McDonald's in North West Leicestershire

I regularly use this McDonald's while at work. The food is nearly always hot and tastes fresh.

Wife needed to go to the rest room urgently and the staff were very helpful I'm Very grateful to them.

Really poor quality is always the same at the Appleby McDonalds order a large and you get a medium chips in a large carton. The burger is all over the place it's not a one of here hate complaining or giving negative feedback but it doesn't improve here unfortunately.

Needed cleaning and the heating was a little low

End up having a Mcdonalds about once every 6 months and this one was as disappointing as the last. Tasteless and cold. Service was quickish though

manager was VERY rude. staff everywhere but couldn’t go inside. tried to go in drive thru , wouldn’t serve us, would serve pre existing online orders but as soon as the group of us showed up they said they wouldn’t take any more of our orders. won’t be returning. #hungry

The Asian cleaning lady was very helpful and happy.

Absolutley awful service! Items missing. Upsold coffee and did not even give it! Total rip off.

Drive thru closed, only 3 staff working, 2 in back, 1 serving.

Stopped for a quick break on a long motorway journey. Less busy than a service station. Can eat in or drive through.

I'm sorry but if this had been my first ever Mc Donald's I would never have another..... Fries were well undercooked, burgers were cold and even the drinks were lacking flavour .....what's going on, if we hadn't already driven away we would have taken or order back......

Quick service at the tills. All the staff moved quickly to get the job done. My order was correct . Plenty of parking 2 negatives , hash brown was barely warm, and the hand drier in the gents was very temperamental.

All good. Straightforward. Lovely lady working the drive through. Super friendly and positive. Big fan.

Hash brownes were very greasy and undercooked. Rest of the breakfast was standard. Great service, though the toilets needed some attention.

Lucky to live near the m42 branch, always rated it compared to others, so much better than Ashby & Swadlincote branches, clean, fast and warm food, what more do you need

My granddaughter was still eating her meal, and I was drinking my tea, when a staff member came and asked us to hurry up, and leave as they needed the table. There was plenty of tables free. We had only been in for about half an hour.

Luke warm burger told no salt but someone got some no straw with drink very poor service

Lovely Christmas coffee . My children and grandchildren enjoyed their breakfast.

It's getting expensive just for Macy's

It's just a McDonald's........ Just watch what you get - sloppy presentation - swimming with sauce and chips were not fresh. As I said - it's just a McDonald's!

I don't go to McDonald's very often, so I thought I would give it a try after a couple of years. Bland burgers and lukewarm chips, now I remember why I seldom visit. Nice clean toilets.

I counted 7 members of staff behind the counter all chatting - even customers who clearly knew the staff members eating their food at the counter talking to them! We were waiting a while for our food and we were the only other customers in there. The staff were all messing around at the kiosks

Tried to charge £7.02 for a bacon roll meal

Always a great visit … this time a catch up with friends.

Just a stop point for a coffee or fast meal on your way to or from home. Located next to the petrol station.

The site was very busy, high throughput of customers, how can fries taste like they've sat around for a hour?

They are foreigners they don't understand English they good my order wrong and it was cold and tasted crap

Speedy accurate and friendly service. Staff have excellent manners and very well trained. Without doubt this restaurant is one of the cleanest I have ever been in, in fact I would rate the hygiene and cleanliness of this place as the best in the country. The staff here are very customer focused and not just going through the motions, the staff actually care about you. The management should be proud of the levels of service given here. Thanks to the team.

A convenient stop on a long journey.

Food was great but just wanted to say a big thanks to the manager and staff that helped my mum when she had burnt her leg, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Not sure what the managers name was but he was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately lost my receipt so wasn’t able to put this on a CSAT

The food was typical McD's fare, and being at a drive through at a Service Station, it was what it was. Food. Almost warm, but fuel for the body. The one thing that I struggle with across the board is the lack of seasoning. I know the UK Govt is determined to get everyone's salt intake down, but why doesn't a huge chain like this offer you "Pre-Seasoned" food, using a variety of low sodium salt? Instead, just as you're about to drive off you remember the need to ask, "Billy 'No Stars' " who's been serving you takes a moment off picking his nose to find the manager and ask what he needs to do (because just handing over a sachet or ten would be too easy), the car behind starts blaring it's horn, and generally things rapidly go downhill - you end up being asked to park in the bay whilst the problem gets resolved, and you tell them to forget it as you've managed to squeeze some of your own sweat over the now even more not so warm food, and get back on your trip. It seems that it's not just limited to where we were this time, as I've heard the same thing over and over from friends too. Please - get a grip. Atmosphere is only low because the mood in the car was speeding downhill faster than and out of control Milk Float in "Father Ted". (If you know, you know 😉)

Who ever was on shift the day I visited must of been in a good mood my mighty MC muffin was fully loaded with bacon and the egg was massive and yet again the coffee is well better than a well known brand outlet.

Has gotten way too pricey for what you get. Used to be a great quick cheap meal. Now you pay sit down restaurant price for the same product. Hopefully prices will come down soon.

It's a Mcdonald's if you've been to a Mcdonald's you know what to expect. If you haven't you'll work it out it ain't that deep it's burgers and fries and a on and off working milkshake machine

Not bad for a McDonald's. I called here halfway through a 300-mile journey from Yorkshire. Generally a clean and tidy place. The service was very good from all staff. The lady who was clearing tables was pleasant, too. A small car park and drive through. I had a very nice breakfast wrap, which came quickly and was piping hot.

The food is always hot ,there's a Simon there who always helps with our order with the freebies with your points as my sister and I haven't a clue how to do it

I ordered a large fries, not a medium fries in a large box. I find this highly unacceptable, but by the time I got round to eating, I'd driven too far to make it worth going back. Sort it out.

Nice McDonald’s very handy when visiting Twycross as it’s less than 5 mins away.

Always a pleasure to stop here. I travel north to south alot and look forward to my break. The food is quick and the staff very pleasant. The place is clean and tidy a credit to the cleaners.

Resturant is quite slow to deliver when using the app to order and collect, also the chips never have salt despite asking...

Standard McDonalds, relatively clean, slightly confusing entry/exit due to nearby shell garage. Saw at least two people go the wrong way out.

Actually, this was one of the best McDonald's experiences I've had in a long time. It was a stark contrast to others, but this particular location got everything right - everything was fresh and hot. Well done!

Located just off the M42/A42. I got served almost instantly, the staff were friendly and the services were generally clean. Its what you would expect from a McDonald's restaurant. Fast food at a reasonable price 24 hours a day. Been to many McDonald's but the staff here seemed very friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure my experience was a good one. I like the new mobile phone charging points. The restaurant was very clean.

Window 1 just about passes some type of human interaction but window 2 with Tom in it today was disgusting. The training at this McDonald's must be none existent. No greating at window 2 when I arrived and was shoved my food with the words there you go and there you go". Left waiting for the rest of my order to only fine out they were done with me. Cold fruit bag was but in the warm happy meal box. So dumb and a drink missing. On confronting Sam he drifted off like a flake or a butterfly in the evening summer wind. Manager grested me with rules of contact before I even spoke. Alot to learn here for a very simple job. Very poor Appleby Magan and you have been getting worse and worse. Shame. Pick KFC Ashby.

Standard maccys tbh, quite quick service, clean restaurant.

All you need at Services and besides the garage shop this is all there is at these services. It was fairly quiet with a decent drive through and enough parking too.
