordered vegan combo, it was labelled up as vegan although everything inside was pure chicken!! Messed up. Wouldn't trust with the vegan pizza so couldnt trust eating any of it. Called back to mention that the order was wrong and that the two sides were missing, they said that they will deliver the sides correctly within 20-30 mins and never turned up. Waiting over an hour then called back for a full refund… Which told have to wait 3-5 working days for the money to be returned…If it does!? Dinner was ruined and had to go elsewhere after 2 hours + of waiting! . For a branch that has just opened you would expect much better and precise service. Did not get this and will not use them again unfortunately.

Pizzas are undercooked and just falling off the pizza is still dough and hasn’t been cooked for long. The way my pizza was cut was odd too.
